Tissa Attanayake<\/span><\/a> has been arrested and is currently being interrogated by the\u00a0Criminal Investigation Department.<\/p>\n

Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana told media that Attanayake who was the former UNP General Secretary and former Health Minister during the final months of the Rajapaksa regime, is being questioned on the forged document which he released to the media during the Presidential poll campaigning period claiming it is evidence of the plan being hatched by President Maithripala Sirisena and PM Ranil Wickremesighe to put state security at risk.<\/p>\n

He has been remanded till February 11.<\/p>\n
