The notebook had reportedly contained numbers of vehicles that had been following Wickrematunge prior to his assassination.<\/p>\n<p>During an earlier questioning, ex-IGP Wickramaratne had claimed that he had no knowledge about the notebook, although it is believed that during former President Mahinda Rajapaksa\u2019s term, several attempts were made to suppress the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, the CID arrested a Sergeant Major attached to the Army Intelligence Unit in connection to the murder.
