Audio: Deputy Minister Gankanda At It Again – Abuses A Woman In Raw Filth

Notorious Deputy Minister for Disaster Management Dunesh Gankanda’s violent behaviour continued, as this time he went on to verbally abuse a woman in absolute raw filth.

In an audio recorded clip going viral on social media, the Deputy Minister Gankanda is heard verbally abusing a lady in a language totally unbecoming of a law maker.

Play the audio below to listen:

The lady caller asks him “Hi Dunesh Aiya (big brother) good morning, you sent me filthy messages no? ”

Deputy Minister Gankanda then goes on to abuse the woman by saying “Chula, I will sort out issues with my woman. Don’t do fucking things you cunt. You cunt, you sort out your issues and I will sort out issues with my woman. Why the fuck are you trying to creep under my garment (mage redda asse)? Just because you have a fucking problem with your ass. You sort out your issues with Damith”

Gankanda

The woman named Chula in the audio then says “Aiya, I never spoke to you in filthy words, we are nice people, lets try to talk about this matter in a nice way. ok? ”

The Deputy Minister Gankanda then goes on to say very sarcastically “yes, yes, we are all nice people”

The woman then says “I will make a complain about the way your talking, that’s not very nice”.

Disregarding the woman Chula’s threat in making a complaint of his abuse, the Deputy Minister Gankanda goes on to berate her further saying “Fuck you bitch, who the fuck are you to call me and explain to me about your fucking life?”

“It is extremely sad that the UNP has not taken any action against their own law maker’s violent behaviour. This is not the first time the Deputy Minister Gankanda has displayed his behaviour in this manner. It is a pity that the Deputy Minister for Disaster Management is a disaster himself, I wonder what women in his constituency who voted for him have to say about his behaviour,” a social media commentator went on to say.

Deputy Minister Gankanda’s history of violence was first exposed when he racially abused his step son, calling him a “Demala Pakaya”, in translation meaning “Tamil Dick”.

A subsequent complaint was filed at the Police Children and Women’s Bureau regarding the verbal and racial abuse made against his under aged step son and step daughter.

His dangerous and violent behaviour especially when under the influence of alcohol, was earlier exposed where he is recorded to have assaulted his aunt, one member of the Ministerial Security Division, one of his own body guards and one female maid servant.

Next in May 2012, he went into hiding and subsequently surrendered to the Colpetty Police, after he bit the nose of a Tamil businessman named Diwakran at the famous Museum night club at Galle Face Hotel.

Further on just after he became the Deputy Minister of Urban Development, Water Supply and Drainage Board, April 30th 2015, he went on to mar his wife Kushani’s birthday celebrations at the Waters Edge, when he assaulted two invited guests Sumedha Gamlath and his wife.

Immediately thereafter he went on to also assault the birthday girl Kushani and his step daughter bringing the party celebrations to an abrupt end.

Meanwhile the Parliamentary monitoring website Manthri.lk has recorded the Deputy Minister to have participated in just 12 parliamentary sessions, where he has also gone on to participate in only two topics. His poor performance in parliament is recorded by his lowly ranked position of 186.(By Manisha Unantenne)

This shows how germane Prof. Jeevan Hoole’s complaint about the standard of law makers is:

It is time that the leaders of political parties started disciplining their proteges. Of course, they themselves may not be perfect, but behaviour as outrageous as this should just not be tolerated.

Maybe this man is one of the 25 graduates? He might be overqualified and showing his deep frustration with the level of the other MPs.

My fellow citizens! Worry, do not!
Our great nation is run by “esteemed” UNP & SLFP, since 1948.
When Sirisena is no more, the SLFP has other excellent candidates for leadership. Such as corrupt S B Disanayake & Nimal Siripala, according to Duminda Disanayake.
When RW is no more UNP has aleady lined up notorious Maria Kade Sajith for leadership. Sajith is fully-backed by Mafia Killi’s Sirasa & smart patriot DJ etc.
REST ASSURED OF A VERY BRIGHT FUTIRE! Cheers!
PS: BTW, forget low life, racist Dunesh Gankanda. RW’s corrupt & criminal UNP will never punish this guy or anybody else for that matter.

He must be a Para-Sinhala “Buddhist”.

The enlightened Buddha advised to avoid women and keep the distance.

