He told the PSC that they have not yet even received the Government analyst report on the motorcycle explosion that occurred in Kattankudy and going by the crime scene, they were only able to confirm that it was an man-made explosion.<\/p>\n<p>He told Courts that the initial warning was issued to both Pujith and Hemasiri on April 4 and thereafter on April 18. On April 19th the SIS Chief forwarded another letter to both Pujith and Hemasiri as well as a Whatsapp message on the impending attacks on April 20th.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRepeated warnings were shared by the intelligence services, but these two individuals did not take adequate action to prevent it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Pujith and Hemasiri were arrested by the CID on Tuesday after Attorney General Dappula De Livera issued instructions for the duo to be arrested as suspects who aided the Easter Sunday bombings and the subsequent loss of lives and property damage.<\/p>\n<p>Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne remanded the duo until July 9 and ordered the suspects to be produced before courts that day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":22,"featured_media":203079,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[3,2186,1,2375],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-203106","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-colombotelegraph","category-featured-news","category-news","category-stories"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.3 -
