Ten Tamil Diaspora Organizations Want UK To Shoot Down Maithripala Sirisena’s Decision Not To Recall Brigadier Fernando

Ten Tamil diaspora organizations have jointly petitioned Boris Johnson, MP and Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs ‘to declare the Sri Lankan military attache, Brigadier Priyanka Fernando a “Persona Non Grata” for committing serious offences under British Law, abusing diplomatic immunity in the UK and committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Sri Lanka and therefore to curtain his leave to remain in the UK.’

The letter has been signed by representatives of the following organizations: British Tamil Conservatives (BTC), British Tamil Forum (BTF), Global Tamil Forum (GTF), International Centre for the Prevention and Prosecution of Genocide (ICPPG), Tamils Coordinating Committee (TCC-UK), Tamils for Labour, Tamil Friends of the Liberal Democrats, Tamil Information Centre (TIC), Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam (TGTE) and Tamil Solidarity.

This follows Fernando making a throat-slitting gesture towards protestors demonstrating outside the Sri Lanka mission in London on the country’s Independence Day.

While the UK High Commission in Colombo had lodged a protest with Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs upon which the Government was to recall Fernando, President Maithripala Sirisena revoked the decision.

What is sad is that only Tamil organizations have opposed President’s decision. Where are the voices of the civil majority that is looking for genuine reconciliation.

Such open threat of assassination based on a racial bias, racial identity now qualifies as a terroristic threat by international standards – not just plain murder. Thus the UK Govt has an obligation to either arrest or oust the person.

I hope we get some evidence that civic minded such as Dushy Renetunge in the majority community are not a mere voiceless handful who want to continue to remain pathetically silent..

Dissent is the cornerstone of democracy. The right to non-violent protest has to be protected.

      Dear Kumar R,

I don’t know what to make of you. It would be good if, like me, you were to unambiguously reveal your identity. When I posted the comment that happens at this juncture to be the only other that is displayed, no comments were visible. I guess that ours came on screen simultaneously.

Actually I have no HUGE quarrel with that comment of yours that has been the first to appear, and will so continue. But with this comment of mine, my clear and strong condemnation of President My3’s conduct gets pushed in to third place. It may go even lower down – that doesn’t matter a jot.

What irks me is the fact that you are unfair in commenting on what some very decent Tamils themselves do in Jaffna. My mind goes back, in particular to the non-appointment of of Prof. Sam Thiagalingam.

I don’t really quarrel with you over your stating that there haven’t been sufficient condemnations from the Sinhalese of what this Brigadier Fernando did, and of spineless My3’s acquiescence. Yes, he is appeasing the racist Sinhalese. It is not to see him do such that I voted for him more than three years ago. Shame on My3, and I hope that if Theresa May doesn’t act, Jeremy Corbyn will. The Butcher Brigadier (sorry, I can’t recall his name, and it’s not worth wasting time scrolling up) must be deported from Britain.

But please know this, Kumar R: although none of the front-line Sinhala politicians is likely to press for prosecution of the butcher, there are plenty of Sinhalese who will not be happy with this. How dare you condemn us all – given your own record, and your cowardice in not revealing your identity. I have stomached this and more from Chief Minister Wiggie and others who have written under their own name.

      W-H-O are you?

I am sure there are many liberal Sinhalese who don’t approve what the Brigadier did but they won’t put their neck out and say Brigadier was wrong and should be recalled. The liberal Tamils fearing LTTE’s wrath kept mum.

Here is quote for you. I am sure you are aware of the quote:

The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.

        Albert Einstein

If you read carefully various comments on this subject you will find a common theme, stop all public protests by Tamils in the UK at all costs, forgetting the privileges and rights the citizens enjoy there. Also you will find all sort of justification for the bad behavior of the brigadier.

Please accept my free advice make sure you relocate if he settles next door. He is an imminent danger to the people.

This soldiers behavior has created much heat but there needs to be some lesson we should learn from this. Though this soldier is in a diplomtic mission in UK his behavior towards citizens has displayed what lyes in the heart of a SL soldier, is deep hatred and revenge. Afterall these protestors are protesting against what they perceive as injustice. and they are only supporting LTTE for what it stood for. This soldiers behavior demonstrates the need for rehabilitation of the SL soldiers. We see army deserters are the main propagators of terror and crime in the country, they need rehab.

