After evading arrest for nearly a month, Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagoda Atte Gnanasara<\/a> surrendered to the Colombo Fort Magistrates court this morning.<\/p>\n

Two arrest warrants were issued against the firebrand monk, one in May 25 on charges of inciting religious disharmony and another warrant was issued by the Fort Magistrate last week after Gnanasara failed to appear in court’s over a contempt of court issue. Gnanasara has been evading arrest and has been hiding claiming that there is a conspiracy to assassinate him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
