relief from the Appeal Court, against steps by the ruling Rajapaksa regime to grab an area of approximately 25.8 square kilometres (6381 acres), including their traditional homes. desperation.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioners state that the so called\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.colombotelegraph.com\/?s=Land+Grabbing&amp;x=10&amp;y=2\">land acquisition<\/a><\/span>\u00a0is flawed in several ways, and point out that proper procedures have not been followed, and that there is no proper public purpose to be served for which their land is to