Oh dear Panini a.k. a. SInhala Man,

it does not make a rat’s-ass of a difference whether your name is Panini or SM, or any other BS – it is what you say that matters to me. Tell me – how is knowing that you are named Panini would make any difference to me or to anybody else here in this blog.

Or tell me how it will be helpful for you to know my identity beyond Kumar R. Would you like my contact details too? Perhaps even my NIC number. Let me know? Where do you want me to send them? – directly to you or should I publish in these columns? Oh Panini, where exactly did you get your education?

Let me ask you — were you a coward all the way from the date of your initial comments at CT up until today when some, magical enlightenment thrust out the balls that made you get out of the closet? Settle down, think a little bit, and reflect before you make idiotic, baseless name calling. Oh may be you are logically challenged with no recourse other than pathetic name calling.

If you have an issue with people using pen names or remaining anonymous (which incidentally served you well up until today, right?) you need to take that up with CT and journalists in general, who provide for that option. In any case, my name is Kumar – and of course not Prof Sivasegaram – neither Prof nor I have ever disputed that. What exactly is your point – aside from again mindlessly blowing hot air sans any sanity in argument.

(More to come, given the 300 word limit)

          Hypocritical Kumar R,

The following was your offer, in the posting just above this:

“Would you like my contact details too? Perhaps even my NIC number. Let me know? Where do you want me to send them?”

My clear and unambiguous request was that you post your identity and contact details right here, on this site. You have chickened out on that.

I don’t think that Colombo Telegraph will object to my letting you have my own e-mail address (or for that matter my telephone number). I know that they will not allow me to divulge the contact details of others.

If there is one jot of human decency in you, please send all that you have to tell me to this e-mail address, which is my proper, legitimate and rightful address:

          paniniedirisinhe@gmail.com

Please note that the letter “g” does not occur in that address. If I do receive a response I shall acknowledge that fact, safeguard all confidences entrusted to me, and apologise for anything unfair that I may have said.

        Panini,

        (continued)

Another silly comment “imposter Kumar” – what exactly do you mean? Who am I pretending to be or not to be? Or the stupid qualifier “hypocrite” – Explain why you thought it fit to use that qualifier – what did I say that you thought was hypocritical?

As for your painfully faked exasperation and rage in “How dare you condemn us all?” please note the article’s title “Ten Diaspora organizations…” The issue is about them challenging the vile, uncivil, if not terroristic act of a high-official of Sri Lanka.

Given this sensitive issue of civic importance to at least a segment of the Sri Lanka society, why are the several non-Tamil or multiracial organizations in Sri Lanka or such Sri Lankan organizations in the more general Diaspora community not voicing their thoughts on this civil/criminal issue? We boast of so many organizations championing human rights, civic rights, freedom of speech and so many similar noble, fundamental societal values, including the rights of non-violent dissent, a fundamental necessity for a viable democracy.

In that view, I pointed out that it is sad that all those righteous organization, having so relentlessly trumpeted the virtues of reconciliation and equality in Sri Lanka, have now, when the time came, chose to remain mute, aside from just the ten Tamil Diaspora organizations. Action speaks louder than words! Sad! Very sad!!

I am truly not sure why I a wasting my time on your foolishness here – but perhaps it is an unsaid solemn duty to help out at least one kavun-kanna countryman out his confused misery.

(I guess you will merely circumvent having to logical address any issues, and instead just helplessly resort to baseless name calling. I will not be surprised – I have seen how holistically you down those kavuns!)

            Part 1 of Many

            Dear Kumar R,

This response of mine may run in to many 300 word Parts.

You’ve offered to put all your contact details and NIC number on this site for all Colombo Telegraph readers to see. Yes, please do! If you want them, my full details also will be put on.

I accept what two regular Jaffna readers, have stated. Prof. Sivasegaram and you, Dr Kumar R. are two different people. I think I’ve seen a few other comments by “Itching Throat”, but can’t recall on what he he commented. Anyway, that’s not the issue is it? He says that he has carefully analysed what the two of you have written. However, I must ask Itching Throat to tell me who the “late Dr RN” is. One problem with you Jaffna guys is that you equate that Jaffna fame, with Universal Fame.

