  1. All froms of TOURIST death around the world must be condemed.. Even this as so to the British Tourist, and Some Germans who were killed in Sri Lanka.. But look at this performance in Canada.. This is pure stage managed Eelamist theatre… Look at this comedy show for a Person who was killed like other tourist who are killed daily these kind of actions must be condemed.. But this is over the top Eelamist theratical performance.. Now we all know many Eelamist not even born in Lanka, who dont even know the colours of the sands in Jaffna.. are suddenly ASSET rich thanks to the Sri Lankan Army.. come to claim their assets.. While many genuine Tamils before they fled registered cmplaints with courts, regarding LTTE confistacted Land.. while other who openly gave their Assets to the Eelamist cause such as the LTTE proxy thus fueling the Terror which ravaged a nation must be denied their rights to claim any ASSETS.. GOSL must adopt a new bill NOT A STEP BACK.. where eelamist International Supporters ASSets are confistacted and given to Musilms, Sinhala, Bugher, Malays even Jamicans, chinese, and nepalese.. than surrender any ASSETS to those who fueled the destruction of this LAND… Now After this Performance in Canada.. nodoubt the EElamist organisers will head back to their Grocery shops which to sell their IMPORTED SRI LANKAN goods.. Back to Business..

  2. This brutal murder is one further example why the call by the Rajapakse regime for Tamil Canadians to return/invest in “a Sri Lanka now safe and which has returned to normalcy” cannot be trusted. The house of the deceased, where the killing took place in front of many witnesses, swarms with Sinhalese army and Police personnel. Many Tamils within and outside are given the message they are in occupied territory and must behave like people under the jackboot of the ruling forces. Recource to law or justice on paper is not for them.

The Canadian HC, in all sincerity and seriousness, can “press for an investigation” But nothing will come out of this in occupied land where even offending force/s are protected by the political executive. Serious crimes by uniformed personnel are committed with impunity and blatant regularity. The life of a wealthy and successful man who came, probably with thoughts of investing in his motherland’s
future good, has been plucked away leaving his family in shock and grief. This cannot be the Miracle of Asia that is being marketed around.

    By Norman Palihawadana

Although foreign media, especially in Canada, was quick to put the suspicion over the killing of a Canadian Sri Lankan Tamil on May 03 at Paranthan, Killinochchi on the security forces, police investigations have led to the arrest of the mastermind behind the gruesome deed and three other suspects.

The suspects Arulambalam Akilan, Appahu Anandarasa, Nallusamy Balachandran, and Abeysinghe Mudiyanselage Michael Pradeepkumar, were yesterday scheduled to be produced before the Killinochchi Magistrate.

Andrew Anthonypillai Mahendrarajah was hacked to death with an axe around 9:30 p.m. at Kumarpuram, Paranthan in the belief that he possessed a lot of cash. At the time of his killing he had been building a house on a property owned by him.

On information provided by the suspects the police have also recovered a laptop, two telephones owned by the victim and the axe, some iron rods used in the killing by the suspects along with a motorcycle and five cell phones used by them.
