Almighty Explosion In Almaty

By Kumar David

Prof. Kumar David

The outside world didn’t realise that a volcano was smouldering in Kazakhstan. Long standing legitimate grievances were accumulating and a spark set off an explosion. To that extent the background is like Sri Lanka today. Prices have been rising for three years, the income gap has been widening and the population in poorer Eastern Kazakhstan has been as badly-off as the majority here. Another similarity is that corruption has been running out of control. The spark that ignites an inferno is always unforeseeable and in Kazakhstan it was in the oil rich western part of the country that an uprising broke out last week. Large crowds then took over the centre of Almaty the country’s biggest city, occupied the airport and brought the government to a halt. The President, a dictatorial lout panicked, dismissed the Cabinet and sent out the troops. Over a hundred including about twenty soldiers have died; thousands are locked up.

The lower levels of the military DID NOT MUTINY though every soldier knew how worthless the government was (Anura Kumara Dissanayake please note). The army shot compatriots from tanks and machine guns. Any Marxist worth his salt knows that the principal purpose of a military is to oppress the grassroots in the interests of ruling classes and corrupt regimes. Armies are trained, drilled and brainwashed over decades to obey orders like robots. It is extremely rarely that it mutinies and passes over to the side of the people as in October-November 1917. A lesson of today’s international conjuncture that the JVP needs to assimilate is the conduct of the military, including rank-and-file soldiers in conflicts against the people – Burma, Sudan, many African theatres in 2020-21, and now Kazakhstan. One would have thought that the JVP would have learnt at least this lesson from its own experiences in 1971 and 1989.

Parallels between Lanka and Kazakhstan do not hold in many other ways; for example the military intervention in the guise of peacekeeping by Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. Putin is no peacemaker, he lent forces to prop up a dictator. A mass uprising that overthrows a bloody dictator in an ex-USSR country that shares a 7000 km border with Russia is poison for his authoritarian regime. “Order” seems to have been restored by 11 Jan but if order is not consolidated, make no mistake Russian guns will be trained on the Kazak people, just as the IPKF eventually turned its guns on the Tamils of the North and East because a part of its mission, stabilising the JR-Premadasa regime fell apart. The IPKF’s compact with the JR-Premadasa regime unravelled because nobody could manage the flames that Sinhala and Tamil extremists fanned.

Demonstrations started in oil hub Zhanaozen spread across the country when the government removed its price cap on LPG (now recapped) after people had converted cars to LPG. For 29 years, Kazakhstan was ruled by Nursultan Nazarbayev – a former Soviet CP apparatchik and a Putin buddy. Statues of Nazarbayev in the capital, Astana, renamed Nur-Sultan by his cronies are now being pulled down and current President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has instructed the army “to shoot to kill protesters without warning”. The leader of one of the invading Russian-led countries declared that the rebellion was the “work of foreign agents”. The way things are moving is ominous. A showdown between Russian troops and the Kazak people will be another bloodbath like Hungary in 1956, Czechoslovakia 1968 and Afghanistan 1979-94. But the Kazak insurrection is also a fly in Putin’s ointment that he did not want. With NATO pressure on his eastern front (Ukraine) he could well do without a “second front” on his southern flank.

Wealth has not trickled down to the population, who have an average annual income of less than $3000 though the per capita annual GDP is $10,000. Kazakhstan was the world’s largest producer of uranium in 2018. “It has the second largest uranium, chromium, lead, and zinc reserves; third largest manganese reserves; fifth largest copper reserves; and ranks in the top ten for coal, iron, and gold. It has the 11th largest proven reserves of both petroleum and natural gas” says Wikipedia. The new China-Europe railway pass through the country. Clearly the global importance of Kazakhstan is far greater than Sri Lanka. No one (India, China or the US) will dispatch troops to Sri Lanka in the event of civil disorder. However Kazakhstan proves that when conditions go beyond a certain tipping point a spark can set off widespread instability. With a rout staring him in the face, threats by the beleaguered Sri Lankan President to postpone presidential elections, if attempted, could well be that spark.

