Did the Russians give to you?

No, it was holding his sarong up, he just transferred it to his neck. I hope Putin appreciates the valuable advice he will be given on democracy.

Mr Amaasiri, besides the tie ,did you notice the Cheshire grin by the father in the background ? Once again the Sirisena,s are at it
Father and Son go globe trotting cementing relationships for now and for the future and we sit here warming our backsides !!

          Father and Son go…

Tricks of the trade, Sri Lankan politics, being taught to son by father…

After all, Mahinda Rajapajsa did teach the tricks of the trade to his son Namal and Yoshita, and they did go overboard..

What about beating up a night club… that was new trick of Daham Sirisena, learned from Namal Rajapaksa and BBS.

      Daham Sirisena

Congrats, Good to see you with powerful world leaders.

What did you negotiate with him?

Did you, your father and the functionaries, other b***s carriers who accompanied your father negotiate an arms deal. Well Trump has just bombed Russia’s close ally may be tempted to poke fun at Puttin, hence Russia needs a lot of sophisticated weapons to ward off uncle sam’s advances.

Did you promise to sell Puttin the most advanced weapon systems manufactured in this island? Do they include Missile Defense Systems (MDS) which could target and shoot down incoming stealth aircraft, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles.

Did you also promise to give them UN Human Right Charter, ….. and provide the services of war veterans such military experts Kamal, Svendra, Jagath Dias, Sarath Weerasekera, ……

      Puttin needs them.

Did you also meet Puttin’s daughters Yekaterina Katerina Tikhonova Putina & Mariya Putina?

Probably they are too busy pursuing their own chosen careers.

So, what are you here for?

Da Ham: I am promoting my Hameedia suit.

          Thanks for the clarification.

You must be joking. Daham can not handle oligarchs and mafia!

Father, son and the rest of the gang went to Russia to discuss buying weapons and begging for investments and to borrow money. Maybe a barter of tea for Migs next time?

You must be very proud about yourself; because, you still manage to publish your useless comments. It’s a news website from Indian Subcontinent which couldn’t get a gold medal during the last two Olympic Games. But it has two billion people. Oh well, Indian subcontinent can’t achieve that much; if most of them are like you.

Your comment has nothing to do with the article ‘Russian President Vladimir Putin Meets Daham Sirisena.’ But it has been published. This clearly shows lack of professionalism in media. The Colombo Telegraph editor’s mind and heart are darker than his skin colour. Therefore, he and his future generation can’t compete with the Westerners, Chinese, Japanese, Singaporeans, Malaysians etc.

You become curse to this country when you have a position in the government, private sector or in media. Basically, you haven’t evolved enough to be a decent human being. I rest my case.

        1. “Sri Lanka has been fighting since the independence, because of utter foolish and selfish idiots.”

Supporting data, with Sri Lankan IQ of 79, and Singapore with 108, given below.

National IQ Scores – Country Rankings

        http://www.photius.com/rankings/national_iq_scores_country_ranks.html

The intelligence scores came from work carried out earlier this decade by Richard Lynn, a British psychologist, and Tatu Vanhanen, a Finnish political scientist, who analysed IQ studies from 113 countries, and from subsequent work by Jelte Wicherts, a Dutch psychologist.

        2. “Don’t expect this to change dramatically.”

Supporting data is from evolution. Evolutionary changes takes millennia, and even millions of years for example from Primate to Homo-Sapiens.

Doesn’t matter who paid Daham Sirisena’s flight ticket. Daham was there because of the President Sirisena. This is nothing but nepotism. Doesn’t matter what they promise in elections; they can’t think straight, because their hearts and minds are darker than their skin colour. Therefore, they and their future generation can’t compete with the Westerners, Russians, Japanese, Chinese, Singaporeans etc.

I have been living here since 2015, but impossible to get decent job. I have a business degree and business diplomas from Australia. I have been working as an Accountant. I have lived in four continents and traveled to more than 25 countries to understand cultures, languages, religions and political systems. I have read more than three hundred books to understand world history, cultures, languages, capitalism, democracy, communism, global economics and international politics. I have also done two researches.

My First Research Paper 2007–2009: “What are the stumbling blocks for Asians to prosper as the world’s majority in Asia as well as in the world” I have chosen this thesis, and the research materials; because the billions of Asians are divided, and they don’t have a protocol to unite Asia to move forward. Chinese have their own idea, so do Indians, Japanese and Koreans. Plus the Western Universities won’t offer this kind of thesis to help the Asians to dominate Asia or the world.

