Fearful Weerawansa Spills The Beans, Tells Exact Location Of Gota’s Mass Graves

A fearful MP Wimal Weerawansa pin pointed the exact location of the mass graves related to the last phase of Sri Lanka’s civil war.

MP Weerawansa exposed this exact location when he met the Malwatte chief prelate Ven. Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thera in Kandy a few days ago. He feared that under the new government’s policies the former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, his brother Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa whose self-claimed accolades of the war victory and other top military brass could be charged for war crimes.

Weerawansa went on to spill the beans in his attempt to create a fear psychosis among the prelate which was published in a video clip by Ceylon News.

According to Weerawansa, the removal of a military camp in Kilinochchi recently is bound to create a huge problem as thousands of LTTE cadres buried are bound to be unearthed. If and when that happens it is going to be difficult to identify the bodies to be those of the LTTE or civilians. This may create a huge problem as it could be alleged that war crimes were definitely committed by the government forces.

Further emphasizing Gota’s mass graves a fearful Wimal Weerawansa said “If this happens, the United Nations could declare the North – East as a separate country like how Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia in 2008”. (Janaka Ranaweera @ Colombo Telegraph)

      Malwathu Chaptor Rev Sirs,

pLEASE DONT ALLOW THESE EXTREMIST ELEMENTS TO RISE UP AND CHANGE OUR MARCH.

They have always been that way- for their own selfish games

If there is no unity towards a common solution against the longing problem of the nation – nothing can move an inch.

These men are the stones we the healthy people have to get out of the way with the time, if permanent peace for all SRILANKENS to be reached to their door steps.

Much more to be done towards achieving the goals through regular discussions with knowledgeble represenatives but with no radical performances. Udaya Gonthadipila must no means be our representatives – since he does NOT meet the criteria. His is far from all ethics and morals but majoratarians should be given superior treatement while all other come next. Frog in a well mentality that stagnated in the mind sets of Udaya Gamanpila andthe like men…. they have no sufficient overall knowledge about the world. Basta

Nobody has commented on the fact that this revelation could be a total red herring like the swimming pool that was dug up for MR’s billions/gold.

Imagine the Tamils, or for that matter the UN, running like mad men to the site mentioned (the camp) and insisting that it be dug up for the remains of their loved ones/the slain citizens, and then ending up the laughing stock of the World when nothing is found. MR/GOTA THEMSELVES WILL HAVE THE LAST LAUGH ! and a heart one at that.

Weerawansa can claim he too was mislead at that time. It will be a good diversion for as long as the hype lasts.

The day the rope would fall around the neck of Buruwanse is nearing.

So as was the case with Duminda De Silva and my prediction made about him in November/December 2014, I have no doubt in my mind, Wimal Weerawanse has to face it in the days to come. His nature is no means acceptable. It is a high crime to rabble rouse the nation not knowing or having the proper knowledge to do so – calling each and every step being taken by political leadership as – we are going to betray the nation/soldiers – to go to allow them to partition the country etc.

CBK: ““Buddha said that everyone is equal. So why are we against giving equal rights to everyone in the nation?. Our effort is to compile a constitution which gives priority to Buddhism and gives equal rights to all other religions and at least try to convert Sri Lanka into a semi-secular state even if we are unable to convert it into a totally secular state,” she said.”

How many IPKF bodies are lying there? (a sinhala tamil affair)
the action was collective from both sides and to top it the SL government called every foreigner who probed a white tiger. While no nation likes terrorist- freedom fighter or lunatic.
UN and Obama let it pass and they relinquish their `positions` permanently by years end- shape shape.
If you get a positive how do you identify tiger from civilian??
Or are you going to use it like the Jewish for the next 60 years hunting war criminals??
That would leave a bad taste and Lanka would be dysfunctional a bigoted nation and a problem for the world.

Critical thing here is when any grave is dug up, how can you prove without a reasonable doubt that the deceased was killed in combat or not? I’m not a forensic expert but there may be some methods to prove one way or the other. The other question is with whom lies the burden of proof.

Nuwan; Bullet wounds my friend. If most dead have a bullet entry to the scull or the chest area, these are executions. If most dead have bullet entry wounds all over and everywhere their body, they may have died in battle or a group of people were sprayed on with bullets. Also if people died in battle why would you build a camp on top of the grave? Don’t you think it is a bit odd. Also how many of these dead have no organs as Goat Parayapaksa was known to be an organ trafficker.

I don’t agree and it comes from foot soldier discussing about forensic medicine.

In most cases the police empty the pistol with half dozen bullets.

This happened recently when american cop shot a black man like deer in the park.
This happens even in the UK where the cop empties the pistol.
the Brazilian shot in the tube on 7/7 received 3 bullets when the train was crowded.

One bullet is usually a sharp shooter.
How many did LK get while he was in the pool.

    Wimal Weerawansa is a genius.

Remember in October 2012 the then Secretary of the Judicial Service Commission Manjula Tilakaratne was the victim of a mysterious gang attack in Hotel Road area, Mt Lavinia.

Everyone was worried except lateral thinker Wimal. To Wimal this looked fishy. How can a gang follow a person inside a High Security Zone, wait for him to park the car and assault Manjula? He called a press conference and proclaimed “Manjula’s injuries were self inflicted”.

    Genius indeed!

This revelation must have been made after he had a meeting with the Prime Minister; in the morning, just before he was summoned to FCID to record a statement in regard to the misuse of 42 vehicles that were given to his party supporters. His party Secretary and the brother are in remand custody over the same matter. The party Secretary has been bailed out since then; but not the brother. Now with these meetings with the Prime Minister and the Maha Nayaka, it is clear that Wimal Weerawansa is 75% off the hook. Have “Mercy” on us too.

