Brigadier Priyanka Fernando<\/strong><\/a>, a senior officer of Sri Lanka Army, has been found guilty of two of three offences under Public Order Act by signalling a death threat to Tamil protestors on February 04, last year.<\/p>\n

The Westminster Magistrate Court issued an arrest warrant on Fernando ruling that his actions were threatening, caused harassment, and that he intended them to be so.<\/p>\n

Following this judgement an international arrest warrant is likely to be issued for Sri Lanka\u2019s ex defence attache Brigadier Priyanka Fernando. If the Sri Lankan government refuses to cooperate, its High Commissioner in London will be summoned to appear before the Court, informed sources said.<\/p>\n
