Minister Samaraweera, however, said that Charles was removed as the revenue from the department plummeted under her watch.<\/p>\n<p>Some of these containers had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/index.php\/charles-removal-linked-to-probe-on-143-containers-mangalas-coordinating-secretary-finance-min-secretary-have-given-unlawful-orders-sirisena-stirring-up-issues-behind-the-scenes\/\"><strong>direct links to Thusitha Halloluwa<\/strong><\/a>, a Coordinating Secretary of Finance and Media Minister Mangala Samaraweera, the subject minister of the Customs Department.
