Platform for Freedom will be organizing a public seminar titled\u00a0‘People’s Sovereignty and Human Rights’\u00a0<\/strong>to mark the 64th International Human Rights Day.<\/p>\n

The seminar will be held on\u00a0Monday 10th December 2012, 9.45 am to 12.15 pm at National Library Services Board Auditorium, Independence Square, Colombo 7<\/strong>. Human Rights Defenders and Civil Society Activists all over the country will be invited to attend this seminar.<\/p>\n

Ranil Wickramasinghe; Leader of the Opposition, Dr. Paikiasothy Saravanamuttu; Executive Director; Centre for Policy Alternatives, Attorney K. W. Janaranjana; Editor in Chief of Ravaya newspaper and Attorney Sudarshana Gunawardana; Executive Director of Rights Now Collective for Democracy will deliver lectures in this seminar. \u00a0Dr.Nimalka Fernando will moderate this event.<\/p>\n
