  1. The three major events and blunders that LTTE supremo V.Prabhakaran did for his downfall …..leave others to a lesser extent.

    1) USA world Trade Center Bombing.
    2) Assassination of Rajive Gandhi.
    3) Closing Mavil Aru sluice gate.

CLOSING MAVIL ARU SLUICE GATE WAS THE BIGGEST BLUNDER VP DID FOR HIS IMMEDIATE DOWN FALL.

Three major Blunders President Rajapakse did for his own downfall.

    1) Killing 40,000 innocent Tamil people at nanthikandal lagoon.
    2) Sending Gen. Sarath Fonseka to prison.
    3) Impeaching CJ Dr. Shirani Rajapakse.

IMPEACHING CJ.SHIRANI RAJAPAKSE IS THE BIGGEST BLUNDER PRES. RAJAPAKSE DID FOR HIS DOWNFALL.

Both President MR and VP are on same boat where both perished due to their own excess selfish nature and excess power greed.

Now President Rajapakse is planning to hire British and International Law firms, foreign advocacy and activists groups, legal aid and consulting firms, Lobbying groups, advertising and media houses, and plan to spend untold amount of foreign currency to fight next March UNHR session.

Also MR plan to buy out many UN foreign ministries paying untold amount of foreign exchange, similar to the One and a half million US Dollars paid to Ugandan UN rep.
Also Sri Lanka’s Marxist party Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) says the government is engaged in offering economic bribes to members of the international community in order to overcome the pressure posed by them.

Also during the Sri Lanka 65 year Independence church service the Anglican Bishop of Colombo Rt. Reverend Dhiloraj Canagasabey called Christians yesterday to be prophets who speak out against unjust systems.

Therefore unless all country loving citizens speak against unjust while speak openly for their rights, liberty and freedom, MR will use all his weapons to silance the mases with fake patriotism.

What my prediction is….. I AM MUCH POSITIVE NOW THAN EVER WITH ALL THESE SPENDING AT UNHR STILL NORTH IS GOING TO BE A CENTRAL TAMIL HOMELAND AND ALSO REST OF THE COUNTR’S FUTURE IS UNPREDICTABLE.\

NONE WILL BE ABLE TO STOP IT……..AND ALL HAPPENED DUE TO MARA’S BLUNDER.

PRESIDENT MR SPOILT THE WINNING THE WAR THAT COULD HAVE BEEN A TOTAL VICTORY FOR SRI LANKA BUT BLUNDERED IT DUE TO HIS OWN STUPIDITY AND NOW THE SINHALA PEOPLE ARE THE VICTIMS AND THEY COULD BE A MINORITY IN FUTURE SRI LANKA.

    TAKE MY WORD TODAY.

  2. Not only US but also any right thinking, rights bounded would feel the same about the MR.

So, these can become new to the masses for whom he is one and only leader to lead the country, but for the increasing numbers that feel the country should be governed by a leader that has the capacity to do so – may always be ones that continuously criticize MR and his ruling.

People should be very clear that ones criticise be from west or other world bodies are NOT ONLY imperialists or colonialists

  3. Jayantha,
I think the biggest blunder by Prabakarn is to wage a war of terrorism against the people of SL and the biggest blunder by MR is defeating the terrorism despite the specific instructions by the west not to do so.

My predictions is the foolish Lankan people will always find a reson to fight each other where the ultimate beneficiaries for such actions are the countries with “strategic interests” in the region.

    • Agree. Silly population of Sri Lanka will continue their petty bickering with each other.

Nations with vested interests will use, abuse and misuse both Sinhalese and Tamils depending on their needs.

It has happened many times in our history. Will happen again.

    • gayan,

I think the biggest mistake was British invading Sri lanka and trying to educate and civilise our Sinhala Gas Gembas.

Unlike other 80 odd countriess which British invaded including USA, Canada, Australia,New Zeland, Singapore, China, malaysia,Korea,Japan,South Africa,Thailand, Phillipines, India etc, who are doing very well now……….British would have avoided invading our country to leave our Gas Gemba cave men to ever live in tree tops humming pel kavi, dressed with the national dress which was Amude, eating helapa, aggala and kurakkan and going about in Gon Karatte singing vannam.

British trying to Civilese ever uncivilised Sinhala Donkey crooks, which the saying going as…… leoperds never change their spots have come into past.

WELLCOME TO SRI LANKA SINHALA GAS GEMBA’S GRACELAND…….AND PRESIDENT’S KOLLUPITIYA “GON GAHANA MANDIRAYA” ( Part of the 435 new name changes in Colombo)

  4. “The LTTE, however, might respond best
to pressure from the expatriate Tamil community, which
finances, either voluntarily or involuntarily, much of its
    operations, he asserted”
So Lunsted knew the Tigers were collecting money, given willingly or taken by force and did sweet nothing to stop funding the terror.
Now they pretend to be holier than thow and scream war crimes.
