The Reports have not, as yet, been considered by the Steering Committee. The Reports of the sub-committees are submitted for the consideration of the Constitutional Assembly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile there have been many similar recommendations in respect of several important areas, as is inevitable, the Reports of the sub-committees contain overlapping proposals as well as differing proposals on certain aspects. The Steering Committee will consider the sub-committee reports and the views expressed thereon, in preparing its Final Report.\u201d the Prime Minister\u2019s office sources said.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 101\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>The sub-committee on Law and Order, Public Security, Emergency comprised of the following members of Parliament:\u00a0Sagala Ratnayake (Chairman), W.D.J. Senewiratne,\u00a0Palany Thigambaram,\u00a0Ameer Ali Shihabdeen, Ajith Perera,\u00a0Douglas Devananda, Anura Dissanayake, M.S. Thowfeek,\u00a0Mavai S.