My Second Research Paper 2009–2011: “What made the Western countries so powerful, and what it takes them to keep their power” Again I have chosen this thesis, as well as the research materials; because the Western countries won’t offer this kind of thesis to tell the world how they have been ruling the world, and how are they intend to carry-on forever to rule the world.

” I don’t much care what the guy does. He seems to be improving, but this is not news, please!”

Sri Lanka defines youth as between 15-29 years.

The youth population of this island is about 4.4 million in 2011.

The question is why should a political brat benefit from a position the dad holds whereas most youth in this country are living in despair. How many of them will have the same opportunity to travel to Russia for free and meet head of the large country?

Will Sirisena and Ranil make arrangements for some of the poorest young people to have the same opportunity that this political brat have been having since the dad was voted in by the people?

I thought the brat was on a trade mission to promote/sell Sri Lankan manufactured sophisticated arms and ammunition, war machines, Command and control systems, …. to Puttin.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

Don’t visit Russia during winter months for the simple reason that your tiny willy might disappear altogether until you get out of the country – I am told. You may have to manage without it during your winter blues, might make you doubly depressed.

Never mind the willy. Visiting Russia does not interest me and even less if I am expected to meet Putin.

You are correct about my depression and I also suffer from Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I belong to the minority of victims who react with aggression. Luckily only verbal aggression.

“I am a simple Veddah who doesn’t entertain such big ideas.”

Yes Sinhala_Man, you’re right, “this is not news”.

If Maithri were not a father, the critiques would reason the same to support that he couldn’t understand the grievances of other youth.

Now that he is a father, being a ‘typical Sri Lankan father’, he is trying to make use of a lifetime opportunity putting his fatherhood first making his words mere lip service.

My personal opinion is, it is somewhat acceptable a president being a ‘typical Sri Lankan Father’ as long as he is not a typical MR, is still a huge improvement to present-day Sri Lankan politics.

Moscow’s interference into Lankawe is much more accelerated phase than it’s meddling in Syria.
Georgia, Crimea, Ukraine, Syria……and it is opening a new front in Lankawe
Moscow believes if its send its submarines to Hangbangtota, they will reinforce China. Sonia’s and Ex-State Secretary Kerry’s on their countries foreign policies are severely flawed.

America has many issues. UN will be quarreling about Syria and North Korea for Long time to come, without any useful decision. Russia supported Syria to go for this new Chemical Bombing had stemmed from its confidence that it had fully killed UN’s initiation on controlling the Assad using Chemical weapons. Russia repeatedly bombed the UN convoys of aids to refugees. Russia simply denies all and keeps continuing its violations. One by one Russia broke all agreement in Syria and sent its junkyard aircraft carrier Admiral Kramek to finish off its game in Syria. Now Syria, did this chemical attack, is simply denying it in Russian style.

I am not sure if President Trump is too early or waiting will allow Russia to go unlimited in its game. The best acid test of Trump’s action comes like this. Iraq was a mess up of one of the weakest president Bush. Friends have gone far away from US. Syria has to be done in a clean manner and democracy has to be restored, unlike supporting a corrupted fellow Al Malik, or any other extremist groups. NATO need for this again. UN is garbage. To that President Trump should thaw his relationship with Europe and please them. How much Trump can be success in cleaning Syria is on how much he can woo Europe. If doesn’t deal with Syria cleanly, America will be blamed for Oil exploration.
A clean action in Syria is need to stop Russia wooing Yahapalanaya Comedies.

expected by everybody and Namal was brought
into politics to show off, not second to none
and to claim ownership to Hambantota to the
end of the world . What is this ‘out of the

crazy as he is not mentioned anywhere as the
political asset of Sirisena but imitating the
sons of predecessors like an outbreak of an

The parents could persuade the Armed forces to recruit him, but then all three forces have their own share of crooks, killers, racists, thugs, …… one more brat especially with President’s son is too many.

      Maya,
if you have anything to say against Daham S you are welcome, but leave Putin alone. Putin is the President of Russia and far ahead than the the Thugs in your land. Putin’s education and experience is far beyond the buffoonry of your corrupt PM and President. If your country had a Putin as the leader it would have been far ahead than your grass eating politicians and jellyfish leaders.
Yes ! Thugs as for these kind of people they are available in plenty in your land in different modes, sizes, colors, and backgrounds and whose in only intention is to gobble you people up in every corrupt way possible.
President Putin is a refined person, refined to the core of his very inself and your PM and President are unrefined, uncouth, back boneless, selfish, self centered, and tools for the corrupt.
God help your country the day people like you are left to eat grass because corruption permits it to happen. Take care and ponder on your future.

“Why worry my dear when this family is going to be history before long.”

