Greek mythology informs us that Zeus is the king of all the gods (called Jupiter, in Roman mythology). Aphrodite (Venus) as goddess of beauty and love. The triad trace their messengers to the first two sons of the patriarch Abraham, namely Ishmael and Isaac. The advent of Prophet Abraham, one of the early Monotheists (Tawheed) was circa 4000 years ago. The covenant of God with Abraham was that He alone was to be the God to Abraham and his offspring.

“I will establish My covenant as an everlasting covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.” (Bible, Genesis 17:7).

As can be seen, the above covenant to worship one God was binding on the descendants of Abraham as well. They were his sons Ishmael and Isaac and their progeny. It is following this that the Jews and Christians take the lineage of his second son Isaac – the teachings of Prophet Moses, the Torah and Prophet Jesus, the Gospels. For the Arabs, his elder son Ishmael was the bearer of the message of the worship of One God, the concept of Tawheed. The Talmud reports the following laws (cf. Genesis Rabbah 34:8). They are:

1. Do establish laws.

2.
