{"id":167930,"date":"2016-09-21T23:00:52","date_gmt":"2016-09-21T17:30:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/?p=167930"},"modified":"2016-09-25T15:27:28","modified_gmt":"2016-09-25T09:57:28","slug":"with-a-little-political-backing-we-can-end-the-rise-of-muslims-gnanasara-who-wishes-to-emulate-prabhakaran-declares","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/index.php\/with-a-little-political-backing-we-can-end-the-rise-of-muslims-gnanasara-who-wishes-to-emulate-prabhakaran-declares\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cWith A Little Political Backing We Can End The Rise Of Muslims\u201d, Gnanasara Who Wishes To Emulate Prabhakaran Declares"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Controversial Buddhist Monk <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/?s=Galagoda+Atte+Gnanasara&amp;x=12&amp;y=4\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Galagoda Atte Gnanasara<\/span><\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/?s=Bodu+Bala+Sena&amp;x=11&amp;y=5\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Bodu Bala Sena<\/span><\/a> (BBS) has declared that if he and his group had a \u2018little\u2019 political backing then they can end the rise of the Muslims in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at an event recently in Korea where he addressed the Sri Lankans living there, Gnanasara also revealed how he systematically devised a successful plan to virtually destroy and abandon a Muslim town in Kuliyapitiya. \u201cSometimes, I feel like taking a T-56 and do what Prabhakaran did, but I can\u2019t do it because I am in robes,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/68Qwu6y4k10?rel=0\" width=\"639\" height=\"357\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have more than 6000 to 7000 of our women who have converted to Islam after marrying Muslims. When we marry a Tamil or someone else we don\u2019t get them to change their names, but when a Muslim fellow marries one of our women, then she is forced to become a Fathima and all the babies become Mohammeds. We must stop this,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Gnanasara said that this was a dangerous trend. \u201cOur politicians are only greedy for power, they are ready to sacrifice for the party but not ready to do anything for the country. If these politicians only gave us a little backing we can end the rise of the Muslims,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking further he said that there was a Muslim town which was located amongst Sinhalese villages. \u201cBut we systematically devised a plan over a year and today it is infested only with flies, no one else goes there,\u201d a laughing Gnanasara said.<\/p>\n<p>Elaborating further he said that the Muslim town was well off because the people in the town had money and they tried to take ownership of a playground in the area. \u201cFrom the Sinhala village, a few old ladies had gone to sell their vegetable crop to a Muslim Mudalali in the town, but the Muslim Mudalali refused to buy saying that because they were not given the playground, the mosque had ordered them not to buy anything from the Sinhalese.