The Sinhala extreme -lead by the Rajapakses and followed by lapdogs like neaue riche Beraywansa and the lot – have come to accept the finality the UN will not give up on War Crime/HR charges against Tamil civilians. That is not personal against the Rajapakses but to protect the integrity of the UN in the eyes of the world. An attempt is being made to give maximum concessions to the Northern Tamils – most land misappropriated by the army is now being returned, generous development of the North, Tamils are taken in sizeable numbers into the army, the Police and the forces, internal rule close to Federalism and what not. Even the once bigoted Buddhist higher priesthood now talks in more accommodative and inclusive terms repeating Tamils are part-owners of the land as the Sinhalese.

Forgetting the sordid immediate past, these moves should be welcome in the interest of the country’s future and unity. The alternative is chaos, disorder and economic ruin. One necessary pre-conditions of this welcome move should be the leashing of the Dogs of War – Gnassara’s BBS, Sihala Ravaya, the Ravana, Grease Yakas whatever etc., many creations of the Rajapakse family.

I am not certain as to what Buruwanse (I have no regard for him) said to Malwatte prelate and in what context. However, the idea we get is the camp is likely to be on top of a lot of dead bodies. Now why must a camp ground have a lot of dead bodies? Under any circumstances, there should not be unless we are told that the camp was built on land which was a cemetery or any other burial ground earlier.

My position is that even those died under combat conditions, there is a law in disposing the dead body. One can bury in a designated area for the purpose. A camp having dead bodies whether died under combat conditions or otherwise is a problem for the country, irrespective of our ethnicity, religion or whatever social classification. Now this coincides with the story that the military is refusing to release land to the civillians for whatever reason, inspite of the apparent government thinking as known to the public, to release the same. Taken two and two together it may appear that Sri Lanka has something to hide.

As a soverein country we need not answer to any body but our selves. There should be a decency as a country we should maintain. In that spirit, many wrong doings, say from the murder of Krishanthy Kumaraswany were exposed and the culprits were ultimately punished. The post conviction revelations by the accused of that murder were also looked into.

In that context it is not out of place to dig every inch of land concerned and to find out whether there are dead bodies in the first place buried within those premises. If there are any then the cause of death need be ascertained even if it is difficult. The heads of those camps at the time relevant must explain as to how those bodies were buried inside the camp, if there are any such bodies.

To this writer I may not be good because I am not going to play the game of singing the Wigi-song of genocide etc. etc. Had I written to say that we should invite American or UN inspectors to inspect the camps then it must be good for Mr. N. N. I prefer, as I have been through my child-hood days the values I learned in a Christian school, for amity within the country and strive for decent values.

Everyone must realize that there was enough blood letting and who died? Our own citizens either in combat or otherwise. As I said before, I demand from those in authority, in the same manner we dealt with Krishanthi Kumaraswamy and other crimes, we must look into this even it means digging every inch of the camp.

I will ignore Weerawansa’s comments totally, only the sound no substance.

However, people did not vote this government into power to change or introduce a new constitution. Instead of focusing on changing the election system, the present corrupt regime has embarked on introducing a new constitution. It is the wish of Ranil and Chandrika not the wish of people. These two dirty politicians have many hidden agendas.
These two spent political entities know very well that the new constitution will never receive, I repeat never receive TWO-THIRD majority in the parliament. I believe it should not be passed as it is a devious plan to keep Ranil in power under the pretext of an unfinished job.

What I believe is, first promised electoral reforms must be approved and adopted, secondly a general election must be held under the new system. Thirdly the new members of parliament, elected under the new system must be given the responsibility to draft a new constitution.

Ranil does not have a mandate to change the constitution. He is a conniving politician just like his uncle JRJ. We have been there and have paid a heavy price since 1977.

I always say that I am born to Buddhist parents when people ask for my religion. The way some Sinhala Buddhists behave vis-a vis the ethnic problem I am ashamed to call my self a Buddhist. Lord Buddha in his journey through samsara sacrificed his ‘ eyes head flesh blood and also his wife and children for the benefit of others making sacrifice supreme in his quest to attain Nibbana. Tamils living in the North are asking for land rights. Some Buddhists are vehemently against. Isn’t it against Buddha’s preaching’s to give magnanimously and get rid of all defilements. None of them will attain Nibbana. Let me quote from Gutthila Kavya. ” Ane Devdath noduti mokpura.”

Your thoughts sound to be nice – but politics should be kept away from the religion. Basta.
Politicans have made big failures over the years. And have even today been making further. Some mix it with relgions for their survivals and setbacks, since if it woud have come from a Sanga community, much easiler will be to outreach religious masses. Even if those as you say they become buddhists by birth, but most of them would not go against any statements being made mixed with buddhism. Latter is what tricky, divious, abusive, fraulent politicans such as Mahinda Rajapakshe makes use on and on.

Weerawansa is fortunate the new government is not like his mentors, the Rajapaksas. Under that government, Weerawansa would have joined the brigade of the disappeareds. The Rajapaksas will rue the day they thought Weerawansa would stay loyal to them.

I know Weerawansa is a reprehensible creature, but now is the time to grant him immunity if he will spill the beans on his mentor Mahinda Rajapakse as well. These two have had hidden their war crimes so well, this might be the only way to flush them out. Afterwards, may the Lord have mercy on him.
