Jerusalem: The Silence Of Sri Lanka

By Sanja De Silva Jayatilleka

Sanja De Silva Jayatilleka

On Friday the 8th of December, 8 of the 15 members of the United Nations Security Council called an emergency meeting. It was called by Bolivia, Egypt, France, Italy, Senegal, Sweden, UK and Uruguay, in response to President Trump’s unilateral declaration that the United States recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Writing in Japan Today Edith M. Lederer reported that “One by one, 14 members of the U.N. Security Council spoke out against President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital… some with regret and some with anger at the 15th member, the United States.”

Speaking from Jerusalem at the start of the emergency meeting of the Security Council, Nikolay Mladenov, UN Special Coordinator on the Situation in the Middle-East said “For both Israel and Palestine, Jerusalem will remain an integral part of their national identity”. He said “The UN position is clear. Jerusalem is a final status issue, for which a comprehensive, just and lasting solution must be achieved through negotiation…” Expressing his concern in the context of President Trump’s announcement that there was “potential risk of violent escalation”, he warned that if a solution is not found “it risks being engulfed in the vortex of religious radicalism throughout the Middle East.”

All of the UN Security Council members, except for Ambassador Nicky Haley of the United States, said that the US President’s statement violated a number of Security Council and General Assembly resolutions. Several including the Ambassador of Sweden said it “contradicts international law”. The Swedish Ambassador added that 40% of the inhabitants of Jerusalem were Palestinian and that UN resolutions had previously ruled that any changes to the character and status of Jerusalem were null and void. He also stated that all members of the EU were unanimous in the decision to call the emergency meeting. France said that it was “greatly alarmed by the risk of escalation” and what was at stake was the “legitimacy of the Security Council”.

Bolivia’s Ambassador Sasha Llorenty Soliz said the U.S. declaration undermined “the chance of achieving fair and lasting peace” and that it affected the multi-cultural and multi-religious identity of Jerusalem. He said the US statement was damaging and irresponsible, and will have an impact on the entire region. The outspoken Ambassador said that the situation in Palestine was the “most prolonged military occupation in modern history” and if the Security Council doesn’t take the responsibility for “decisions and measures”, the “Security Council will become an occupied territory” and “will have to add itself to the list of settlements by the occupying power”.

China said it was “highly concerned” that it “will trigger new conflicts” in the region. The Ambassador said that China stood for a two state solution with East Jerusalem as the Capital of Palestine. He also said that China had put forward proposals for a peace settlement.

The Russian Ambassador said that it had proposed a summit in Russia for all parties to come to an agreement. Russia, he said, was for a solution with East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine and West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

US Ambassador Nicky Haley, speaking at the emergency meeting said that President Trump “acted to no longer deny the will of the American people”. She said the declaration “reflected an honest assessment of reality” adding that it will help the peace process when people are honest with each other.  She added that the “UN has been one of the foremost centres of hostility to Israel”. She said that the US will not stand by when Israel is unfairly attacked and that the US will not be lectured to by countries that lack any credibility when it comes to treating Israelis and Palestinians fairly.”

The ‘lectures’ came from all those present there, except for the US and Israel, which had been invited to the emergency session with other non-members, Palestine and Jordan. It is obvious that all Security Council members except the US feel strongly that President Trump’s declaration would lead to an escalation of violence in the Middle East, a region that has already suffered more than any other.

The timing of President Trump’s statement is also significant given that two new initiatives for a settlement had been proposed and welcomed. The question arises as to why President Trump chose this moment to announce recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, when it could clearly jeopardize on-going initiatives for peace in the region. If this was clear to most of the world, including its allies, how was it that the United States found this an opportune moment for such an announcement?

In July this year the China Daily reported a proposal of “a tripartite dialogue mechanism among China, Palestine and Israel to promote major projects to assist the Palestinian side. Under the proposal, China will host a symposium on peace between Palestine and Israel later this year.”

Chinese Special Envoy for the Middle East Issue Gong Xiaosheng had told Xinhua in a recent interview that “Israel, which previously did not want any other country except the United State to get involved in the Israeli-Palestinian issue, has now changed its attitude and is willing to engage China in the peace process.”

