However, due to poor quality of the image as it had happened during night time local experts said they couldn\u2019t come to a conclusion, and had adviced that Sri Lanka seeks assistance from a forensic laboratory overseas which had the equipment to verify such unclear visuals.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequent to this observation, on January 7, Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Pieris had given the green light for the CID to seek assistance from foreign experts which may help determine the cause behind Thajudeen\u2019s death, in which former President Mahinda Rajapaksa\u2019s sons are allegedly involved, however it is learnt that even though it its almost 5 weeks since the order had been given, the CID is yet to dispatch the footage overseas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":22,"featured_media":154153,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[3,2186,1,2375],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-157648","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-colombotelegraph","category-featured-news","category-news","category-stories"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.3 -
