The Muslim Council of Sri Lanka (MCSL) has today urged the Inspector General of Police and the National Police commission to inquire into the latest charges made by monk Galagoda Atte Gnanasara of the Bodu Bala Sena claiming that the police found suicide jackets in a Muslim home down Kawdana road. MCSL has also requested the IGP to take immediate action against Gnanasara Thero if he was lying as this charge could cause hate against the Muslims.

Dear Sir,
It is with much concern that we wish to bring to your notice, a statement made by Ven. Galaboda Aththe Gnanasara Thero of the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) which could be seen from the enclosed DVD. He has accused the Muslims of harboring extremists and planning a major military attack on Sri Lanka with the support of international terrorists. You will note in the enclosed DVD that he has specifically accused the Muslims of hoarding suicide jackets and harboring terrorists in a private residence in Kawdana, Dehiwela.
You will no doubt give very serious attention to the statement made by Ven. Galaboda Aththe Gnanasara Thero that would warrant an immediate investigation by yourself. Given the portrayal of the Muslim community in a very detrimental manner, the Muslim Council of Sri Lanka calls upon your good-self to conduct an impartial inquiry and take appropriate action.
Ven. Galaboda Aththe Gnanasara Thero’s recent statement is obviously to restart the hate campaign that existed before the Presidential elections 8th of January 2015, by targeting the Muslim and other minority communities. As you are aware, there have been over 540 incidents of violence, intimidation and hate carried out by extremist groups like the BBS against the Muslims and over 511 incidents against the evangelical Christians during the last three years. Mosques, Churches and prayer centers have been systematically targeted and destroyed. Despite several representations, no proper police action has been taken against these those responsible for such acts at that time.
Given the independence of the Police since January 2015, we are hopeful that appropriate and urgent action will be taken by you on the above and if the accusations are found to be false, to punish those responsible for hate campaigns and disrupting peace in the country.

If the charges are true, he has every right to do that. Make sure it was not planted as one cannot trust BBS. Remember, BBS is funded by Norway, Israel and the Christian West.
Most likely it is false, because it is coming from BBS and those who are behind BBS.
Now the Muslim Council must file a Civil suit against BBS in the Courts asking for Rs.500 million in damages. Withdraw the civil suit, if the allegations are true.
Why Rs. 500 million? That seems to be the amount Avent Garde and the Rajapaksas have been throwing around.

Defense secretary gets cold feet after Lanka e news exposure: Sends document he viciously hid to AG !
Following the exposure by a report yesterday under the caption ‘Avant Garde acquisition sparks legal complications ! Defense secretary’s omission can result in US $3 billion loss to government !’ the defense secretary who was hitherto concealing a most vital agreement most traitorously had finally sent it the Attorney General (AG).
The report stated that the defense secretary had sought AG’s advice without revealing to him the agreement signed between Avant Garde Co. and Rakna Lanka security Co. 20 days prior to the illegal acquisition of Avant Garde Co.,which agreement was signed with full knowledge of the defense secretary.
Moreover , despite the AG calling for this agreement on many occasions from the defense secretary which was held back by him , the latter had tried his best to keep the AG in the dark in that regard.It was also highlighted by …..news that in the event of the AG taking a wrong decision sans that agreement , the government of Sri Lanka (SL) could lose US dollars 3 billion ! – which amount the government could become liable to pay to Avant Garde Co.
At long last ! after ……news exposed this outrageous and illegal action of the defense secretary , the latter had got cold feet and immediately sent the agreement which he hid for so long from the AG and the people.
What is most important is the deceitful design in that agreement : while Kili-Rajitha- Champika –Arjuna group was mounting charges against Avant Garde Co. has signed a pact with the same Co. with the defense minister and defense secretary accepting full responsibility.
20 days prior , while stating it is in the interests of national security even without the knowledge of the cabinet , the Company was given over to the Navy. Between the agreement and the charges mounted by this Kili-Rajitha-Champika – Arjuna’s racket team there are grave contradictions. In the interests of the public ,once again we append this agreement .

It does not matter who cures them. It could be Buddha with his Sermons, Dhammapada, Jesus with his Claims to salvation, a Kattidiya, a Village Doctor, Veda Mahhatya.
The infection is Mahawansa induced hallucinations. It has infected many Sinhala “Buddhists”, and made them deviate from the Enlightened Buddha’s path, but not all. Those Sinhala Buddhists, who concerted to Christianity, for various reasons, were cured from this disease.
So, there is no disease with Sinhala, Tamil, Buddhist, Hindu Christian or Muslim( Except Wahhabis and their clones).
The moment, Sinhala is mixed with Buddhism, some, but not all, are affected by the Sinhala “Buddhist” disease, originally induced by Monk Mahanama of Mahawansa and BBS Ganasara “Sangha” Thero, Funded aided and abetted by Norway, Israel, and American fundamentalist Christians.