I’ve read literally scores of intelligent comments by “Agnos”. A very reliable guy, I’ve found him. He says that he has actually met you many years ago, so he obviously knows your full and proper name, which I hereby request him to provide us with. However, all in all, his obliging me with that seems unlikely – and in any case it is unnecessary since you’ve offered to provide us with all details.

Your response six days ago, surprised me, and now I’m beginning to trust you. Please excuse my having taken so long to reply.

I should like to tender my unreserved apology to Prof Sivasegaram (whom I “knew” in Peradeniya University) and to you, for embarrassing you both by equating the two of you. I hadn’t actually spoken to Prof SJ, but he was very well known and respected.

Both of you are outstandingly intelligent, but there the similarities possibly end. Once more: “I’m sorry”.

              Part 2 of Many

              Dear Kumar R.,

I’m too tired and sleepy to write at length now. I will just indicate that I didn’t ever try to hide my identity. I’ve revealed my name many times, given my e-mail address once at least.

More to the point, I have written three articles; this was the last of them:

              https://www.colombotelegraph.com/index.php/the-thomian-pharisees-are-unrepentant-why-this-matters-to-all-sri-lankans/

There, my name and photographs, taken many years apart! From that article there are links to the earlier ones. My detractors have thrown all that they could at me. See if they have come up with anything damning.

Obviously, I’m human, and have many faults, but the use of misleading innuendo and lying are not among them.

I intended theorising a bit more before revealing those facts, but never mind. I’ll try to complete my views tomorrow. Till then, “Good Night.”

              Part 3 of Many

              Dear Kumar R,

You have stated, above, that ” it is what you say that matters”. We start off by assuming that what somebody says can be taken at face value, but unfortunately, there often are distortions and misrepresentations. It saves us all a good deal of time,if we know who is saying what.

Therefore, I have always chosen NOT to be anonymous.Every couple of months, I clearly state that Sinhala _Man is Panini Edirisinhe. It is the same with SJ. We all know that he is Prof. Sivsegaram. Unfortunately, he also uses other names.

Dr Gnana Sankaralingam is a good man who often says silly things (my opinion!). When he responds to my Sinhala_Man comments, he usually addresses me by my first name (which was given me by my teacher-father because of a great Linguist who lived about 2,400 years ago.

Most regular readers are aware of my real name. That’s the only way that the average reader will trust you. A guy like “Itching Throat” is NOT the average reader. He seems to analyse, having read between and beyond the lines. Exasperating work. It was having got tired of it, that I cried out for your identity. It’s a simple thing to give us your identity, but you haven’t yet obliged.

It is not even the facts that you give that matter; every statement that we make has a moral dimension, and for that to be worked out, we must know who made it. From Agnos, I know that your bete noire is Dr Jeevan Hoole, DSc. He may have his faults, but he never makes a comment except as SRH Hoole, and his less controversial brother as “Rajan Hoole”. Makes life easier, allows the reader to make up his mind.

The fact is that I just can’t take what you say at face value. Sorry. Please reveal your identity as promised.

              Part Four of Many

              Dear Dr Kumar,

I don’t have any qualifications approaching a PhD, but I’m addressing you as such since I feel that given your intellectual calibre, like Dr Sivasegaram, you, too, are probably at that sort of level. If you don’t want me to refer to you in this way, please correct me. When one of you comments, the other doesn’t; I mean SJ and you. Why?

Unfortunately, when the two of you comment on SOME subjects, you lose the poise that I expect from people of your calibre. This is particularly so when you have to comment on Dr Jeevan Hoole. Jeevan does sometimes say what he shouldn’t: for instance about the women he saw assiduously soaping themselves in Moratuwa. SJ has repeatedly thrown that at Jeevan. Naturally. Staunch Calvinistic Christians, especially those classified as Puritans, just couldn’t stay off subjects of this sort. See the “Scarlet Letter” by Hawthorne, and the plays of Arthur Miller. I have even commented on how undesirable it is for Jeevan to dwell on such details. I don’t think that he can control himself when on subjects of this sort.