Dr. Yoram Evron a Lecturer in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of Haifa, writing in August this year in The Diplomat says that the 2017 Chinese proposals are the first to be made “in the context of the One Belt, One Road (OBOR) vision. This vision has unprecedentedly advanced China’s interest in the Middle East, and its stake in regional stability has grown significantly. Concomitantly, OBOR provides China with unprecedented means to influence regional processes in ways that it finds acceptable under its “business first” approach to the Middle East”. Commenting on China’s motivation for the proposals he says “as Beijing regards the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a major destabilizing factor in the region, OBOR provides it with clear motivation, and equips it with economic-political tools, to promote its resolution.”

In May, the Middle East Monitor reported that a Russian initiative had been welcomed by President Abbas who said after meeting President Putin at Sochi that “solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will be “impossible” without Moscow taking part in the peace process”. It said that the Russian state news agency Tass had reported the Palestinian leader as saying “It is impossible to solve the Palestinian issue without Russia’s meaningful participation in the peace process…That is what we have been emphasizing at all international meetings” .

Given Russia’s recent success in Syria, it is unsurprising that a Russian initiative was welcomed in the region with renewed hope and optimism after decades of unsuccessful negotiations interrupted by regular and bloody conflict at intolerable human cost, a repeated reminder of a helpless humanity, powerless in the face of prolonged and horrendous human suffering.

Strong European allies of the United States, the Prime Minister of Britain, the President of France, Germany’s Chancellor and the Prime Minister of Italy made statements disagreeing with the US declaration, calling it “unhelpful” “regrettable”, and appealed for the status of Jerusalem to be resolved “in the framework of a two state solution”.

An intifada has already been called by both Hamas and Hezbollah. Demonstrations have taken place in Cairo, Gaza and the West Bank and Paris. How does this help move the peace process along, as the US claimed in the aftermath of the announcement?

The UN Secretary General speaking to the press at UN Headquarters in New York condemned “any unilateral measures that would jeopardize the prospect of peace for Israelis and Palestinians”.

The Pope said that “Jerusalem is a unique city,” and that it was, “sacred to Jews, Christians and Muslims, where the Holy Places for the respective religions are venerated, and it has a special vocation to peace.” He said “I wish to make a heartfelt appeal to ensure that everyone is committed to respecting the status quo of the city, in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations”.

What is Sri Lanka’s current stand on this, the most vexing and the oldest issue in international relations? There have been several editorials in the Sri Lankan press condemning the US announcement. The Foreign Ministry has remained silent, perhaps due to Sri Lanka’s new alliance with the United States. Can it articulate Sri Lanka’s traditional position and risk the annoyance of its new patron, or does its silence on the issue question the foreign policy direction of the Unity Government?

The SLFP wing of the Unity government has traditionally been supportive of the Palestinian position, with President Rajapaksa heading the Sri Lanka Committee for Solidarity with Palestine, while also ensuring that Israel’s concerns were accommodated. The SLFP never failed to make a public stand of its support for Palestine. With the change in the leadership of the SLFP, has this policy changed? The Middle East is not a region that Sri Lanka can ignore, given that a large percentage of its foreign earnings emanating from the region, to say nothing of the imperatives of common humanity.

On the 7th of December, The New York Times reported that “All but two of 11 former United States ambassadors to Israel contacted by The New York Times after President Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital thought the plan was wrongheaded, dangerous or deeply flawed.” The mounting criticism of the US from within the country and around the world on this issue brings into question its pronouncements on other issues, including on Sri Lanka.

The Foreign Ministry is in a bit of a bind. How it evaluates the importance of articulating Sri Lanka’s stand on the issue of Palestine, given the context in which the US announcement was made and the near universal condemnation of it, will dictate the Foreign Ministry’s response. So far, it seems to have decided that it is in Sri Lanka’s national interest to remain silent. For how long can it do so?

We can see how candidly you express your double standards and hypocrisy.

You are haplessly worried about Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem being the capital of Israel. Did it ever bother you when Israel sold relatively sophisticated lethal weapon system to kill your fellow countrymen? Does it bother you to see/hear how the armed forces have denied people their livelihood by occupying their habitat for more than 30 years? Does it ever disturb your conscience that a large number of people have been detained by the state without being charged , in some cases more than 20 years and many families still awaiting for the closure of their missing relatives.