      -not seeing them, Anands
-do not talk to them, Ananda
      -be watchful, Ananda

My learned friend on medical matters tells me that Dunesh Gankanda shows all the early signs schizophrenia. In which case it would best if he could seek medical attention. Those who care for his welfare should guide him in that direction.

Is there a Code of Behaviour for MPs ?
There should be one – public servants have one, according to the Establishments Code. Each profession has one.
This man with a foul mouth, brings disrespect to parliament, and shame on the nation.
The speaker should take note of this news item & video and write to him demanding an explanation.
Such procedure exists in state assemblies in other practising democracies.
If no explanation, or expression of regret is received disciplinary action should be taken against him, after due inquiry and recording of evidence.

Will UNP consider this as a serious issue? No no no never!
CT Editor: You say he yelled at his step-son ‘Demela Pakaya’? Is his step son Tamil? Does he imply that all Pakayas are Tamils? Is his Dick a Demela?

Type Sri Lanka The Code Conduct for Members of Parliament pdf: and you will access a 9 page document, which also includes Part V Rules of Conduct.

What purpose does this document serve if enforcers are deliberately taking a deep nap when the legislators are up to no good?

Why do the people vote for these types of thugs?

A 10% fine on their Salaries should be imposed on all M.PP falling between rank 175
to 225 at the end of each year, for purposes of record and status in their tasks, may

    Interesting!
Still the guy looks really handsome, so don’t dare to lose him to intolerance , unlike losing Getha.

The Demela Pakaya Sr. called Junior Pakayalet as Demela Pakkaya.

There is a saying in Tamils, (without prejudice to anybody) “Munthi Vantha Theevan, Pinthi Vantha Theevanai Theevaan Endaanaam”. (The earlier comer from islet called the late comer as Islet dweller”, For those who puzzle on this- Islet dwelling is like a caste difference in their Northern culture. So as per the Saying, the one let out islet earlier is assuming he is of higher caste than the one let out late).
Come on Man, Though your vocabulary qualifies you to become a Lankawe minister, you all are from one gene pool, the Demelo Pakaya from TN.

This is the essence of YAHAPALANAYA, thuggery, thievery, and obnoxious behaviour powered by ill gotten money. Every single Yahapalana Minister from the President downwards represents this culture. They should be hounded out of public life and the UNP should be renamed Disunited Antinational Party. DAP

As with Sri Lankans CT too wants to reverse every user friendly facility. Sri Lankans are known/noted for doing it the hard way. Then they attempt to reinvent once again.

We can now see that so called champions of “Yahapalanya” are openly flouting the law. Even if somebody records they will talk loudly, so that everybody can hear and record the offending conversation, whether it is a Tender Bender or verbal abuse. They take for granted that they are above the law. What about election promises of good governance or “yahapalanya”? Have you duped us to get the vote and then dump us after getting into the seat of power? One politician quoted that if the standard practice in trade is “Let the buyer beware” and in politics it should be “Let the voter beware”. One person of the labor grade have put up a placard in his garden stating that voting in Sri Lanka is confined to “Dogs and Donkeys”. To quote from the “Yes Minister” series the Minister says “It is not in my interest. I represent the public. Therefore it is not in the public interest.” All what I can say in short is that Democracy in Sri Lanka shows signs that it is in jeopardy. It is the present lot that can prevent that trend. Do these jokers want another 1971 or 1988? Or for that matter a 30 Year war? MAY GOD HELP US.

      Good Governance

Democracy in Sri Lanka is not only in jeopardy it but heading rapidly towards destroying itself and replacing itself with a Sri Lankan brand of fascism, a linguistic/religious/military fascism.

The foundation to create suitable conditions for such totalitarian take over had been laid in the 1950s. The danger is the saffron clad thug Gnanasara will be the self appointed head of moral police, the country will take turn to crown the three Grant Dukes of Mahasangha.

It can be but not necessarily so. A maniac will take over. Everybody will have one choice, follow his orders. At least in the present setup we can change the set of crooks once in say every five years. Not thereafter.

          Good Governance

The situation is getting worse, the difference between government and the state is increasingly blurred, the state is run by an inclusive coalition of crooks, thieves, murderers, war criminals, saffron clad thugs, theocracy, men in former/present men in uniform, ……………..feudal and tribal forces, narrow nationalists, …………….

The coalition of the various components are mutually reinforcing.