However, this doesn’t mean that he is anything except very honest, and since he appears more harsh on himself than on others, I think that you should overlook these quirks of his. Oh, it may be that you are more irritated than I am; but on the other hand, you should relise the tremendous pressure put on all people by our current politics. This therefore is a plea for you to bury the hatchet in these quarrels. I can’t help but feel that what you did in the election of the Jaffna University V.C was all wrong.

              Part Five of Many

Don’t we think that Prof. Hoole and the others in the Elections Commission should be congratulated on conducting the poll in exemplary fashion? Now, none of us is happy with the results in the South – and we all expected these results, including the the Three Commissioners. My3 wanted these held much later, but the Commission insisted on January 2018, subsequently delayed a few days owing to that Court case. This I see as integrity on the part of the Commission: I have not seen you giving Jeevan Hoole any credit for this.

I cannot expect you to handle a man whom you dislike with kid gloves, but don’t you think that you should be more balanced in your public comments. Some of your comments are ad hominem. O.K. Let’s say that you have a right to make them. But then, you should reveal who you are.

Dear Kumar R, although I’ve carried this impression that your attacks on Prof. Hoole are ad hominem, I may well be wrong. This may merely be the impression that I have. I’ve said much in response to your comments. You’ve told us nothing about yourself, and I’m about to proclaim that you cannot counter the pints made by me! I’m sorry this has become so polemical. I fee that thse discussions ought to lead to understanding, even friendship.

I haven’t tried extra hard to cleverly present my plea for you to forge a united front of honest Northern People. And I am tired, or this heat of Colombo enervates me. The Sinhalese have, after all, got to talk to people who present a United Front demanding justice. I await your response.

Your theory must be then equally applied to all Tamil Orgs in the UK and Tamil Politicians here in SL, After all those protesters were carrying Flags, banners and symbols of a Terrorist Org that have also according to HR watch, UNHCR committed war crimes.

Cannot condemn one without the other. That blatant hypocrisy leaves a bad taste. If these Pro Terror fools want to protest, let them start going to tamil shops in the UK who are selling Lankan goods, wont that be a good start????

This probably has been carefully orchestrated by the Rajapaksas using their LTTE man Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan AKA Karuna Amman and gang to rile up the gullible public into rallying round the Rajapaksas just before the elections…

And judging by the stupid public they have fallen hook, line, and sinker…

The timing was perfect to coincide with the local municipal council elections!

This is how they herd the sheep into little voting blocks.

In Sri Lanka we only have pseudo intellectuals and wolves who intentionally rile you up to exploit your impulsive emotional outbursts without you even realizing it!

Good wake up call to all you Sri Lankans who think you are great intellectuals…

Liberal Sinhalese are in hiding like their Tamil counter parts during LTTE’s reign of terror, afraid of being bronco branded as traitors. A small illiberal section of Sinhala/Buddhists are actively contributing to their usual bigotry and promoting their interpretation of fascism.

It is worrying how the fascistic elements in Sinhala/Buddhist society is gaining currency among Sinhalese by either defending or promoting military abuses as being normal, part of life or to be tolerated because they are seen as heroes.

This is a good time to revisit Martin Niemöller who said:

Why are the Liberal Sinhalese hiding? Are they also subject to a reign of terror by the SL govt?. Are you suggesting the SL admin is an equivalent reign of terror?

Oh! Surely then the Sinhala Diaspora should be alerted of this to get them to join the protest at the next SL Independence circus – with or without neck surgeons in attendance! Don’t you think?!

The brigadier is not interested in reconciliation as well as the ‘peaceful’ demonstrators who were waving the flag of guns and bullets and chanting the name of bastard prabaharan.

Both the brigadier and the demonstrators are uncivilised subhumans and they will never allow hardworking decent Sri Lankans to live in peace. Future is bad!

And please find out if the hand gesture is a Nazi/Fascist salute to his agent provocateur among the protesters.