I suggest you ignore whatever Trump does in the pursuit of exercising his power (whatever that maybe – maybe the extension of his w***y) for you cannot do much about it. However there are few thing you could do in this land, campaign for a genuine war crime investigation, campaign for the release detainees, …………. and put some sanity into Dayan’s head.

What does Dayan Jayatillake have to say about Trump’s pronouncement?

The Sri Lankan FM can take its time over what ever its stance is going to be and truthfully nobody will notice or care.

Jerusalem as anybody who knows the history of the Jewish tribes will tell you has always been their ‘capital’. Islam arrived about 3 and half millennia later and latched on to the city as ‘holy’ site to throw a spanner in the works.

Much as we sympathize with the Palestinian cause, they are lower down the food chain, and as long as Islamic countries continue to screw each other, Israel will prosper.

Sanja, I suggested you leave Trump to his Jerusalem and try to answer the questions about pending matters nearer home .

Do you think Iran is going to save Palestinian cause, land, people, …………… without anything in return? Iran has to look after its own interest and security hence the alliance with Hezbollah (Shia) and Syria. When the time is right Iran also will give up the Palestinian cause.

See the irony/hypocrisy/double standard, Human Rights Champion Dr Mahinda Rajapaksa (LLD) & Dr Dayan Jayatilleka (PhD) have been ardent supporters of independent state for Palestinians somewhere in Middle East but killed and maimed innocent people for tawing VP’s line.

Iran’s objective is not to save Palestine but it will never be willing to play second fiddle to any of the American puppets in the region.

Someone has to sit down and assess the damage done to the Sri Lankan Navy and cargo ships and their logistics by LTTE’s under water commandos who were initially trained by Israeli intelligent agents.

Israel did understand how to make Sri Lanka insecure and then sell arms, planes, bombs to the country for premium price. So it was a case of Israel laughing all the way to bank. How clever the stupid Sri Lankans were/are.

Did you care to find out why not only the government but also the opposition is silent. If you conduct an opinion poll among the people of Srilanka, you will be surprised with the result. US President does what is right and not what is politically right, and this is what politicians in other countries should follow. Wait and see in months to come, one by one several other countries will move their embassy to Jerusalem. This is the will and pleasure of the God, as predicted in the Old Testament, a genuine prophesy.

Whether Sri Lanka support Palestine issue or not ..It is high time to say that this Donald Trump has ignited fire of violence in Muslim world. He misuse his power and he will be responsible for death of many people on this issues. Already some died in Palestine and he is responsible for blood bath of innocent people. If this violence continues it is his fault.. His blunders and he should be taken into international court of justice ..Moreover, it is stupidity of Arab leaders made this issue more problematic .

We must worry about the plight of the Palestinians but first settle the problem of the Tamils and the Muslims before you go haywire about the rights of the Palestinians. You cannot have credibility in taking stances on Palestine when you have war crimes charges relating to the elimination of thousands of Tamils.

      Consider this scenario,
      Jan8 2015 : Mahinda Rajapaksa wins election.
Jan 12 2015: Dayan appointed Foreign Minister
Dec 8 2017 : Dayan makes fiery speech against Trump at UN
      Dec 9 2017 : Dayan fired.
Dec 10 2017: Israel demands immediate payment for the Kfirs/Dvoras, etc., or demands Maradana in lieu.

Isn’t the present situation better, dear Sanja?

I wonder if Sanja and similar Sinhalese Supremacists have ever heard the phrase “the pot calling the kettle black”. It definitely applies here. I don’t get these Sinhalese Supremacists. They are very left-wing when it comes to issues in the countries that they end up moving to. Many Sinhalese supremacists are pro-Che, pro-Castro and pro-Palestine. Yet they have no compassion, sympathy or understanding for what drove the Tamils of the Northeast to support the creation of an independent Tamil Eelam.

      Nuwan Liyanage,

This is why Dayan coined a term called a “Smart Patriot”!

Dayan is happy to pander to the Sinhala Buddhist Chauvinism when it suits his agenda. He is even a Mahavamsavist as his grandmother told him stories when he was a kid. He values Sinhala Buddhism as a nation though he was brought up as a Catholic! He likes Sinhala hegemony but happy to give 13th Amendment while retaining the Executive Presidency. This means giving carrot to India while have the full control of the Tamils. You see how smart patriot he is! No worries about Sanja as she just likes to write but devoid of meaning and principles!