If the military takes over SL minorities will be very unhappy while most of the majority will be happy.

Another oddity of a divided nation held in one piece through military might and human rights abuses.

Only solution is one island, 3 mono ethnic nations.

In the Rajapakses’ Jim-Jonesque cult …….. when it’s time for cyanide laced Kool aid ……. Eagle Eye and Soma would jostle to line up at the head of the queue ………

I’ll be the one who ran off in to the jungles right behind Native Vedda …….. dodging Shavendra Silva’s sentries posted at the peripheries to prevent people running away ………

Old Codger, will be still hanging around, giving a rational philosophical interpretation to talk people out of it ………. “Do you really want to do this?”

I’m past philosophy …….. if you show a man a rock and he thinks it’s a tree …… I know it’s time to bolt. ………The rock has been a rock all its life, but if someone thinks it’s a tree, the fault is not with the rock, but with the man looking at it.

Why do I write nonsense …….. because it’s insane to write sense in Lanka.

I don’t know about the similarities between Borat and Eagle I however I am begining to suspect Sunil Hadunnetti is our celebrated Eagle Eye.
        Please read below:
India eyeing to construct shortest route to Trincomalee from Dhanushkodi: Hadunnetti:
India has planned to construct a shortest route to Trincomalee from Dhanushkodi after they take over the Trincomalee Oil Tank Farm, putting the sovereignty and safety of the country at stake, the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) said today.

Former JVP MP Sunil Hadunnetti told a news conference that the sovereignty and safety of the country would be at stake in the future and requested Mahanayake Theras and Civil Society groups to intervene in this matter.

        https://www.dailymirror.lk/latest_news/India-eyeing-to-construct-shortest-route-to-Trincomalee-from-Dhanushkodi-Hadunnetti/342-228925

        What is wrong with sunil?
What have Sri Lankan foreign policy and 1955 United Nations ambitious programe to connect continents by Rail and road got to do with bigoted racist Mahanayake Theras? Those were the culprits who time and again bring the most crooked, cruel, fascists to power. If this dumb fellow Hadunnetti doesn’t know it why does he think he ought to issue a most stupid statement.

NV, you are spot on! This is just what I said on 8th Jan in another forum:
“……..D. Poor understanding of major international players: What is JVP stance on India and the USA? Two countries which pump severe influence on our political demography but a pair unfortunately we cannot get rid of, so we have to learn to live with. How does JVP going to balance the relationships with Chinese camp and India/USA camp? AKD has not divulged his strategy with India/USA alliance …”

JVP asking Mahanayakas to save us from ‘Indian invasion’?? What a load of crap!! Shows how amateurish these buggers are of the international political dynamics in the Indian Ocean!! Immaturity at the best – Just like their toy wars in 1971 and 88/89!! Nothing has changed since! How are they going to run this country with this childish attitude!!

          Native,
Is it possible that AKD is the sweet reasonable face of the JVP, Prof. KD and Dr. Harini are window-dressing, while Handunhetti is the real ethno-chauvinistic core with some monumental ignorance on the function of refineries thrown in?. This guy is a throwback to 1989. Which JVP should we take at face value?

          “JVP”

          Native,

I really don’t know ……. haven’t had the time to think clearly ……. it’s just a gut feeling …… like Warren Buffett says, it takes him less than a minute to discard hundreds of companies ……. I won’t put my money on Lanka ……..

I feel, Lanka’s problems, more than anything, are psychological …… Lankans feel comfortable with some form of backwardness (I still am unable to pin it down) …….. that’s why pols wear backwardness like a badge of honour in the daytime and “behind the scenes” give their kids a “western education.” They know which side their bread is buttered!

SWRD honed onto it …… and many pols of all sides have used it ever since ……… all heads/leaders of the nation have played “Sinhala Buddhism” but what baffles me is why people find Rajapakses’ “Sinhala Buddhism” so much more appealing than Ranil’s, Sajith’s ……. and other’s ………..

The JVP, collectively, brings that kind of backwardness and some people feel comfortable with it. The JVP will be less corrupt and less two-faced/hypocritical than the Rajapakses (anyone would!) beyond that, what? I can’t see how a modern economist can fit into an outfit like the JVP – the inherent backwardness won’t allow it.