Could you also find out why these people were out there protesting especially waving a ugly tiger flag on a very cold day.

refer to an excellent letter written in this regard by the Dy. Minster Navin Dissanayake. He says that his own father the late Gamini was assassinated by the very same LTTE!! And the Brits, whose closets are filled with skeletons of al sorts lift not a finger to stop these hooligans who may never have even visited Sri Lanka from carrying the militaristic flag of the blood-thirsty LTTE!! (C.T should print this letter)

There is much angst about this now, and this senior officer should have been more circumspect. Now its done. IF this Brigadier is declared a persona non grata, like the late R. Premadasa did to a U.K High Commissioner who acted like a vice roy many years ago, what will the GOSL do??!! Remembering the fiasco of Udayanga Weeratunge who thumbed his nose at the State, better THINK before leaping.

Best is to make every effort to reconcile as there are follies of serious nature on both sides. But we have to live together.

        Sinhala_Man,

Kumar R. is definitely not Dr.Sivasegaram. That was an incorrect assumption by Dr. Jeevan Hoole and his supporters, but I have seen Kumar R. years before Sivasegaram/SJ started posting on CT. Their writing styles, content and ideologies are very different. Both may have similar issues with Hoole, giving the misleading impression that they are the same.

On the issue at hand, I don’t know why some protesting people in the Diaspora still carry the variant of an LTTE flag. I have argued repeatedly in several forums that the flag shouldn’t be carried by protesters, sullying otherwise legitimate protests concerning missing people and war crimes.

The Brigadier in question showed his fascistic outlook despite his diplomatic cover; given the context that he and others of his ilk were in the front lines of the war, it buttresses claims that war crimes were committed. At a minimum, his gesture was undiplomatic conduct and the UK Govt.should ask that he be withdrawn.

Do you not see the idiocy in your statement? If Kumar R (that is me) wants to attack, why is he/she using other names? And even if he/she did, how the hell would you know?!!

Another example of your stupidity. Obviously you have followed my comments over some extended period of time. You have also most likely posted comments over this period. However, this is the very first posting of “Itching Throat” – correct? So, who exactly is using different names in their posts? How thick can you get?

I have attacked a total of five “doctors” in the past several years. In each case it was based on their inclination to prostitute (as Mahinda accused Dayan in Al Jazeera) their higher-education for purely selfish gains, deceptively masquerading as champions of social issues.

Of the five, neither Dayan nor Rajiva has shown any interest in the issues related to Northern University that Panini brought up here. The third, Dr. DR is no more. Bless his soul. The fourth, the Point Pedro fire-fly seems in deserved hibernation, spent of all fire. The process of elimination is a proven technique to get to the bottom. A mathematician, especially, should know!

The haste and the urgency with which you want to dissuade readers from reading my comments, some of which are carry-over (cut-and-paste, as you correctly recognize) only adds to the nakedness of your gripe here, noting that my recent cut-and-paste was related that poor village south of Colombo!
When you want to get out of the hole you are in, first step – stop digging!

I think that Sinhala Man is well intentioned, but he is a Tamil and a Tamil is a Tamil viz unreasonable, greedy, and dishonest. For Sinhala Man May I recite this with apologies to Galway Bay.
The Tamils came to Sri Lanka to teach us their ways
They scorned us for being what we are
But they might as well go chasing after moon beams
Or light a penny candle from a star.

Percy, may I have your definition of “being a Tamil”?

You start by saying that I’m probably well-intentioned. Funny, funny.

I don’t know the Tamil language at all. My genetic make up: like any “Maha Kalu Sinhalaya” I can’t owe much to Vijaya. But recently so much has been said about “recent low-caste arrivals from South India” (to what disgustingly low levels we humans can sink!), that I must tell you that my ancestors, as far back as I have knowledge of, “hailed” from the area between Baddegama and Wanduramba, which is sufficiently inland for them to have been tillers of the soil.

This goes to show that MR decision to have these above groups banned was correct, how they love to preach the law, the same LTTE terrorist who violates UK law and also implicated in the UNHCR report for crimes manage to ignore consistently these Terrorist supporter.

It was This Stupid GOV that lifted the Ban of these fools. But They dont have a leg to stand on these days. Bogus Human Rights Map has changed alot since 2016.