You are correct regarding this. A Kurdish friend of mine told me a few years ago, how one of his Sinhalese workmates in Melbourne , told him that she sympathises with the plight of the Kurds at the hands of the Turks, Arabs and Iranians. He thanked her and then stated ” you sympathise with our plight but aren’t the Sinhalese doing the same to the Tamil population in Sri Lanka?” She then got very angry and her attitude changed She started to question him in an aggressive manner stating ” What do you mean those bloody Tamils have no rights in the island , this is our land and they deserve everything that has happened to them. We Sinhalese are the rightful owners of the island and are very tolerant people”. He just told her stop being aggressive and you are bloody hypocrite with double standards. In another incident I’m June 2009 , my front door bell rang and when I opened the door someone was collecting money for the orphans and refugees in Africa ( World Vision) . I immediately knew he was from Sri Lanka and when I asked him he stated he was from Sri Lanka and told me his name. He was a Sinhalese. However he did not realise that I was of Sri Lankan origin. Most probably thought I was some North Indian due to my very light complexion and eyes . I just stated it is nice that you are trying to help the orphans and refugees in Africa but what is happening in Sri Lanka is also sad and disgraceful, where your government has committed a war crime and deliberately killed around 145000 innocent Tamil civilians, are going to help them too? He got very agitated and then stated ” No those Tamils deserve everything get. They asked for it. ” I stated that is strange your heart bleeds for the orphans and refugees in Africa but for the plight of own fellow countrymen just because they are Tamil” . He forgot what he came for and he left.

Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish state and the Jewish people. Unlike the Arab nations Jews don’t ban others from practicing their religions even in public but Jews are prohibited from many places under Arabs including the temple mount. Israel is the only democracy in the region and the Israels existence in not up for negotiations. PMs Ehud Barak and Olmet both offered parts of Jerusalem even offering it as an international city but the PLO rejected all that. – go to YouTube and type ‘Ben Shapiro approves trumps Jerusalem move’. Mark my words, In the future Buddhists will not be able to visit both ‘Kurugala’ and ‘Sri-Paada’. Throughout history this has happened to many Buddhist and Hindu religions site.

    Eksath,

Excellent comment! Unfortunately, people look at this issue as well as everything else with their physical eyes. They will never pause to think why Jerusalem is and can be such a heavy “burden” to the nations who are devoid of understanding. Its only a few who has read and understood the Holy Bible and knows Prophesy as it is revealed truly can live in peace and comfort.

Allow me to comment on what Ms. Jayathilaka says.

The city of Jerusalem is first mentioned in Gen.14:18, when Abram (not yet having his name changed to Abraham) meets Melchizadek the king of Salem. Melchizedek was a Christophany and we know what that signifies. This was about 4500 years ago. Jerusalem was in existence when David became king of Israel and under Solomon, Jerusalem became even better established. The Temple was built in Jerusalem by Solomon. The city came under siege by the Assyrians, Babylonians, Greeks, Romans and under Nebuchadnezar, the city was plundered and the people taken captive. We can read in Psalm 137, how the people wept as they were dragged away to slavery. But God never utterly forsook them for they were blessed even in the lands they were dispersed and were eventually inspired to return to Israel. That is why the Jews say to one another, “Tomorrow in Jerusalem”.

Jerusalem is the birth place of Judaism. Jews lived there for over 4000 years ago. Jesus Christ the founder of Christianity was himself a Jew. He fell foul of the Jews because he claimed to be their Messiah. Therefore the Islamic propaganda that Jews were brought from elsewhere and settled in Palestine is racist. History states that Jews were driven out of Palestine by Romans connived by Arabs. Old Testament clearly states that Jews will be on an exodus, roaming the world for several years without a land and finally God will give them back their promised land. When you look at what happened, this is exactly so. Earlier Palestine was occupied by Turks another Muslim nation. God made Turks to take the wrong decision to fight against Britain and saw that Turks are driven out of Palestine by Britain a Christian nation. If this did not happen can Israel have ever been created by Turkey. It is unfortunate that the present day Muslims in Palestine are undergoing suffering for the crime committed by their ancestors on Jews. Islamic propaganda about Jewish claims on Jerusalem has been thrashed by the recent archaeological discovery of Kingdom of David in West Bank which is found to extend into Jordan as well. In the modern world how does expect people to believe the cooked up story of prophet Mohamed another human being going to heaven in a chariot from Jerusalem. Building of a Mosque citing this myth and lie amounts to aggression. Therefore it is the Muslims who are occupying West Bank and not Jews. Ancient prophesy will always come true even if it takes several years, and this is a good example of Jerusalem being made the capital of Israel, the divine promised land.