          • 2
            0

            continued

The JVP will be a less harmful version of more of the same ……… more of the same we have had for the last 73 years …………

I’ve seen from both sides ……. we are nowhere near the intellectual-firepower inherent in most of the “advanced” nations: not by a long shot …….. most Lankans, mistake dexterity in the English language for intellectualism …… in Lanka, the English language covers the hollowness of the “intellectuals.”

Without English,” look at how China borrowed ideas from the West and developed the country in less than 40 years ….. Vietnam and some other countries too.

I feel, although we talk about it incessantly, subconsciously Lankans feel uncomfortable with modernity/modern-world and find our backwardness reassuring.

To be honest, I find it comfortable and reassuring as well …….. but if we persevere in it …… like many other ancient cultures, we’ll be marginalised and die a natural death ….

Proactive change/advancement is a necessary “evil” of survival ……….. Teach ye children that, teach them well ……..

You, who are on the road
            Must have a code
            That you can live by
            And so become yourself
Because the past is just a goodbye

2, An even more Buddhist guy who uses a lot of big words but says nothing.
            3. A Sinhala Buddhist guy with a bushy moustache and a jolly manner, who kisses your babies.
Who would you think gets the votes?

NF, “….The JVP will be less corrupt and less two-faced/hypocritical than the Rajapakses (anyone would!) beyond that, what?…..”
Absolutely what I have been highlighting too! There is no doubt they are the least corrupt party and I don’t think they do any under the table deals with other parties either. Those are clearly great qualities, but are those the only qualities a political party needs to run a country? Their understanding of local socio-economic issues is acceptable but their focus on local, indigenous solutions are quite amateurish. I say that because they purposely delete the discussion about the massive international economic influence on SL economy since the 70s. Be it free economic policies, tourism, or ME expatriate income – they all have been huge contributors to SL economy in the pre Covid era. In fact, the primary reason for the current depleted level of Dollar reserves is due to the drying up of the latter two sources. Those along with their age-old anti-Indian, anti-USA attitudes haven’t changed a bit and seems they don’t plan to change them either! Their romance with China is based on their historical knowledge and ideology in communism but the hilarious thing is that China is NOT a communist country anymore. It is just an authoritarian capitalist country!

          Hi NV,
I always had my misgivings about JVP.
Their indoctrination, is overwhelming. May be AKD is different.
May be so, but does not make the Party, JVP/NPP to pass muster for governance.
It may end up as from “Frying Pan into the Fire”??????????!!!!!!
These guys said the same thing of downplaying the new track, laid by India from Medawachchiya to KKS.
that is the best length of track in SL, as I experienced from my travels to all parts of Lanka in 2016.
Good Speed and no or less “Buffeting” carriages at speed of nearly 100!
The stretch from Ragama to Medawachchiya” is the worst as if the carriages are coming off the rails at the speed of travel!!!!
Same old, Maruti/Bajaj and Masoor Dhal ’Parrippu’ story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These clowns, don’t think will ever learn, as they have prejudices incucated in them, and true “Leopard do not change their spots”!!!

The summary of Prof Kum’s dissertation is (1) In most localities where there are shortages of essentials such as food, public unrest can take place. (2) In good many cases whenever the Military is called in to quell public unrest the military will execute the task mercilessly. (3) He expects AKD & Co (JVP) to make note of (2) as in Kazakhstan. The third point is interesting because there are stories afloat that the JVP would work together with the Military for a possible takeover and there was a newspaper article in that respect. Though the current military boss is banned in US he is acceptable to both the Government, the SJB and possibly the JVP. There are strong rumors that Gnanakka (or the more Honorific, Gnanamani) has predicted that the military boss too would head the country. I leave it to the public to judge whether this alleged prediction has a similarity to the prediction of the witches about Macbeth and as to whether that generated some ideas within the boss. The country is so rudderless that even the most powerful nation in Earth might assist for someone to takeover, despite the travel bans.

