There’s growing tension between hardline buddhists and Muslims and Christians. A group of Buddhist organizations in Sri Lanka says they will have to take the law into their own hands to protect the Sinhala Buddhist way of life. I have been reading some of the postings you forwarded from the Sri Lankan
Buddhists and those of Janaka Perera, in which he has used abusive language
towards me. What I find interesting is that these scum of the earth feel free to
attack other religions, but they are not open to academic discourse on their own
religion. The story I am going to write below will show why these monkeys are
such savages – it is their low breed. (the Israelis call them “funny monkeys”).
As a member of the Eastern Philosophy Discussion Circle, many of us have
travelled to different countries in the east. I have visited Sri Lanka too,
where I had a scary experience. My tour guide was a pleasant young lady named
Nalini. I had read that the Lankatillake Vihare had unique architecture. So, I
asked the chauffer to take us there.
As we alighted from the taxi, we saw a group of young students who had got off
the bus and were coming towards us. I did not think anything strange about it,
as I thought hey were also going to the Vihare. But, as they got closer to us,
they became noisy, laughing as if they were making fun of somebody, and they
were becoming boisterous. Still I did not think too much about it, but Nalini
grabbed my hand and pulled me away from the crowd towards our rental car. I
asked ‘what is the matter, what is the matter’, and she said ‘let’s go, I will
tell you later’. We got into our car safely and I asked her what all that
commotion was about. Nalini said those urchins were using some vulgar language
against both of us. I asked her ‘like what’. She said she couldn’t repeat the
words. I was too curious to know, so finally, she said that they were saying
things like wanted to tear our clothes and make us naked and rape us in public.
I was really shocked that such horrible things should
come from school children and that too, those going to a Vihare. Nalini was
pretty shaken up, and we asked our driver to get back to our hotel.
Our chauffer was a retired school teacher, an elderly gentleman, Mr.Shanmugam,
who had excellent knowledge about Sri Lankan history, religions, culture and so
on.. On our drive back to Colombo, we had a long chat and I was busy writing
down the information he provided. The local words were hard to spell; Shan
helped to write them down.
On the way, we had a flat tire and a gentleman in a Mercedes stopped to help us.
We were surprised to find out he was a medical doctor, one Dr.Mohamed Cassim. He
invited us to have a cup of tea. Shan obviously liked the idea. When we arrived
at his residence, I was quite impressed by the size of the mansion, and the
flowery shrubs and the beautiful garden. Later I saw so many fruit trees, I
thought this was truly a little paradise. Dr.Cassim’s wife and his two young
daughters welcomed us warmly. The home was so clean that the floors were
shining.
Suddenly it began to rain heavily and also it was getting dark. Our hosts
suggested we stayed with them for the night and left on our journey the next
day. I just don’t have space to write about such a warm and wonderful
hospitality – in no time, we felt we had known each other for years. And the
delicious Sri Lankan food – I feel hungry every time I remember it. After
dinner, Shanmugam wanted to go out and find a place to sleep – because this is
the custom there (There is strong caste / class system), but Dr.Cassim insisted
that he should stay with them and that they did not differentiate among people.
Next morning, Mrs. Cassim asked me if I would like hoppers or string hoppers for
breakfast. I felt a bit squeamish – hoppers, like grass hoppers ?- and she
quickly realized I did not know what hoppers were, and Nalini was giggling. She
smiled and said don’t worry, we will make both and, see which you liked. My
goodness, there were hoppers, egg-hoppers and string-hoppers – what delicacies!
We ate so much that we didn’t have space for lunch. We bid farewell and were on
our way.
On the way, Shanmugam started his history lessons. He asked me ” Do you know
that all the main races in Sri Lanka are associated with ‘boats’?”. I told him I
was curious to know. He said Muslims are called ‘maraklayas’ – people of the
ship, because their forefathers arrived in the island as merchants by ships. He
said jokingly, that the Singalese called the Tamils ‘kalla-thoni’ which meant
‘illegal boat people’. He said the Singalese also came to Sri Lanka, by boat,
banished for their barbarity. Then he went on to tell us the origin of the word
‘sinhala’, and the singalese and the lion on the national flag and, I was busy
writing it down.
Since Shan was a Tamil, I wanted to make sure the story was true. On the
internet I found the story correct, almost word for word.
The story is not for the squeamish – it is full of Bestiality, rape, treachery,
incest, bloodshed, wanton cruelty and massacres. When Princess Suppadevi of the
Kingdom of Vanga was born, the royal astrologers predicted that she would have
sex with the lion, the jungle beast. Fearing such a scandal, the king tried to
prevent it from happening by locking her up. Suppadevi escaped from the palace
and joined a caravan travelling to the kingdom of Magadha. The caravan was
attacked en route by a lion.
The lion took Suppadevi to his den and raped her – the rape resulted in twins –
a boy and a girl – who were named Sinhabahu and Sinhaseevali. The lion kept them
locked up by covering the cave mouth with a boulder whenever he went out. The
children began to question their mother about the world outside. Suppadevi told
them who she was and how she’d come to be with the lion.
