They include an airline worker stopped from wearing a cross and a registrar who did not want to marry gay couples.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_52992\" style=\"width: 314px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/index.php\/uk-christians-take-beliefs-fight-to-european-court-of-human-rights\/ba\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-52992\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-52992\" class=\"size-full wp-image-52992\" title=\"BA\" src=\"http:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/BA.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"304\" height=\"171\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/BA.jpg 304w, https:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/BA-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 304px) 100vw, 304px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-52992\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">British Airways worker Nadia Eweida was sent home after refusing to remove a necklace with a cross<\/p><\/div>\n<p>All four lost separate employment tribunals relating to their beliefs.<\/p>\n<p>Secular critics have said any ruling in favour of the group could &#8220;seriously undermine&#8221;