Is Gota going to mount a Military coup assisted by Retired Navy Admiral Sarath to take over the state and its governance?

MS is just following the SL political tradition of taking the entire family while on official tours abroad. In my opinion, JR, & maybe Ranil, have been the only leaders who have conducted foreign delegations with dignity as leaders in the history of recent politics.

If I remember correctly, Premadasa, when he was only the PM, took his son & daughter to UK while on an official visit, just before Charles’s wedding, & managed to get an invitation from the queen to attend the wedding. Only heads of State were invited but I suppose the queen felt bad as Premadasa had timed his audience with the her just prior to the wedding. Anyway, he took his son & daughter to the wedding reception as well, against the advise of the protocol officers at the SL high commission, who dared not go against his wishes. Apparently, they were the only kids at the reception. In his ignorance of diplomatic etiquette, the Premadasas became the subject of merriment of many diplomats, not to mention the poor standing of SL among the International community for the diplomatic faux pas. Anyway, Premadasa jnr is now the prince in waiting, so I suppose MS is just following the tradition.

Daham gave him advice on how to cope with the US Cruise Missile strike in Syria. He also is giving Putin advice on how to increase the price of a barrel of oil to over 100USD/BBL

Daham is an intellectual giant compared to the yakkos like Anura B, Ravi J or even CBK or Sunethra. You Sri Lankans are envious of his intellect and that is why you write here. He was educated in England and is currently working on a PhD in Aerospace Engineering like Rohitha Baby and also he is at least intellectually superior to Namal Baby too.

I hope and pray one day he will lead Sri Lanka.

He cant write a correct sentense even in Sinhala. According to the first sentense Putin had an official visit in Russia.

And you clearly cannot spell. IT IS SENTENCE. Gosh did they not teach you proper English Spelling at Rowyell kolleyge?

As a parent MS is trying hard to direct Daham away from his present lifestyle. We wish him success.

Did MR set a good example to his family? Was the 98% law school exam score an example to follow? White vans?

The three prongs of the trident of Muslim-Sinhala government uses over Tamils are the Tamil Paramilitary, Muslim Male Chauvinist writers and leaders caught on felonies and the Aappa Diplomacy of its Foreign Services. These three have been fine-tuned as alternatives, after Pirapaharan stopped the annual celebrations of Pogroms, by demanding eye for eye.
Out of them, cheapest and most lethal is the Tamil Para Militaries. It was used to devastate Individual Tamil Families in Large scale, murder, loot and rape women and children. That was most heavily used item one time, but has lost its teeth now as IC is watching Lankawe. The oldest and most expensive one is Aappa Diplomacy by Foreign Ministry. Because of its handsome perks & benefits, almost all of its employees are Sinhalese. Foreign services used highly intelligent Tamil and Muslim coolies too, holding them on leashes. To get the maximum benefit out of Aappa Diplomacy, it is used at the height of ignorance while the new relationship is at its tender bud.
Other than with China, it has been fully successful with every other government. Indian government has been the most foolish victim, roasted to charcoal by this technique. By the blunder of having employed Narayan, Shiv Shankar Menon, Krishna … like self helps, Sonia Manmohan Singh team could not escape from the Inchcape rock, but kept closing it until struck by disaster. To bring Sonia’s India under its control, Lankawe navy killed 750 Indian Tamils Fishermen. At the end, very idiotically and innocently, PM Manmohan Singh said “If we tell Sri Lankan Government is not listening, so what we can do?” No other governments were slaved by Lankawe like Indian government underwent. India is still not being able to get Lankawe to sign ETCA.

America has been punching but taking serious blows back too. New King had called president Trump to abolish the Resolution 30/1. Sec. Kerry as the last one in their side, America seems to be has fished with its lessons and may not fall in that trap in future. It appears to be not caught in New King’s miracle of mirage this time.
But when Aappa diplomacy was used on China first time, Defense Ministry Media Center Computers went down. It had to be re-tuned to work in China. Yahapalanaya came to power by China bashing; So China used loan & interest, instead of computers, on Yahapalanaya. Lankawe turned around and sent its Aappa diplomats to China. They went there with abundant supply of bottles of Sirimavo Brand sympathy tears, poured it on the feet President Xi Jinpink and blamed on West and America for everything. Believing that tears, China volunteered to help them beat the West. Now, all of their new contracts are watered down to the liquidity level of UNHRC resolutions and no sticking pastiness in them. Lankawe is still not ready to sign them, even if China retains the ability of computer hacking. Further, who knows what show is waiting to be released after signing? This is how China has been brought under control of Appa Diplomacy. Hereafter they cannot touch the computers; nor can they beat up for loan and interest.
New comer Russia is being invited to treat with Aappa Diplomacy. Russia’s convulsion to dipping its nose in Lankawe matters is derived to support China’s Interests. Lankawe would use Russia in UN SC, but not that guaranteed. China is enough for it. So Russia will be weaker than India, at its low.

