Mahinda Chinthana is in full form duly practised by his brothers with no questions asked. In the process <\/span>Gotabaya<\/a>, a man with military experience of massacres and cruel mind set has snatched the powers and functions of his helpless brother <\/span>President<\/a> who has resorted to enjoying his position with frequent foreign trips, effectively being shut out in making decisions of implementing promises or undertakings given to various leaders and dignitaries. During the past the President has chosen the easiest and safest path of communal politics trusting and expecting it to harvest the <\/span>Sinhala Buddhist<\/a> votes in the next presidential and\/or general elections.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mahinda Silenced the Tigers with the Help of Twenty Two Countries<\/b><\/p>\n

After winning the war against the LTTE<\/span><\/a> with the help of twenty two countries, who trusted his promises of political settlement and justice for Tamils. His conduct and actions after the war were nothing but plain betrayals of the trust of world community. He and his family considered the Tamils as a defeated race and deserve only to be treated as such and commenced the process of annihilation of Tamils through assimilation in the north and eastern provinces with grand Sinhala and Buddhisisation programmes. The planner, designer and executioner is Gotabaya whose grip on Mahinda and his government is unbreakable. Gotabaya is effectively controlling the security forces and is the sponsor of Bodu Bala Sena, a rabid communal Buddhist outfit bent on degrading Lord Buddha\u2019s preachings of peace and non-violence. The monks belonging to this organization indulge in acts of violence and rowdyism which even the hardened criminals will envy and think twice to commit. E.g. Damaging and destroying temples and mosques and defiling their sanctity, butchering a Buddhist monk preaching peace and cutting of his genital part. These are the acts meant to protect Buddhism and its principles.<\/p>\n

Deplorable Part Played by the Security Forces<\/b><\/p>\n

The deplorable part of these acts is the active and passive support lent by the security forces who are supposed to protect the citizens and their property who obviously are following the instructions of Gotabaya to assist, encourage and participate in the violent acts.<\/p>\n

Rajapaksas have now laid their hands on the Muslim community who run businesses in big cities and towns and who live in clusters. The ulterior motive is to destabilize their presence and businesses and drown their prosperity and richness.<\/p>\n

Rajapaksas are Determined to Subjugate the Muslims<\/b><\/p>\n

Besides the sinister motive, Rajapaksas are executing the ulterior scheme of subjugating the Muslims and make them feel as second class or inferior citizens of Sri Lanka like Tamils. A climate of fearful obeisance is being created among the minority communities who lived in Sri Lanka well before the birth and origin of Sinhala language and the Sinhalese race.<\/p>\n

Muslims Flirtation with the Sinhala Ruling Party have brought their Ruination<\/b><\/p>\n

The Muslims should at least now realize that their flirtation and hobnobbing with Sinhalese ruling party will only hasten their loss of equal rights, dignity and self-respect. The recent unleashing of violence directed at the mosques, Muslim homes and Muslim civilians is a wake up call and clearly a writing on the wall. The solemn duty now lies on them to expose Rajapaksas and carry the messages to Muslim countries and UN to isolate Sri Lanka and punish the involved state criminals and blood letting monks. <\/b><\/p>\n

Rajapaksa is Notorious for Cheating and Making False Promises<\/b><\/p>\n

Rajapaksa is notorious for cheating and famous for cheap and hollow promises. His recent instruction to Police Chief to arrest the criminals made in front of the self-interest seeking Muslim ministers, is just another example of an unworthy and dishonest leader. This is not a surprise, as his promises and undertakings made since May 2009 have been consigned to dust bin for recycling. Not one arrest has been made so far.<\/p>\n

It is Heartening to Watch Responsible Muslim Citizens Rising to Revolt against the Sinhala Regime<\/b><\/p>\n

It is heartening to note the angry response from responsible Muslim citizens living in the north and east as well as abroad. In this respect, TNA and Tamils raising their voices in support of the Muslims is fitting and deserved to be co-ordinated with the Muslims to act in unison. Tamils and Muslims are well aware that Rajapakses have let loose war criminals, thugs, yellow robed hooligans and other anti-social elements to continue their onslaught and rampage against the Tamils and Muslims, mosques, churches and temples, homes and business establishments. No one is safe as no criminal will face any punishment or justice from courts as the arrested are already released.<\/p>\n

Sri Lanka is in the State of Lawlessness<\/b><\/p>\n

Rajapaksas have made Sri Lanka, as a state of lawlessness and sooner or later one can predict their falling victims to this monster of lawlessness created by them. The common bond existing between Muslims and Tamils is the Tamil language which is their mother tongue. Muslims have identified more with the Tamils as their habitual residences are found in the northern and eastern provinces. Hindu or Christian Tamils and Sinhalese have never preached hatred nor targeted their religion and culture. Though some unfortunate incidents have happened in the past due to misconceptions and ill-conceived ideas, the past has to give way to the present and future to save the existence of the Tamils and Muslims who are jointly targeted by the gang of four brutal brothers who are directing and executing their evil schemes through pseudo yellow robed mercenary monks who are insulting Buddhism as well as disgracing Lord Buddha.<\/p>\n

Muslims and Tamils must show United Resistance to save them from Sinhala Chauvanism<\/b><\/p>\n

In this situation, a united and unified resistance and sustained campaign by Muslims and Tamils can only stop the march of destructive chauvanism and racism unleashed against the minorities by a racist, dictatorial regime of Rajapaksas.<\/p>\n