        Al-fukra, know the history.
Egypt knew no Pharaohs nor Israelites and the original land of Judaism and the Israelite tribe was in ancient Arabia and North Yemen and not in Palestine although the present story was not founded on facts. The tradition of linking Judaism to Christianity as the Judeo-Christian faith and Old/New Testament has led many, mostly westerners, to believe Judaism was a western or west-influenced faith. Actually it was a faith built on Babylonian myth. Palestine (Israel) was part of western Greek/Roman Empire. Distorted translation of Hebrew book to Greek known as bible had helped disseminate the Arabic Israelite faith and stories to west. With this misconception the state of Israel has been established on Palestine, a land completely alien from the Israelite Patriarchs and their stories, supported by deluded western world. Judaism originated in ancient Southern Arabia and Northern Yemen. Jews still wear the Arabic skull cap (Kippa) and in olden days the dress too was Arabic. Judaism is nothing but one of ancient Arabia’s tribal cults. So Judaism was not meant to spread one inch beyond the tribal boundaries of ancient Arabia. Israelite theology based on the prejudiced and tribal concept of God’s chosen people couldn’t by any means aspire to be a universal. The Hebrew book was a local book of tribal tales aimed at an audience of the same tribes. Bible generously offer as a Biblical road map names of places found in South Arabia and North Yemen according to renowned Arabic geographers. A body of high profile anthropologists and historians trace the Israelite tribe back to their Arabian origin in Northern Yemen. According to them Jerusalem is originally called Dar Salam that is located near mountain Zion in Northern Yemen. There is no mountain in whole of Palestine.

        continued.
What Jews referred to as Zion in Palestine is not even a hill, just a slope. The ancient trade route cut across ancient Arabia, from North Yemen in the south to Egypt and Babylonia and India and China in the east. The Arab tribes gave protection and supplies of necessary provision and in return they were benefitted from trade exchange. But not all Arabian tribes benefitted from the Caravan trade. Some tribes located deeper into the mountainous area of North Yemen and away from the western coast were plunderers and they frequently attacked the lucrative caravan trade and loot the valuable cargo. One of the tribes were the Israelites (thieves and thugs from the very beginning). In order to crush this rebellion plunderers and to safeguard this trade route the Babylonian unleashed one of the biggest military raids deporting en masse to Babylon all the Jew tribes and others involved in attacking the caravan. After the fall of Babylon to the Persian king Cyrus the Great in 539 BCE, all exiled Jews and other tribes were granted a pardon and were free to return to their homeland in west and south ancient Arabia. After the pardon most of the Arabian tribes preferred to continue in Babylon. The only tribes that couldn’t assimilate into the new urban culture of Babylon are the Israelites. But on the other hand the captivity in Babylon has given the Israelites the golden opportunity to discover a wealth of Sumerian and Babylonian culture and mythology and embarked on writing down a new book for their tribe. Later known as the Hebrew Bible, loads of copycatted Sumerian and Babylonian profound myths were intertwined with the tribal and shallow stories of the Israelite tribes.

        continued.
They migrated to Palestine started building the Babylonian myths as their real history but still there were no Jew rulers there up to the time of creating Israel state. In ancient times there were only 20-30% Jews in Palestine and at the time of creating Israel there were only 3-5% Jews. Today more 80% of Jews in Israel are Kazak Zionist (those converted to Judaism from those days) and rest Semitic Jews. So what we’re looking at here is the Israelite/Jewish distorted version of the ancient Near Eastern history. Egypt was ruled by Kings and so called Pharaoh was another fraud. Because we’ve been envisioning the ancient world through the fake Israelite prism, we were deceived into believing that Moses was born as a prince in Egypt where he grow up and fought its king (Pharaoh) and lead the thousands of Israelite slaves out of the Nile valley a completely false story. Israel’s story is not different from Hindu stories built on ancient Greek and Roman mythology. But here the Jews made theirs monotheistic religion. The Captivity of most of Arabian tribes had been twisted into the Exclusive Captivity of the Israelites. They say all persecution and forced migration took place not due to their plundering and piracy but because of their beliefs. They are deceiving people into believe their stories. World War II was turned as an exclusive war against the Jews by Jewish propaganda machinery. There are Holocaust museum to remember this and other propaganda carried out by their media. Do we see such things about the over 60 million died during ww2 and holocaust of other races. There are enough books written by reputed historians (including Jews) debunking Israel’s mythology.