Putin spied for President Trump. But President Trump’s independently thinking and acting has taken Russia by Surprise.

These people have no shame. ‘First Lady’, First Family’ why do they ape the West? When did this nonsense start? With Mrs Premadasa and her tennis racquet? If we had an honest umpire he would have asked for new balls.

Now MS forgot about yahapalanaya. He justifies corruption and war-crimes and saves the offenders. He dreams about contesting again. He promotes his son into politics. He just resembles MR. RW controls the remand prisons only.

Maithri has disappointed in some respects, but you exaggerate his failings.

We must each ask ourselves how much confusion we cause by jabbering without purpose, and when we comment on various bits of policy, We (I mean the public, not so much myself personally) say contradictory things.

Such behaviour by the public causes confusion, and encourages politicians to go for populist measures. I ask you, how many Sinhalese have a consistent and credible policy to solve the ethnic problems that have been dogging us since about 1955. Yes, I said 1955, NOT 1956. Blame Banda, but also think of how Sir John (do you know that his father was actually executed for the murder of his brother-in-law? I will come back on that if you challenge that statement), and JR Jayawardena also stoked the fires of racism.

Let us speak out honestly on issues that matter, not spew forth envious rot like this. You just cannot stomach a simple, basically honest man being President, and enjoying some of the fruits, in ways in which we may not.

Just nasty frustration on your part. We have all failed to achieve some of our ambitions in life. For instance, I’ve been teaching English all my life. I’d have loved to visit England because I know so much about the place from my reading. I’ve never been out of Asia, and I am, even now, a genuine village man.

As for Russia, last night I downloaded this, perhaps that is illegal! I’ve known the work for sixty years; now it is on my pen drive and will open as a glorious video on my daughter’s LED TV. Take a look at it. Don’t be envious of my daughter for having an up-to-date TV, or me for having had an education that encompassed such things, or Yu Ji Wang for being young, pretty and full of life.

As for other things Russian, I’ve read lots of Tolstoy and Dostoevsky in English translation. Do some of those things, instead of being a miserable grumbler (please don’t take that personally – not all of that may apply to you – but this is one of our basic problems).

“Socialism” has become a catchword; actually it can be equated with envy. NOT the way forward!

        Dear villageman,

I’m sorry, I’ve not given you the link to the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto that I referred to as having downloaded.

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yue6Cb5OULM

It will do you good to see how full of life this pianist kid Yu Ji is. Why don’t we spend more time admiring (or ogling at!) such persons? In many respects the quality of life is going down, but these advances in technology open out so many vistas we could only have dreamt of fifty ears ago.

Daham the gamaya has gone to town. Yes, if he misbehaves in front of Putin, Putin will slap his arse personally and put him back on the ox cart and send him back to his village to continue his gamaya behaviour. On the tie matter, yes as Atticus said here, it has come off his sarong and gone around his neck. Good to see proper use of a tie.

It’s time for the people to take charge as this revolution to oust MR in 2015 has produced nothing other than for ego centric politicians serving their family’s interests. What credentials does “daham” or “damned” have? What will world leaders think of our country and the administration?

Sri Lanka the land for jokers.

      Dear Plato,

I have said many things above which may seem to excuse the behaviour of Maithri and Daham. The point I’ve been trying to make is that we should always have expected those in this family to have different ways of doing things.

However, by highlighting these so called failings, we are allowing ourselves to forget the much more important issues that we are faced with. Do I really have to start listing them?

By reading the above comments you can see how people distrust and hate our politicians, in this case the present man. Some try to compare late Ravi Jayewardene to present day presidential off-springs. These low-life, half breads are no match for great Ravi J.

    What a plonker !!
MR towed his son NR like this, but at least NR was an elected MP.
This one is just a night club bashing tow rag.

All SL politicos are only interested in their pockets, own family & friends

Hope & pray a tsunami or an earthquake will wipe out all SL politicians (national & local) & their families.

    God bless SL

Don’t understand why Native Vedda is complaining so much……..Daham baby…..the pinnacle of yahapalanaya (sorry Ranil….we are still waiting for a heir from you) is receiving such a prominence……NV should be very happy……..like Sarath Wijesuriya, that male nurse, Kumar David, Piece Council, Policy Alternatives, etc…etc.
