{"id":170704,"date":"2016-11-21T12:25:38","date_gmt":"2016-11-21T06:55:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/?p=170704"},"modified":"2016-11-21T12:25:38","modified_gmt":"2016-11-21T06:55:38","slug":"new-constitution-report-of-the-sub-committee-on-fundamental-rights-full-texts-in-three-languages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/index.php\/new-constitution-report-of-the-sub-committee-on-fundamental-rights-full-texts-in-three-languages\/","title":{"rendered":"New Constitution: Report Of The Sub-Committee On Fundamental Rights \u2013 Full Texts In Three Languages"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Report of the Sub-committee on Fundamental Rights\u00a0has been submitted to the Constitutional Assembly for its consideration with the other five sub-committees reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Prime Minister\u2019s office sources, six sub-committees were appointed by the Constitutional Assembly to make recommendations on the areas of Fundamental Rights, Judiciary, Finance, Law &amp; Order, Public Service and Centre-Periphery Relations. The Reports have not, as yet, been considered by the Steering Committee. The Reports of the sub-committees are submitted for the consideration of the Constitutional Assembly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile there have been many similar recommendations in respect of several important areas, as is inevitable, the Reports of the sub-committees contain overlapping proposals as well as differing proposals on certain aspects. The Steering Committee will consider the sub-committee reports and the views expressed thereon, in preparing its Final Report.\u201d the Prime Minister\u2019s office sources said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To
