  1. The US should be more strategic in handling the Rajapakse dictatorship.

US-sponsored and India-supported resolutions against Sri Lanka in Geneva at the UNHRC are quite counter-productive since the Rajapakse regime uses such resolutions to whip up Sinhala Buddhist nationalist sentiment against the minorities by talking about international/
diaspora conspiracies. Rather the US should put pressure on the Rajapakse dictatorship by asking India and the Commonwealth’s Kamalesh Sharma to NOT support the Rajapakse regime and WITHDRAW CHOGM 2013 from the regime.
The Rajapakse regime uses the Commonwealth organization (which is obsolete and the ONLY international organization that has supported the Rajapakse dictatorship repeatedly), to boost its image to the Sinhalaya modayas.. and the new name of the Commonwealth of Nations in Lanka today is: “Commonwealth of Clowns” – an organization that has NO legitimacy

    • Agreed! US should put pressure on UK to pull out from CHOGM and shift the venue to the Caribbean or Mauritius.. Most delegates would prefer to go to there rather than support a dictatorship of war criminals in blood soaked Sri Lanka, where the souls of the dead still wonder the streets since there has been no burial, truth telling or reconciliation…
The CURSE OF KUVENI on the Sinhalay modayas is alive and well..

  2. I am glad that USA is concerned of Sri Lankan citizens and coming foreward to seek them Justice, rights and freedom as otherwise MR government would have further suppressed their rights after fraudulently impeaching the first ever honest female Chief Justice in Sri Lanka’s history.

Other than punishing SL soldiers by not allowing them training in USA, USA also should apply this travel ban to other SL government politicians and officials who are engaged in human right violations.

CHOGM ban will open Rajapakse eyes to rule the country with justice, equal rights to all and freedom of speech which are basic rights of a democracy.

    • Both USA or CW or EU should not have come to Sri Lanka if we have had a strong UNP opposition leader.

But due to ever impotent Ranil Wickremasinghe, the only UNP leader who lost 20 consecutive elections in 14 years is no more a surprise why UNP do nothing to help people and in Sri Lankan politics to challenge MR dictatorship.

The ever selfish, invalid and a living dead who lead the UNP party has made MR to do whatever he wants to do with the country and it’s people.

When JRJ the uncle of Ranil Wickremasinghe used his cunningness to win the majority vote and put the UNP in a strong position, Ranil is using it to get rid of top UNP parliamentarians from the UNP party, so that he could stay as opposition leader for life, while doing nothing to establish already downtrodden UNP party.

What a shame for other UNP parliament members to have such patience to tolerate this sick man as the party leader….who does nothing to people who are looking for justice, protection and democracy and the will to live from the cursed bast…rd MR dictator.

Both these MR and RW bastar….ds who are the top crooks in Sri Lanka history that are ruining our country. While one is Ruining and murdering people….the other is helping him to do so.

Both these crooks should be kicked out for good.

I shall thank again to USA Government for coming foreward to listen to Sri Lanka peoples grievences and to rescue them from MR dictator’s grip.

  3. It is time for UNP parliament members to kick this Pin Padiya Ranil Wickremasinghe away from the Air conditioned Parliament Chamber and into the street and villages to get their support to win next election.

Plese stop allowing this Baby face LAZY SLEEPING BEAUTY to give interviews to reporters in Air condition rooms and chase him to villages and towns to gather UNP votes and organise meetings for next election.

He wants to be the leader in an AC room while dreaming to be the next president which will never happen the way he work.

Get his ass into the road and make him walk six miles per day talking to people if he wants to be the UNP leader.

RW is the one and only cause for MR to be a dictator and now he has to show his true leadership by winning next election.

  4. We already have a political solution brought in 1987 in terms of the provincial council system and it is functioning well. The provincial councils as they are functioning at present is the political solution, nothing more.

The govt is not going to give less than 12% of the population over 28% of the land and over 66% of its coastline. The coastal areas and the EEZ is critical to the existence and integrity of any island nation. So for less than 12% of the population to demand over 28% of the land and over 66% of the coastal resources is absurd, unjust, unacceptable and unfair at the expense of the other 88%. One citizen one vote that is how it functions. Nobody is entitled to more than anyone else whether it is rights, land, coastal resources or anything else. Each person is entitled to an equal share nothing more.

If someone don’t like this then they can go live in any western country of their choosing and demand a separate state there. Canada has a lot of space, can make their demands there.
