Jayasekara was keen to join the government after resigning from Parliament sources closed to the MP told Colombo Telegraph. As reported last week\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">the SLFP Working Committee had approved the matter in principle and that a final decision of President Mahinda Rajapaksa was awaited.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jayasekara recently held a discussion with the UNP leader Ranil Wickremasinghe and reportedly promised not to leave the party.