You must know how dumb we really are, and how we are fond of shooting ourselves in the foot, hence your surprise, obviously you are one of them too.
      .
What you think you are practicing is not Buddhism, it is rather the exact opposite of Buddhism.
      .
Buddha teaches us that ignorance is our biggest problem.
His solution was to use our brains and figure out the nature of nature, how it keeps us stuck in the never-ending loop of samsara, resulting in endless suffering.
      .
A Buddhist tries to figure out how our primal or animal instincts get in the way of detachment from Samsara, and how we can use our human intelligence to overcome our primal instincts.
      .
Sadly I don’t think any of the so-called Buddhist or even Buddhist monks have the brains to figure this out. Most monks are even worst off than us.
      .
What we seem to practice as Buddhists is the exact opposite of Dhamma.
      .
You Soma are a very good example of this. I feel sorry for you.
Your cussed ways will lead you to slide down the slippery slope of Samsara to the depths of suffering.

If the majority are ‘retards’ , they are write-offs whom one can curse to one’s heart’s content, only to achieve nothing.
Has anyone bothered to investigate why people act in ways one dislikes? Cursing will not persuade anyone to change his/her mind.

Rajapakshe bitch s sons called them ” rathualipatiya”, so the stupid masses thought, what Rajapakshes added should be held above…. again got deceived as no times in the past. … if there was no JVPrs in srilanken polics fo rthe recent years, this country would have been a lybia today…… people are no grateful in our hell – ( i call it a hell – made by Rajapakshe – but i love my country when thinking about its natural landscape).

I have no doubt, many expected voters to elect more of JVPrs in to the parliament strenghthening the opposition.

Looking back, unfortunatly, whole lot of people were misguided by yellow pets and country’s main stream TV channels. There are more and more that dont treat the YELLOW pets today as had been today. I myself changed my agenda to offer them ” alms” in the events of PIN COLLECTION for our beloved parents. Instead, I now offer free meal to the beggars who are really in need.
Srilanka s situation is today no different to that of Nicaragua.

Is it possible that AKD is the sweet reasonable face of the JVP while Handunhetti is the real ethno-chauvinistic core with some utter ignorance on the function of refineries thrown in?. This guy is a throwback to 1989. Which JVP should we take at face value?

No Military didn’t take over in 2019. On the contrary Military never gave up its positionhold on the country since militarisation of every aspect of this country’s life started in mid 1980s.

I think you are experiencing black out about the country’s contemporary history. You seem to enjoy quoting selected events.

Hood Sense: Your conjecture is plausibility. For the last two years of Governing by Gotabahaya has proved beyond doubt that all the disasters that fell on the people are “Man-Made” starting from the “Covid 19” to the present day “Economic” failures. He has “Experimented” a militaristic type of Governing by placing the retired Armed Forces personnel in key positions in the civilian administrative machinery. In each of the Districts, he has placed a Retired Army person, much above the Civilian Administrator such as a District Secretary. Now the Army Commander who was heading the “Task Force” on Covid 19 has been assigned another “Task Force” level job of handling the “Agriculture” sector where the “Rumblings” are the greatest. He (Gota) has successfully “Experimented” an “Untimely” prorogation of Parliament and the “Posponetment” of Local Government elections. He has also seen to that, his actions are “Unquestionable” and “Undebatable” even by his own “Team” leave aside the “Opposition”. To act like that he has the backing of his “OWN FAMILY”, in that, “Blood is Thicker than Water”.

I think “Gota’s” Rule of Thumb is: Create a “CHAOS” and when the situation is “Ripe” establish his “Authority” on all matters of Governing. With the present situation, it is a great possibility.

Most Sri Lankans dont understand the mess the country is in. There is no way out of this mess. Mahinda has basically borrowed and robbed the country bankrupt. The Niveteya thinks he can sell the little gold and swap his way out of debt but with every swap we sink deeper into the hole. Sovereign bonds took a few years to repay. Swaps are extremely short term and have to be paid in months. How many swaps can we manage until this too is withdrawn then what? No gold no swaps no bonds? When a country goes broke whats left of its assets are auctioned off. The debt becomes so crippling that you cannot recover ever. That is what has happened to Greece and Argentina. They are perpetual paupers with no hope of rising again. Added to this the Gobsen supreme idiot that he is has buggered up the rice/food farmers. Instead of showing reality our mottapapla media organizations is busy painting fantastic visions with Gala dances and singing contests where the contestants are singing their hearts out for Christmas completely oblivious of what is about to hit them.