Palestinian Christians and Muslims unite against Trump’s Jerusalem. Palestinians protested by turning off the lights on the Christmas tree outside Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity, the traditional birthplace of Jesus. They together with Muslims protesting against Trump’s decision. So what kind of Christian are you Soysa. Are you one of neo-Christians who just because Jesus was a Jew lick the back of Israel Jews (Zionist) thinking they are the chosen people of God. The Jews don’t recognize Jesus as son of god or a prophet like they don’t recognize Islam. They think you all are just a slave class worshiping a dead from the chosen people of god.

This is part of the new ideology that sees SL gravitate into US Orbit; this way US will not raise HR issues. Rex Tillerson clearly said so in his views to the useless liberal arts arrogant State Department employees and busy bodies. Obey us in Foreign policy and we will view you favorably. Quid-Pro-Quo

US secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, has said Donald Trump’s “America first” approach to the world means decoupling US foreign policy from values such as human rights and freedom.

Addressing state department diplomats and staff, Tillerson said there were times when insistence that foreign countries abide by US values got in the way of the pursuit of national interests.

“I think it is really important that all of us understand the difference between policy and values,” the secretary of state, a former oil executive, said as part of what he described as an “overarching view” on Trump’s “America first” mantra.

“Our values around freedom, human dignity, the way people are treated – those are our values. Those are not our policies.

This benefits Sri Lanka under Ranil. US is working towards getting a military toehold. Reality of modern policies. US is benefitting from Trump; Obama and that arrogant Irish immigrant Samanth Power and useless Susan Rice and the Gujarati Biswal are no more. They were the ones who ruined Libya too. Trump likes Duterte of Philippines as well. New administration. SO SL has to toe the line and US will ease up on HR. Notice how different the US Embassy is now towards issues in Ceylon? Military base coming soon.

Thanks to Sanja De Silva Jayatillake for raising the plight of Palestinians.
Heads of Democratic (so-called) states have used bombing the hell out of a MidEast nation to bolster their domestic standing. Nicholas Sarkozy bombed Libya when word got round that Gaddafi funded his 2007 election. The hyenas joined in the decimation and now slaves are openly traded in Tripoli. Iraq needs no mention. Even Jimmy Carter tried the Iran hostage mission. Maybe Sanja was too young when Suez Canal was invaded. And so on………….
Palestinians have proved that their love for their traditional homeland cannot be quenched. Does this mean anything Sanja?

There is a niggling doubt as to Sanja’s aim. She did NOT raise an eyelid over the genocide of Rohingyas. How did she miss the Aluthgama pogrom or the Gintota incident?
Way way down she rubs in that MR heads the ‘Sri Lanka Committee for Solidarity with Palestine’ or something. (Anybody heard of this outfit?). The usual blah blah blah followed.
    Your slip is showing Sanja!

Forgive Sanja! The Good Lady must toe the line as set by her comrade-in-arms, you-know-who. More over, the Good Lady shows a willingness to blot out the vagaries of history. History? why DJ will give it to me. The last I heard was that The Great Liberator headed the ‘Sri lanka Freedom Party Committee for Solidarity with his crooks’.

Muslims have many countries to live so whatever the history may be give Jerusalem & surrounding land to Jews.

Muslims world over are generally driven by hatred (there might be exceptions) so what non Muslims & non Jews want to see is this prolonged war ended with victory for humanism.

The contribution of Jews to human development is far greater than that of Muslims so give them recognition by giving that land.

      Fake Real Revolutionist

You have various states in India where you can happily live. Why don’t you relocate your bum to one of the states?

“The contribution of Jews to human development is far greater than that of Muslims so give them recognition by giving that land.”

Could we have a comparative study on Jewish/Muslim contribution citing credible references.
