Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare S.B Dissanayake<\/span><\/a> today declared that only President Maithripala Sirisena can solve the problems faced by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, and his family, and therefore, Rajapaksa should take a back seat and extend his support to Sirisena, without being greedy for power.<\/p>\n

\"SB<\/a>\u201cIf he genuinely is concern about the SLFP and the members, he should stop being greedy for power and support President Maithripala Sirisena. But it doesn\u2019t look like this will happen,\u201d Dissanayake told a meeting held in Battaramulla today.<\/p>\n

Dissanayake also said that that only President Sirisena had the power to solve the problems of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and his family. \u201cMahinda Rajapaksa must understand this and take a backseat, and support President Sirisena.
