State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson in response to what they claim was \u2018defamatory correspondence received from Navin Dissanayake,\u2019 with regard to the controversy surrounding Sri Lanka\u2019s Minister Counsellor (Defence) Brigadier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/?s=Priyankara+Fernando\">Priyanka Fernando<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The two MPs, while taking objection to Dissanayake\u2019s claims and his \u2018belligerent tone\u2019 which they believe \u2018is deeply disrespectful towards UK citizens and Members of Parliament,\u2019 have reiterated a demand for the withdrawal of Brigadier Fernando\u2019s diplomatic papers and expel him.<\/p>\n<p>The letter is as follows:<a
