This cartoon is ambiguous: Ethnic violence intended, agreed but by who against whom? I see North East the target. Tamils versus Muslims? Those days are long past. Historically ethnic violence is by the Sinhalese against Tamils mostly, but against Muslims also in the recent years.

Moment government published gazette notification allowing burials, Athaulla from east said at the meeting of heads of political parties, it Muslims are given jobs and benefits of development, there is no need for provincial council. Government doesn’t feel shame of any criticism. This morning News says government is going ahead with this divide and rule techniques. Mannar is the place where Rishard flew on Navy heli and oversaw the attack on the Court because a Christian judge placed a injunction on outside Muslims fishermen fishing in locals shores. Old Royals used that as a leash on Rishard, but Mannar people didn’t receive justice on that. So the Christians’ wound is still open. This type of poisoning can easily penetrate through those wounds. Government used Rapist Army and STF to cremate a Southern Bald Head in Muthaveli. Same way Gnanam went and buried a Bald Head’s body in Vedukunari temple ground.