You are right Kumar.Civic societies should rise above the racial boundaries. This Brigadier had been immature in showing his dissent with the gesture he showed and this case should have set an example to others about respecting democratic rights of peaceful demos.I am Sinhalese and I have little sympathy for Tamil Tiger supporters but I respect their right to protest. He should be given some kind of reprimand so he will learn a lesson how to deal with situation like this .Problem is we Sri Lankans have minimal understanding of democratic rights .The popular notion is we are right and they are wrong and we act on that always .In that crowd there would have been people who lost their kith and kin and everything in SL.Simply because the war was over does not remedy their pain .We need to be receptive to their pain and anger or otherwise there is no hope for reconciliation .Hope our Brigadier will read this .From what we have heard he is a good man and he had been bit impulsive on this occasion. But he shouldn’t have shown that gesture in public while in uniform and no question that is “ Wrong”.

More to the point such messages will bring solace to all Tamils, and even to the Brigadier, whom I know nothing of. I’m afraid that I had been rather more acerbic.

I hope Kumar R will bear with me. That has to be a much more complex response taking account of what Agnos has said.

Forget diasporas – whether Sinhala or Tamil. I’m a “Maha Kalu Sinhalaya”, who has indeed been out of the country for seven years. But I’ve never been outside Asia, and once I returned from the Maldives in 1994 (with hopes high for Peace), I’ve not been out of this island where “every prospect pleases, and Man alone is vile”.

Among the vile, please count Brigadier Priyanka Fernando. My3, I still don’t want to put in to the same category, but he’s just lost my vote for this disgraceful soft-peddling of bringing criminals to book. I know that it is politically impossible to punish this Butcher Priyanka, but I don’t want my money spent on such vermin.

Since my pseudonym sometimes leads to problems let me state that this Sinhalaya proudly bears the name : Panini Edirisinhe

What appears above, beginning “Forget diasporas – whether Sinhala or Tamil” was MY spontaneous FIRST response to this article. The comment by the mysterious “Kumar R” was the only one that was later placed above mine.

Would it be possible for “Kumar R” to please come forward and make his bow, revealing his true identity.

He is a professional mischief-maker. And even worse specimen of human flesh and blood than the blood-thirsty Brigadier.

      • 2
        0

        Kumar R & other readers,

Let me emphasise once more that when I posted my comment beginning “Forget diasporas . . .” NOT a SINGLE comment was displayed, and I thought that I was making the initial comment on this article.

Of course, Kumar R. could not see any comment either, and he too would have thought that his was going to be the initial comment.

When Colombo Telegraph began displaying the comments that we had posted, it is obvious that “Kumar R” had beaten me to it. That’s no problem at all. This is not a “posting comments competition”.

It is to be hoped that ALL of us commenting here are sincerely seeking a way in which to reduce the miseries being inflicted on our people owing to various misunderstandings. What , by now, has become quite clear is that “Kumar R” is an extremely intelligent and erudite sociopath intent on creating the maximum mischief possible.

He attacks not only us, Sinhalese, but also those among his fellow Tamils who are trying to be honest and constructive, and he is adopting the most devious ways possible. He doesn’t reveal his identity – and obviously never will.

Let me scroll up to the space between his two comments in which promised to reveal his identity. What else can one call this guy except a hypocrite and an imposter?

Exiled LTTE terrorists in the Tamil diaspora are now peeing in their pants. Sri Lanka should publish details of wanted terrorists exiled overseas.
Organizations such as UN, EU, IMF, WB and some other powerful countries always attach trade, loans and politics to human rights. It is time we return their favour. Whenever these countries seek trade relations with Sri Lanka, we should raise the importance of them having LTTE banned in their countries and curtailing their activities against sovereign Sri Lanka. After eliminating LTTE from our soil by our valiant leader, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Sri Lanka started fast becoming the most important trade hub in the Indian Ocean. We should be tactful to utilize this opportunity to eliminate LTTE completely from overseas too.

