“Former MP Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra died in the shoot-out along with three others. UPFA Colombo District MP Duminda de Silva was placed on life support after doctors removed two bullets that were embedded in his skull after a four hour operation, the Director General of the Sri Jayewardene Hospital,” Dr. S. A. K. Gamage said.
He said that two surgeons had attended to the injured MP and that more surgery was needed to remove a third bullet from his skull. The MP along with some 15 others was hospitilised after a bloody shoot out with a rival in the same party at Kolonnawa.

Attorny general too dismisses all cases against govt. politiciens against all norms.
Unregistered quacks are given titles as presidential physician who shames countries sportsman
Even in a rare situation if a politico is found guilty in court of law- the punishment is differed for 10 yrs!!!
Even if MPs openly plunder the country, they are given more promotions

The war is over and Gota is a super super hero. He is not only Defence Secretary. He runs Apollo Hospital, in charge of beautifying Colombo, Kandy, heads a private security company, director of many other companies and the monarch of all what he surveys. It is a crying shame that he has given protection to a drug kind pin who was appointed monitor to the Ministry of Defence. When the Narcotics Bureau made a dug bust, a senior SSP was transferred on the orders of Gotabhaya. He styles himself the greatest patriot Lanka has ever seen. This is after leaving the country for 17 long years to work as a security guard and petrol pump attendant in Los Angeles. Does one now call Kudu Duminda also a patriot? Is it because he doled out billions in cash? There are lots that Sri Lankans do not know. People like Lasantha are not there to expose them. The Rajapaksas must realise one thing – every day is not going to be Christmas for them. Basil who was called Mr. Ten Percent is now called Mr. Hundred Percent. Gotabaya the patriot has now become a pariah in the eyes of the people. Mahinda Rajapaksa faces the same fate that befell Muammar Gadaffi. It woon’t take 40 years like Libya.
