Ananda Kumarasiri.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Maithripala-Sirisena.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-190419\" src=\"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Maithripala-Sirisena.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"454\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Maithripala-Sirisena.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Maithripala-Sirisena-300x213.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a>Kumarasiri, received 97 votes while Fernandopulle got only 53 votes. One vote was rejected. The Joint Opposition backed Fernandopulle while the TNA and JVP abstained.
