There is no place for\u00a0those who do not accept this’.” says the\u00a0All Ceylon Hindu Congress.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“All Ceylon Hindu Congress wish to point out that such an outrageous statement by “Bodu Bala Sena<\/a><\/span>” is\u00a0an act which may create further social and religious hatred among the citizens of this land. We are also\u00a0constrained to observe that this statement is not only in violation of the Constitution but also in breach of\u00a0the laws of this country. Therefore immediate steps should be taken to put an end to this sort of\u00a0propaganda.” issuing a statement they further said.<\/p>\n

All Ceylon Hindu Congress wish to point out that such an outrageous statement by “Bodu Bala Sena” is\u00a0an act which may create further social and religious hatred among the citizens of this land. We are also\u00a0constrained to observe that this statement is not only in violation of the Constitution but also in breach of\u00a0the laws of this country. Therefore immediate steps should be taken to put an end to this sort of\u00a0propaganda.<\/p>\n

Having experienced, during the last few decades, the unfortunate consequences and repercussions of\u00a0“Sinhala Only<\/a><\/span>” cry, needless to point out that “Buddhism Only” cry will only further deteriorate the\u00a0situation in this country and affect the nation badly. Therefore we appeal to His Excellency the President,\u00a0the Prime Minister, the Leader of the Opposition and all other Parliamentarians to forthwith put a full\u00a0stop to this dangerous trend of propaganda.<\/p>\n

On behalf of the Hindus and all other citizens who value peace and harmony in this country, we urge all\u00a0Tamil Ministers and other Tamil Members of Parliament also to make note of this and take all necessary\u00a0steps in that direction.<\/p>\n
