He was\u00a0assaulted by a group of four unidentified men in Mount Lavinia this morning, the according to the Police .<\/p>\n<p>Justice Minister Rauff Hakeem strongly condemned the assault as an act that is likely to trigger far reaching repercussions. Last week\u00a0Manjula Tillakaratne said\u00a0\u201cA situation has arisen where there is a danger to the security of all of us and our families beginning from the person holding the highest position in the judicial system,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI absolutely reject the malicious and baseless allegations levelled against me and the Judicial Services Commission these days.
