South African leader Nelson Mandela’s name would be remembered for ever world over with great respect for his total commitment to serve his people with utmost integrity and dedication.

Whereas those so-called leaders hitherto produced in Srlanka has been a disgrace to the Nation.

And the name of president Mahinda Rajapakse, would be a just another addition to this irrelavant list of self-centered people (leaders) responsible for distroying the good name of Their motherland, unless at least now, Rajapakse come out of total blindness, realise the dangers he faced with and bring about a complete change to his style of administration sans deception of his own countrymen.

    Dear friend NV,

There is always reason to hope. We thought Mrs. B and her leftist coalition finished the country. But JR arrived and changed the
equation so long as he was in command. Our hope is to ride the tide with India’s economic growth while maintaining our identity and interests. There is space and it can be done. I have spoken to many for years who influence India’s policy machinery to say that. Look at how Finland survived and succeeded with nearly 75 years of tough communism in their shared borders. The question is if we have the quality of political leadership required to overcome the complex present to usher in a sanguine immediate future.

As the Bard sang “Hope flies as in swallows wings” Meaner creatures it has made kings. Will we be fortunate to have a society where our people may be fortunate and our Kings will please us so we will bless them to be gods?? Mandela came oh! so close.

Mandela fought tooth and nail to oppose apartheid in his motherland by newcomers who’d taken over his land. The Tamil terrorist took up arms in order to impose such a system in a part of Sri Lanka by ETHNIC CLEANSING on a major scale. Mandela succeeded. The LTTE terrorists failed. Both are excellent outcomes.

    MR please listen,

Just watch how this proven selfless statesman is honoured and respected world over. You and your family circle have drained the Nation’s blood to the last drop and the nation is dying and with meticulously drown up plan destroyed the opposition and the bleeding people have been rendered helpless.

Please let them recover and let live. You know more than any body else that You have shamelessly accumulated public wealth enough for generation whilst projecting yourself as a National leader, Please remember that you are only fool yourself. People around you that well dressed and and looks smart but all what people can see is your ugly naked figure dressed with red ribbon. You should know that you can’t eternally insult the intelligence of the masses at all the time.

Reasons are many for Nelson Mandela success and long life such as the IC’s help, fortuitous circumstances leading him to a long period of incarceration, need for the whites to have someone to negotiate with, most importantly the secular middle path to even violence unlike MKG’s extremist non-violence and the condoning of extreme violence of MR, VP, PP, and whole lot others of their ilk. Remember reading him stating that the form and content of the oppressed people’s violence is more determined by the oppressor’s form and content of violence. The last months of his life seemed unnecessarily prolonged for socio-political and economic capital that the present president of SA, Jacob Zuma with his 20 million dollar retirement home along with his many wives and/or sex partners and cronies to continue to exploit as a legacy capital even as the present political hierarchy and it’s ruling elite in Ceylon/Sri-Lanka continue to do from the time of our so-called independence from the British Raj in 1948.

Isn’t it ironic that the countries which helped Afrikaners to keep Nelson Mandela in the Slammer for three decades, have now become the Champions of Human Rights and crusaders to punish third world countries which eliminated terrorists and brought peace and safety for their inhabitants…….Thanks to Nelson Mandela’s peace efforts, the Whites have gone from strength to strength from all Social and Economic parameters…… What have the poor African tribes got?.. .Not much in areas that matter from what I saw in JoBerg a few years ago……

K.A Sumanasekera:………..”Isn’t it ironic that the countries which helped Afrikaners to keep Nelson Mandela in the Slammer for three decades, have now become the Champions of Human Rights” ……… It is indeed ironic, and its a funny world as well. ………… Vietnam and USA are best buddies, Japan which helped China to develop Textile industries are now locking horns. ………. India which destabilised this island has helped MR to commit war crimes and crime against humanity then your fellow Tamil P Chitamparam accused MR of genocide. ……. Many countries East and West that helped MR in his war crime effort now want MR to respect human rights including MR’s new found friend China. …….. It is not only ironic but hypocritic indeed. ……..

        Dear Native,

If Mandela wanted the War Criminals prosecuted in the Hague, would he have been a HERO ????…….

K.A Sumanasekera ….. He didn’t that is why he is not a hero but a great human being and symbolises all thing good about humanity. …. However he designed a mechanism by which guilty confessed to their crimes and in return the commission absolved them. ……….Cases have been brought to closure and the victim’s family whole heartedly forgave the war criminals. ……….. Confession and forgiveness are two sides of the same deal………………. Your petty parochial mind has difficulty in grasping the essence of this arrangement……… Even the great soul would have found it difficult to convince you.

            Dear Native ,

Confessing to killing Prabakaran and his Figting formations is not a problem for any of the great majority who enjoy freedom from terror and live in peace now.,,.Would that be enough for you and the Financiers and Pay Masters of the LTTE?….Isn’t the sticking point , the deaths of the captives who perished with Praba’s own ammunition and suicide bombs at the last stage scramble when they were trying to escape.????… And the Paymasters and Financiers want to pin the blame for that also on the inhabitants ???….And take them to the Hague for War Crimes???…Your White mates perhaps have one rule for the Afrikaaner Cousins and another for Sinhala Buddhists ???….

Tamils who support LTTE dont like the reconciliation but want Mahinda to be “punished” by the WEST who backed the LTTE directly and indirectly.

The countries cry about HUMAN RIGHTS did not support Mandela.

Sinhala and Tamil were originated from the same parent language of HELA or ELU. After the arrival of Europeans only the language based divisions started to grow up in Sri Lanka. Be happy to recognize both languages are the products of the languages of Veddas.

————-OLD KANNADA—— is still known as HELA KANNADA! Sinhalese too claim they are HELA JATHIYA!

Of Madela’s death, Prime Minister David Cameron led the neocon hypocrisy front to write numerous eulogies. He wrote: “A great light has gone out in the world. Nelson Mandela was a towering figure in our time; a legend in life and now in death – a true global hero…. Meeting him was one of the great honours of my life.” On Twitter Cameron reiterated: “A great light has gone out in the world. Nelson Mandela was a hero of our time.” //

But the Tories had wanted to hang Mandela even while he was in prison. But that was when Mrs.Thatcher was the Prime Minister and Cameron was pitching to become Prime Minister. Not just that, David Cameron, had accepted an all-expenses paid trip to apartheid South Africa funded by supporters of the apartheid regime to back their sanction busting efforts. I remember it well. On the eve of the apartheid downfall, and Nelson Mandela’s release from prison, when negotiations were taking place about a transfer of power, Cameron was still being wined and dined on a sanctions-busting visit. //

Today, the flag on Downing Street was to hang at half-mast. Well, that’s the extent of the Cameron hypocrisy. To add to insult Cameron ended one of his messages to say: “Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.” And he wrote in the book of condolences opened at South Africa House, ” … your generosity, compassion and profound sense of forgiveness have given us all lessons to learn and live by.” Is this the hypocrisy at its best?

Banda, This man Cameron is willing to learn from his mistakes. That does not make him a Hypocrite. If our Politicians would be willing to learn from their mistakes, and to give up their struggle to win the next election, by Hook or by Crook, they would be able to help the ordinary People of this Country to have a better Life. They want to win the next election for their own personal gain, by keeping the feelings of antipathy against the LTTE alive, which does not lead to Reconciliation. Forgiveness and Reconciliation towards His Oppressors are what made Nelson Mandela the greatest man of our Modern World.