Sri Lanka doesn’t need to worry about barking stray dogs outside the cage and have to take care of the dogs inside the cage . That means tiger terrorists and their sympathizers lives in other countries under those facilities , benefits and other things. They bow their heads and put the tail in between the legs and make false complaints about the country. That is only when they get all the above mentioned things and to lives in those countries and to get other relatives , friends and others to get more strength and to give the fullest support as courage to their organization and to create problems to make a bad image of Sri Lanka’s sovereignty. Some countries in the world that they show are developed nations and want to destabilize the developing or under developing countries by taking advantage of these sorts of barking dogs . Nothing to worry , keep the head straight and face the circumstances . Jaya sri ! Sri Lanka .

Still trying hard to get “included” – are you?

Anyhow, since you seem concerned about and knowledgeable about Tamil Diaspora’s head bowing and what they may be have between their legs, it may be good for you to reflect on what your wives, daughters, sisters and mothers may be having in between their legs or where they put their heads in the sex-starved Arab land – the Mecca for SL “porin jobs!” Ask the Philippine President – he will educate you!!

This is organized by the White Flag Fame New King (by uniting all these groups). The protest in now turning against that guys decision, rather than the abohororant sign language. Earlier, Tamil Solidarity, TGTE like few organizations only has been asking to arrest and investigate the goon in UK. Now all diaspora group are angry when the New King cancelled the recall. Noticeable Father Emmanuel’s GTF which had recently merged it with Yahapalanaya, now taking the hands of others.

So now diaspora like to see some kind of diplomatic action against Lankawe from Britain, beyond war crime of the individual. One do not have to tell that they all will insist UNHRC HC to include New King’s reprehensible action in the presentation about the progress of the Resolution 34/1. New King is not giving any damn about any of those, but gearing withful force toward winning election tomorrow. After all it is only LG. A stage world Lankawe is.

Sri Lankan Government should request UK Government to take action against LTTE terrorists who demonstrated in front of the Embassy with Eelam flags while LTTE is proscribed as a terrorist organization. Take action against Adel Balasingham who put cyanide capsules around the neck of suicide bombers. Deport all LTTE cadres who were involved in killing civilians and hiding in UK under false identities.

The entirety of this episode epitomises the monumental stupidity of those seeking to defend the indefensible, beginning with Maithripala Sirisena – who once spent several YEARS in detention for trying to overthrow the legitimately elected government of Sri Lanka – and the self-styled “intellectuals” of the Mahinda Rajapaksa cohort such as Malinda Seneviratne and Dayan De Silva-Jayatilleke. It is only in an intellectual wasteland such as our homeland that creatures such as this will be offered the space to present their vicious idiocies. I never thought I’d see the day when the imperialist characterizations of my fellow citizens as “yakkos’ and worse would achieve some credibility. But our “political commentators” are certainly qualifying to some of us at least to fit the worst imperialist stereotypes applied to people of colour. Who wants enemies when we have (self-styled) friends like these!

He underwent much hardship while being incarcerated for nearly 15 months, until finally released with no charges against him.”

Why is CT obsessed with this Brigadier? The entire homepage is full of articles relating to this incident. No one comments on the fact that these protesters were chanting and praising the name of a dead terrorist* (Prabhakaran) which is in my opinion just as bad as the cut-throat gesture. If these protesters can celebrate a man who ordered indiscriminate attacks on civilians that killed thousands and nobody here condemns it how come a cut-throat gesture is condemned in this fashion? Is this bias? Personally I find both actions (that of the Brigadier’s and of the protesters’) condemnable. Of course not everyone has the ability to have an unprejudiced opinion.

*People can have differing opinions on whether Prabhakaran was a terrorist or a freedom fighter but in the territory of the UK he is deemed to be a terrorist in the same way that LTTE is considered a terrorist organisation.

Majority of the Chingkallams descended from Demala and most of them from recently migrated low caste Demala from India. All Chingkallam kings and rulers were also Demala. Even this Brigadier Fernando who wants to slit the throats of Tamil demonstrators , just like what he did in May 2009, is from the Sinhalese Karawa community , and his ancestors were also low caste Demala immigrants from India. All this Demala immigrants from India now become Chingkallam and want to kill murder rape loot and slit the throats of people who still say they are Demala , even when they are demonstrating peacefully, as they are angry , that they have remained Demala and not become Chingkallam like them. This is why they quote stupid low class anti Demala sayings that belong to the gutter like them, proving their low class and low breeding, just like this so called war criminal Brigadier.
