Court of Appeal in Sweden heard that Asian Tribune<\/a> is closely associated with the Sri Lankan government, its undercover agents and Sri Lankan Military Intelligence Services.<\/p>\n

Capt SK Ranatunga, who came from Sri Lanka, said that he is from the Sri Lanka\u2019s Defence Unit and his official boss Prof. Rohan Gunaratna had advised him to appear as a witness who working on Intelligence and Terror research matter,<\/p><\/div>\n

KT Rajasingham called on former Director of Military Intelligence Brig.Kapila Hendawitharane who is now the Director of National Intelligence and Captain Ranatunge from The Sri Lanka Army Commando Regiment Unit of the Sri Lanka Army as witnesses in Nadarajah Sethurupan defamation case.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Sri Lanka Army Commando Regiment\u00a0Capt. S.K. Ranatunga, who came from Sri Lanka, said that he is from the Sri Lanka’s Defence Unit and his official boss Prof. Rohan Gunaratna had advised him to appear as a witness who working on Intelligence and Terror research matter, He said that “we are defence people and we know K.T.Rajasingahm for long time and they are writing many things which is closely associated with the Sri Lankan government.” \u00a0K.T.Rajasingham’s lawyer asked from Capt. S.K. Ranatunga that \u201cwho are you and you always use the word \u2018We”, what do you mean by \u2018we\u2019?\u201d Capt. S.K. Ranatunga\u00a0said that \u201cwe mean, we are defence people of Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n

Brig.Kapila Hendawitharane’s lawyer, Mr.Kalinga N.Indratissa said that “his client has lost to understand as to why he has been summoned as a witness in the above case and he has had no connection whatsoever, either with Kanapathipillai Rajasingham or Vijay Eswaran, who are parties to above case.”<\/p>\n

The court heard that threats against NORWAY NEWS journalist Sethurupan’s life originated from the Sri Lankan military intelligence and Sri Lankan National intelligence according to KT Rajasingham’s testimony in Court.<\/p>\n