The politicians are a laughing stock. Even the Evil Sirisena who should be hung for murder thinks he has a chance. RW the eternal eunuch who cannot say boo to sheep carries on also thinking he has a chance while he drags whats left of his party to pieces. The actual UNP have let themselves be held hostage by a deceitful liar who has no intention of doing anything detrimental to the Rajapakshes. All the while AKD runs around painting castles in the air. No idea how he can deliver anything. The military rank and file needs a leader to stir up a revolt. I am sure they are fed up. If there ever was a block of fed up voters it is the military ones. Reduced to eating rubbish food in the mess halls with their loved ones facing starvation in the villages they need a spark. One of the first officers who should be strung up to the nearest pole is you know who followed by his close associates. Will this day dawn I am sure it will but we need a leader to lead them. Currently there is no such choice. Just a bunch of imbeciles.

No need to repeat here that the country is corrupt to the core which is the result of
long time Hard Work towards that end . It is now becoming obvious to any fool , I
mean any fool that the country is beyond repair ! Lies and Deception is now
everyday life to everyone ! You don’t know to lie ? You are surely not a Srilankan
product ! And you also have experience going through seeing how kind the Politics ,
    Army , J V P and L T T E since independence ! Is it not again someone from this lot
that salvation or liberation is either proposed or expected ? J V P can claim that it
has changed and done everything to prove that it is honest , during the last three
decades , fair enough but again , is everyone ready ? If everyone accept that corruption
is now in the blood , who is going to choose J V P to fight what is in the blood ? If that
can happen , then change can happen and change is what is needed . And , Change is
what is feared by those unwilling to change !

The photograph shows the picture of Gotabaya and Chinese Minister probably in the opening ceremony of the Colombo East harbour/Port City. I understand that there was only English and Chinese language name board. There is nothing in Sinhala or Tamil. It proves that now Sri Lanka is a colony of China.

Now there is also going to be Hindi language training for Sri Lankan Police, however hardly or no training in the Thamizh language which on paper is also an official and national language on par with Chingkallam and is the mother tongue of 25% of the island’s population and is the predominant spoken language in all eight districts of the north and east, the Nuwara Eliya district and widely spoken in greater Colombo Kandy and along with large parts of the North West coast of Puttlam/Chilaw. Who speaks Hindi other than the staff of the Hindian High Commission. Why do they expect the North and East to become part of Hindia and are gearing up for it? Even if this happens, Hindi will not be the official language there but just like in Thamizh Nadu Thamizh.

        Pandi Kutti,
“…however hardly or no training in the Thamizh language…”
        —-
Why should indigenous Sinhalayo waste their valuable time to learn a language brought to Sinhale by people who came from Hindusthan and settled down in Sinhale. If they want to live in Sinhale with Sinhalayo, they should learn the language of the host nation. Learning Tamil by Sinhalayo is absolutely useless. If Tamils learn Sinhala, problem solved.
Foreigners who go and settle down in UK learn English, in France they learn French, in Germany they learn German. So why can’t these foreign origin people learn the language of the indigenous majority. Is it because racist separatist GG Ponnambalam told them not to learn Sinhala and wait for the Dreamland Eelam that will never materialize.

Eagle Thaatha please explain who these native Chingkallams are. Half of them are descended from South Indian largely Thamizh immigrants who were imported into the island by the Portuguese and Dutch to do menial service work or work on the huge southern spic estates. The other half is a mixture of indigenous Dravidian Thamizh or semi Thamizh speaking tribes, largely living in the south central and western parts of the island who converted to Buddhism, who heavily intermarried and assimilated immigrants from the Indian mainland, again largely from the ancient Thamizh country( modern-day Kerala, Thamizh Nadu, southern Andhra, and Karnataka) and some from the Bengal/Odiihsa region of northeast India.