What a disgrace. PM should strip him of his ministerial portfolio based on his disgraceful conduct towards women and also his poor performance. PM said that his government has pioneered in empowering and granting equality to women compared to previous governments. Is this how he does that? Shouldn’t he first teach his Ministers to treat women with respect as a basic courtesy?

Everyone is overlooking the fact that President Sirisena and Prime Minister Wickremasinghe are actually very, very tolerant of people who behave this way. Have you ever known either of them to have taken strong disciplinary action against any of their party members?

It they had taken action against a few members occasionally that would have been based on purely personal grounds and not on any grounds of principle.

We should all be ashamed that our country has this kind of guttersnipe, thug, and no class creatures, who represent this country. No decent leader will tolerate such a vile person, or appoint him. This is no decent human being. He deserves to be behind bars.

Isn’t this a private matter and a private conversation? What does this have to do with policies? or giving jobs or doing the job? Are we all to expect and pretend we do not have Potty Mouths? Look at President Trump; he said we will bomb the shit out of ISIS and bragged about groping pussy and was elected President too.

Come on man, you are sounding like the National Enquirer more than a Political blog. This is salacious gossip. LISTEN to the tape. It sounds like a PRIVATE quarrel between two people who KNOW each other. If this were like Prasanna Ranatunge’s call asking for payoffs then it is POLICY related and this is NOT. Even if Trump groped pussy outside his Presidency that is his problem Clinton got a blow job in the Oval Office and LIED about it; therefore it was a public issue because he lied under oath and also he desecrated the sacred office and it was ABOUT HIS POWER AND POSITION AND NOT BECAUSE OF HIS PENIS BEING BIGGER THAN LeBron’s penis. It was about Clinton being President. If Trump gropes pussy now or gets a pee-pee dance from Russians that is relevant. If he got a pee-pee shower from Russian hookers when he was a real estate agent, that is another matter.

Therefore this does NOT pass the smell test. It is a PRIVATE conversation. This is salacious mudslinging of the lowest denomination.

You explained well a lot of area involved with conceptual behaviors. You did not touch coercion and violence, which are presence and the indicator of chances to potential power abuse.
There was something for Hilary to contest. Same way there was something for Monica to contest. Even after heavy pressure from Kenneth Star to come forward in Whiter Water case, neither Hilary nor Monica came forward to seek justice. I don’t know why the people are like that. But you need to accept their choices. So if this woman asks for justice, as this man is not a war hero, her case has to be recorded by police and inquired in a court of law.
Everybody walk on the road with their pants on. Not caring the words like this is like a person walking naked. Just because all men look alike, how many would be ready vote for a naked walker? I don’t know why the people are like that. But you need to accept their choices.
We would like Lankawe become Clinton and Trumps land, instead of equating America only when there is something comparable filth, but never equate when there is something as American pride.

To follow up, for example if a Gay VVIP in Europe, appoints ministers because of homosexual and anal relationships or people use their position of power to procure sex whether it is straight or gay that is a public issue.

Two people having sex, engaging in profanity or doing anything in private capacity is not. This conversation falls into that category.

But for example if in Iceland the openly and publicly lesbian Prime Minister Johanna Sigurdardottir, appoints very junior MPs to very powerful cabinet positions if they are her lesbian partners THAT IS A PROBLEM; If she has sex with ten women in her private life that is NOT our problem. Same logic same reasoning to this private taped conversation. You think people do not use profanity at all ?How about Mahinda Rajapakse? He used a lot of profanity..

There is every reason why we should be concerned about the behaviour of Dunesh Gankanda.

It is true that every government will have its Mervyn Silva type but it would be useful to know who it is who will go on to disgrace the nation; like offering to marry an UN high official, or publicly slapping a senior diplomat (while accompanying the President to the UN).

Moreover, our minister’s get substantial rewards from the public purse and it would do well for our leaders to understand that it is not acceptable to appoint those who would go on to disgrace the government with their inability to manage their emotions.

Alas, our political leaders depend on thugs and bullies to do their dirty work.

There is a Vaginal Prophet and a Virginal Prophet as per the comments above.
Many years ago when Sir Nicholas Attygalle was Vice Chancellor, a Warden[Female] of a Hall of Residence complained to the VC of the antics of the Men students in a nearby Hall and asked him to take suitable action. Exasperated, Sir. Nichloas told her to padlock their C….TS!
