Ultra nationalist politico Wimal Weerawansa<\/a><\/strong> has called for the annihilation of wombs that create Wahabism and suicide bombers, as he spoke to journalists following visit to Mahanayakas in Kandy.<\/p>\n

MP Weerawansa speaking to media in Kandy yesterday – one of the holiest cities of Sri Lankan Buddhists – said, destroying wombs that nurture Wahhabism<\/a> and suicide bombers, is the way to counter the threat of Islamic extremism.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is clear to see from Kurunegala doctor\u2019s issue that this is not an isolated incident – several similar issues have been reported from various parts of the country. It also shows that this was a well organized operation that had extended to barbaric, extreme lengths,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Weerawansa said therefore, politicians should not play hide and seek with lives of future generations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThings that need to be prohibited, have to be done. Wombs that create suicide bombers must be destroyed. The Muslim community too has a responsibility in fighting this because it is within their community, that this womb has surfaced,\u201d he said adding, \u201cKilling an unborn life is worse than even ending 300\/400 lives with a suicide bomb!\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile he also went on to state that although now is not an apt time to think of Presidential candidates, it is clear to see that people\u2019s call for a Gotabaya Rajapaksa Presidency is growing.<\/p>\n