By the time he was sixteen, Sinhabahu had grown strong and decided to escape
from the cave with his mother and sister by lifting the boulder covering the
mouth. This they did the day while the Lion was out hunting.
The Lion went mad with grief at losing his family. He began visiting border
villages in search of his beloved wife and children. The villagers were
frightened by the Lion and came to the king, Suppadevi’s father, asking him to
do something about the creature.
The king proclaimed that whoever killed the lion would receive a thousand pieces
of gold. Sinhabahu wanted to come forward but his mother restrained him. Since
none took up the task, the king sent out a second proclamation with two thousand
pieces of gold and again Sinhabahu was stopped by his mother. The third time,
when the reward had gone up to three thousand gold pieces, Sinhabahu simply took
up the quest without telling his mother.
Sinhabahu was brought to his grandfather, who promised the young man his kingdom
if he would rid it of the Lion. Knowing where the Lion would be, Sinhabahu
returned to the cave where they’d lived. The Lion, upon seeing his beloved son,
rushed forward to embrace him. Sinhabahu, heartlessly, shot him dead with an
arrow through the heart.
Sinhabahu, the grandson of the king, founded a kingdom of his own named
Sinhapura, marrying his own sister to consolidate the royal line. He had
thirty-two sons by her, the eldest of whom was named Vijaya.
Vijaya, was a problem child. He drew other miscreants to himself like a magnet.
He got into all sorts of acts of violence. The people of the kingdom had had
enough and complained to the king. Sinhabahu spoke to his son but Vijaya turned
a deaf ear. Finally, the king decided to expel him and 700 of his followers from
the kingdom. They had half their heads shaved to shame them, and were put on a
boat with their wives and children and were sent away from Sinhapura.
They eventually landed in Sri Lanka, where lived the Yakkhas, who could
transform themselves at will. One day, a Yakkha (demon) in the form of a bitch
appeared to Vijaya and his followers. Thinking that where there were dogs there
must be humans, especially, females they needed to breed, they chased after it.
The bitch led the men to a forest. Waiting for them was another Yakkha, the
temptress Kuveni, who was sitting by a pond. One by one Vijaya’s followers tried
their charms on her, only to be pitched into the pond, where they were magically
ensnared. Vijaya, though, was able to grab Kuveni’s hair and threatened to cut
off her head. Kuveni, being the temptress that she was, immediately offered to
release the men, and changing herself back to the age of 16, seduced Vijaya in a
conveniently located bed.
Thus, the rise of the Sinhalese civilization began in bestiality, rape, incest,
treachery, betrayal, wanton cruelty, massacres and bloodshed. There is nothing
so horrific like this among other peoples.
Vijaya insisted on certain pre-nuptial conditions – that Kuveni give him the
kingdom, even if it meant betraying her own people. This she did, and the
criminal mind Vijaya then massacred them at their capital Sri Vastipura.
Thereafter he was crowned the first king of Lanka. Kuveni’s treachery led her
nowhere because she had not been able to give Vijaya a son and heir, only two
daughters. Her husband therefore asked her to leave. Kuveni was distraught, but
nothing would make Vijaya change his mind. So she wandered back to the forest.
On the Puttalam -Kurunegala road there is what is known as Tonigala or “rock of
lamentation,” which gets its name from the belief that it was here that Kuveni
was betrayed by Vijaya. Further down the same road there is a village called
Vilakatupotha or “vale of tears,” which commemorates the spot where Kuveni
tarried on her journey to the peak known as Yakdessa-gala, from which she
plunged to her death, imploring the gods to avenge the wrong down to her by
Vijaya. Some stories say, Vijaya cut off Kuveni’s nose and let her die a
painful, cruel death.
We arrived safely in Colombo. Shan told me to be very careful, as the Singalese
were known for thievery and Colombo was full of pick-pockets.
So, when I was reading all the hate-filled emails from the Singalese and their
abusive, vulgar language, I did not get angry. This has to do with their breed –
very low breed.

Being a Sinhyalese I feel so ashamed and sad as to what is happening to our country.
Europeans did so much to our country Including Tar roads, Railway, team cars, trolly busses, Tea, rubber, coconut, Parliament, schools, hospitals, Churches, Buddhist temples, Mosques,Colombo Harbour, Airport, Parliament, Army, Navy, Airforce, Police, all top companies, ships, aeroplanes,Tank farms, electricity, water, gas, radio, nusic, cinema etc, etc, without borrowing a single penny from outside.
Even today the first cup of Tea we drink is due to British planted tea in Sri Lanka.
But our ever unappreciative, ungrateful, uncultured thug breed even tody talk bad about them. This is the curse that our country is going through now.
BBS have never revealed their true intentions or aganda to the public yet.
May be BBS is planning to bring in their own Buddhist sharia Law to the Sinhala Buddhist community.Are they plan to feed us with Polkudu…..