The Chingkalla language is a mixture of Thamizh, Pali, and Sanskrit, out of these three only Thamizh belongs to the region. The other two are from the plains of northern India. Therefore what is native about this? Chingkallam is a lovely language and very pleasant to listen to, as I was born and brought up in a predominantly Chingkalla suburb around Colombo. Therefore very used to Chingkalla speech, as from a small child I was brought up to be trilingual. Speaking Thamizh/English with my family, relatives, and certain friends and in Chingkallam to our servants and to many of my childhood friends. I studied Chingkallam up to the year 5 level. However, facts are stubborn, and knowing Chingkallam and Thamizh I can see how much Thamizh has influenced the Chingkalla language. Not only vocabulary but also the Chingkalla alphabet, grammar, syntax, and lexicon are purely influenced by Thamizh.

              Pandi Kutti,
“..please explain who these native Chingkallams are…”

I have done that several times in this forum. If you did not understand, that is your problem.
If you have time, learn the true history of Sinhalayo instead of trying to manufacture history as done in the Vaddukkodei Resolution.

What true history? The history that now Chingkalla Buddhist Fascists are now trying to create/concoct to claim the entire island for themselves?

Don’t you not think that Tamil we speak is a mixture of Sanskrit, various Prakrits, Sinhala, Portuguese, Dutch, English, Hindi, Malayalam and may be soon Chinese and Arabic to your joy.
What fraction of Tamils can understand unaided one verse of ‘akanaanuuRu?

Even 30% of Sanskrit vocabulary is derived from Dravidian( Old Thamizh and Proto Thamizh and Munda) It grammar lexicon and syntax are purely based on Dravidian. Please research. Both Thamizh and Sanskrit borrowed words from each other, but Sanskrit also borrowed the Thamizh or Dravidian syntax, lexicon, and grammar. All languages borrow words but borrowing another language’s grammar, syntax and lexicon is a big thing. Malayalam is a derivative of middle Thamizh and most of its words are from the western Chera Middle Thamizh dialect. Originally Malayalam until the early 19th century meant the spoken western Chera Thamizh dialect. Sri Lankan Thamizh dialects still retain many words from old and middle Thamizh, which Malayalam has also retained but is now not used in the Indian Thamizh dialect. Thamizh is the mother of Malayalam and a mother cannot look like the daughter. It is the daughter who looks like the mother. Please post sense. There are words derived from Prakrit, ( as many Sri Lankan Thamizh also are descended from the immigrants who arrived from NE India) Portuguese Dutch, and English used in Sri Lankan Thamizh dialects not found in Indian Thamizh dialects. However definitely not from Chingkallam.

Most people use low Thamizh, called Kodun Thamizh, which is described above. However, if high Thamizh called Chen Thamizh, is used or spoken it has hardly got any of these words derived from all these languages and is almost pure Thamizh. Large-scale use of low or Kodun Thamizh in many parts, and legalized by the rulers in these regions, only resulted in the evolution of Kannada, Telugu, even Chingkallam and lastly Malayalam languages. very soon a language called Tamilish( Thamizh and English) will soon evolve in large parts of Thamizh Nadu. If the authorities do not put a stop to this rot. Those days most Thamizh cinema songs were in beautiful poetical high Thamizh. Listening to them was a joy, as it was like listening to Thamizh poetry in high Thamizh composed to beautiful music. Now largely horrible music and Tamilish.

Next Kazakhstan is going to be Sri lanka very soon. But, it could be named as chinakastaan controlled by Zi- ping, and others, whilst Rajapaksas would be charged for fraud , felony, nepotism, and cheating the Chinese regime, but the average Sri Lankans would feel free the least.

