Rehan Wijeratne did not assault him.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/index.php\/army-major-now-says-malaka-and-rehan-did-not-assault-him\/malaka-rehan-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-54426\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-54426 lazyload\" title=\"Malaka-Rehan\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Malaka-Rehan2-300x237.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"237\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 300px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 300\/237;\" \/><\/a>His lawyer filed an affidavit before the Colombo Fort Magistrate today stating that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/?s=Malaka+Silva&amp;x=8&amp;y=6\">Malaka Silva<\/a><\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/?s=Rehan+Wijeratne&amp;x=8&amp;y=11\">Rehan Wijeratne<\/a><\/span> did not assault him, Colombo media report says.\u00a0The affidavit also stated that five others, who are in the remand prison, have assaulted him and also agreed to settle the matter amicably.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile both Malaka Silva and Rehan Wijeratne, who were ordered to be remanded by the Fort Magistrate yesterday, were admitted to the Prison Hospital from the Magazine prison and\u00a0the other five suspects were transferred to the normal prison ward.<\/p>\n<p>Related
