I&#8217;m sure everyone knows. But I can&#8217;t comment at this stage. I&#8217;m a professional\u2026&#8221;- Dr Nonis to #News1st<\/p>\n<p>Colombo Telegraph was the first to expose the assault on Nonis by the Monitoring MP for External Affairs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/?s=Sajin+Vass+Gunawardena&amp;x=10&amp;y=5\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sajin Vass<\/span><\/a> in the presence of the Eternal Affairs Ministry Secretary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/?s=Kshenuka+Senewiratne&amp;x=8&amp;y=4\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Kshenuka Senwiratne<\/span><\/a> and it was further revealed by Colombo Telegraph, of the immediate steps that was taken by President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/?s=Mahinda+Rajapaksa&amp;x=11&amp;y=1\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Rajapaksa<\/span><\/a> to impose a state and private media blackout on the incident soon after his return to Colombo from New York.<\/p>\n<p>Despite his attempts however the story was eventually reported in local media but all of the news reports have withheld from naming the Sajin Vass.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\"><p>&#8220;I can&#8217;t comment.