      Pon Lanka ,

Kazakhstan declared ” it is all over now .” Russian troops were called in
and the protests moved back . On two occasions , Srilanka was offered
Indian and Chinese support to defeat armed struggles . In 1971 the J V P
saw , Indians came in to protect Sirimavo ! And then J R was given free
“Parippu !” And governments changed only through ballots , so far no
history otherwise ! I am sure , we are not going to create one either !
A K D announced in public ” We are ready if people are ready .” Both the
J V P and S J B are screaming to to get their slots booked in the next
election , whichever comes first ! What is that ” we are ready if people
are ready ? ” Not that cart is pulling the Bull ? What is S J B slogan ?
” People will come to the street ! ” Meaning , they won’t bring the people
      to the street ? Pathetic , isn’t it ?

There are clear signs that the PEOPLE are slowly realizing how mlechcha the siblings of Rajapakse are. They were were misled by biased media for their comeback.
    .
If u live in the country please talk to the very same peasants today/u ll experience it by urself..and I got to hear it from diaspora y day that they are so fed up of srilanka today only looking at the manner stupid Gota reacts today or just prevaricates in public forums/ some of them had come over to sl for casting their votes/ see how much the poor people have sacrificed. Most of them are unskilled workers from Italy/ Korea/and Arab countries. They kept much Hope’s on a person whose profile was created by giving a chance to fake perception through highly biased main stream media/ ironically the verg same media is compelled to clear the doubts today to very same audience without any shame
    Q
Mara/Gota are no different, they are have acted against Sri Lanka’s interests so many times to favour China
    UQ.
    .
“Post turtle” is the definition/ it s high time very same people to put Gota from its position to ground level/.
    .
    Enough is enough 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

      Thanks LM
      .
I understand that Gota and Co. are getting ready to sell off much of the valuable government/national assets in Colombo at give-away prices to foreigners, in the name of raising Forex to save the country.
      .
This looks too convenient to me!
      .
It is starting to look as if the whole Forex issues are orchestrated to facilitate the emergency sale of choice properties for peanuts.
      .
I wonder who the buyers are? Let me leave it to the imagination of our “Clever Sri Lankan Voters”
      .
Moreover, the CID has started inviting outspoken journalists and Internet personalities for questioning.
      .
      Wonder what will be next?
      .
The likes of the stupid eagle are ranting on from the comfort and safety overseas. How pathetic.

        HT,
        Thank you as well.
        .
why dont our yellow pets yet wake up from their ” hibernation mode ” ? How many more days would they be in their sleeping mode ?

Are SRILANKEN yellow pets double standards ?
        .
They ask for loans from China but missed the chance to go to IMF ?
        .
They have yesterday downgraded us from C+++ to C

With this being the reality, NOT a single PINGUTHTHAYA came forward to be vocal on today s auctions – if Ranil or CBK s govt discussed to lease country’s resources, the very same people along with powerful yellow pets would have gone day long protests.

Not Ranjan Ramanayaka, but GOTABAYA and MARA should be jailed for the rest.
If srilanken law and order would make miracles in the years to come, we could shed our last breath peacefully.

          Dear LM
I have to agree you you 100%. Yellow pets are a most hypothetical and subjective bunch.
          .
I think, Yellow pets maybe cashing in, on the situation, big time.
          .
Mara family are buying their silence with cars and worldly things (bribes).
          .
Yellow pets are the biggest stumbling blocks to our peace and progress. They mislead the people.
          .
Then again could you blame them, most of them are there due to circumstance.
          .
Wearing the robe becomes a career. So they give their allegiance to the highest bidder.
          .
They stay relevant by fear-mongering, which is not difficult as the majority have low IQ’s. We believe everything as long as it is a yellow pet saying it.
          .
Ultimately yellow pets interest is in politics, it is not Dhamma.
          .
What they say and how they act is a disservice to Dhamma.
          .
The solution to our problem would be to either flush out the yellow pets, learn dhamma on out own and practice true Buddhism or to not practice Buddhism at all.
          .
The bitter truth is that ether way we have to get rid of the menace of the yellow pets.

” Sun God took most of the rats to Nandikadal. “

So you now agree it was not the Sinhala/Buddhist armed forces which won the war but it was your beloved Thamby Thiruvengadam Velupillai Prabaharan who won the war for the clan.