We have observed for many years that the Theravada Buddhism practiced in Sri Lanka, better known as Sinhala-Buddhism (or Mahavamsa-Buddhism) is not only intolerant but also violent and barbaric in nature.
Instead of practising what Buddha preached (Ahimsa/non-violence, Karuna/compassion, Metta/affection, and Maithriya/loving-kindness towards fellow humans), the Buddhist clergy in Sri Lanka engages in un-Buddhist practices such as hate speech, racist politics and also promote Sinhala-Buddhist chauvinism and hatred towards minorities.
It is tragic to see that the Buddhist religion is dragged down to such a low level by non-other than the members of the Buddhist clergy. These Buddhist monks (hora ganayas or cheevaradharis) are exploiting the respect that the Buddhist society has for the yellow robed Sangha (one of the triple gems mentioned by Buddha) and not only misleading the gullible Buddhists but also betraying Buddhism and insulting the Buddha.
Even during the 1950s, we have seen Buddhist terrorists among the Buddhist clergy such as Buddhrakitha Thero and Somarama thero assassinating Prime Minister SWRD Bandaranayake. Today we have the extreme version of them in the Buddhist clergy known as Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) and Sinhala Ravaya. President Maithree and Prime Minister Ranil should take extra care and precaution against these Buddhist Terrorists who will not hesitate even for a moment when it comes to assassinating our leaders.
What is the point in having a Buddhasasana ministry if it is only a silent observer to all the anti-Buddhist acts committed by the Buddhist monks? The new government under President Maithree should think of forming a Buddhist Disciplinary Commission/Committee under the Ministry of Buddhasasana and Religious Affairs to maintain the Buddhist Vinaya (disciplinary code) among the Buddhist clergy. All the rouge Monks (hora ganayas or cheevaradharis) who are hijacking the Buddhist religion with their anti-Buddhist activities and disrupting the peace in the country should be subjected to disciplinary action and should be disrobed. Buddhist disciplinary laws should be enacted specially for the Buddhist clergy who violate the Buddhist values and principles. This has become an urgent need in Sri Lanka if Yahapalanaya is to succeed.

This has been proposed to do as part of its efforts to bring about better understanding among different ethnic and religious groups of Sri Lanka.
Initial discussion has been done with the Education Ministry.
However, the Ministry has not yet given its green light for the introduction of this subject.
It is a subject currently taught at graduate and post graduate level at some universities.

First and foremost the Buddhism practiced by the Sinhalese is an insult to the true preaching’s of Lord Buddha. The Sinhalese are converts to Buddhism thanks to Sangamitta Thera from India. Buddhism is not about planting Buddha Statues in every street corner, by the side of dirty drains, next to meat/fish markets and alcohol shops or close to other locations of other religious worship creating disassociation and a nuisance. Buddhism is not about planting Buddha Statues by three wheeler drivers and administration of the same by such low caste principled yakko type fellows. Buddhism is not about blasting pirith on loudspeakers desecrating the silence of the environment. The statue of Lord Buddha is not a Christmas tree for an ignorant shameless population of Sinhalese to decorate with sparkling colorful lights to gain attraction. Buddhism is not a pedestal for a group of Mahanayake theros to create divisional politics and caste based nikayas such as the Siam, Malwatte, Asgiriya that play and pander with the dirty politics and racist policies of Sinhalese political leaders such as SWRD Bandaranayake and very recently Mahinda Rajapakse. Buddhism is not about these Mahanayake Theras to keep conveniently silent when thousands of Tamils were being murdered on the basis of patriotism and heroism in riots of 1915, 1956, 1958, 1977, 1983 and finally State genocide of 2009 by Sinhalese and only make an issue that Lord Buddha’s photographs need to be banned from being published in Newspapers because fish and meat or alcohol can be wrapped in the those same newspapers. Buddhism is not about banning meat and alchohol and even theatres on Poya days while Sinhalese are seen ganging up at supermarkets and shops the day before filling their larders with meat and alcohol. When Rev. Sangamitra Thera converted these uncivilized Sinhalese to Buddhism, little did he realize that these monkeys would one day abuse and use this religion as a tool for criminalizing society and manipulate the same for religious intolerance and racism. It is sad that India, being the true land of Lord Buddha and having the most exemplary Buddhists of the world fails to make a statement of the level of abuse and shameless indiscipline that is perpetrated by the Sinhalese in the name of Buddhism in Sri Lanka bringing untold shame on this great son of India Lord Buddha.
Therefore, Sinhalese are just a shameless race that lives on stating that they are Buddhists to show the world that they are civilized but actually otherwise. The UN reports and the new UNHRC resolution show ample proof of this.

They killed dozens of Reverend monks and even targeted the Dalada Maligawa in the heart of Kandy.These were headline news in not only our mother land but in the entire world. I don’t think you can escape yourself by saying I was a baby then or out of the country. But that was the time we all should have heard you loud and clear. However, you did not make a noise at all. We wonder that was for your safety or reason you don’t and you didn’t the Sinhala majority in particular and the Sri Lankans in general. We would not allow any one to wear this jacket in our country again.
