Fresh sounds rings in our ears! The sounds from Nandikidal and Mulliawaikkal. Screams of unimaginable terror and suffering. Hands held up in surrender then, on the edge of Mullaitivu. The hands held up today in Weliweriya, close to Colombo!<\/p>\n

Were the basic tenets of international humanitarian law upheld in either case? A resounding NO!<\/p>\n

A victim - A protestor against the ground water contamination scandal in the Gampaha<\/p><\/div>\n

a leadership that calls a war humanitarian,<\/p>\n

a government that sends in the Army and STF to quell a legitimate protest in a cruel and bloody manner, a protest staged ,demanding for that most basic right \u2013 water,<\/p>\n

a state that defends, protects and nurtures an extremist\/hate campaign instigated by the fascist group Bodu bala Sena against Christians and Muslims, with over 200 attacks to date, ironically inviting the Pope for a visit<\/p>\n

a government that harbours members who protect those who decimate the entire village of Kotakethana, committing the largest femicide during normal times,<\/p>\n

a government that is deaf to the cries of the residents and workers of Nooriwatte against murder, rape, extortion and fraud, yet again protecting their goon – Athakota<\/p>\n

a government that protects Pradeshiya Sabha Chairperson Vidanapathirana and his gang of 7 from both gory murder and gang rape<\/p>\n

a government that protects yet another Pradeshiya Sabha member who gets a teacher to kneel in retaliation for correcting his daughter\u2019s behavior, in her interest<\/p>\n

a government that is reluctant to serve punishment on the Akuressa Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Saruwage Sunil for raping a 13 year old<\/p>\n

a government that is reluctant to punish yet another of its most nefarious members and his son for creating mayhem in the country<\/p>\n

a government that also protects the Udubaddawa Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman who assaulted a woman officer so mercilessly she had to be treated at 3 hospitals<\/p>\n

a government that protects yet another and another and another\u2026\u2026..local government politician for abject crimes committed and there are MANY<\/p>\n

a government that killed a youth in the FTZ struggle to safeguard their legitimate right to protect their hard earned pension funds<\/p>\n

a government that does everything to protect \u00a0and welcome back with open arms an alleged murderer \u00a0of one of their own strong supporters, a rapist and girlfriend beater, who forgets every sin he has committed<\/p>\n

a government that did not bring to book perpetrators in the Grease incidents<\/p>\n

a government that orders a prison heist and sits back while prisoners are killed like dogs by their own STF<\/p>\n

a government that brings down the walls of the city buildings to beautify, while putting up blind walls against citizen\u2019s freedom<\/p>\n

WHAT DO WE CALL SUCH A GOVERNMENT which is both cruel and foolish? Is this then the NEW Miracle of Asia? What does it make Mahinda then? Polpot Rajapaksa? When cruelty and folly of leadership gets mixed up, this is a dangerous cocktail for its citizens.<\/p>\n

WHAT DOES THAT MAKES US CITIZENS FOR ACCEPTING THIS CRAP? Wimps?<\/strong><\/p>\n
