Tamils To Rally Against President Rajapaksa Today During His Visit To UN In New York

Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam (TGTE) announced today that a rally will be held outside the United Nations headquarters in New York to protest Sri Lankan President Rajapaksa‘s visit to the UN General Assembly today.

Mahinda Rajapaksa

“This rally is to alert the UN leaders that among them is a war criminal posing as a Statesman and to highlight the gravity of the international crimes that the Sri Lankan President have committed against Tamils.” said TGTE.

TGTE also to urge UNSG Ban Ki-Moon appoint an International Commission of Inquiry under UN Article 99. UN Article 99 give authority for the UN Secretary General to appoint an International Commission of Inquiry.

The rally will be held today, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. (outside UN in New York).

“We urge the UN not to allow the Sri Lankan President to use his appearance at the UN to sanitize his barbaric international crimes. His is not just a war criminal, but a perpetrator of genocide” said a TGTE spokesperson.

TGTE said; “According to a UN Internal Review report over 70,000 Tamils were killed in five months due to deliberate and intense carpet bombing of areas designated by the government as “no-fire zones”, where Tamils assembled for safety.

“The Sri Lankan Government also restricted food and medicine for Tamils, resulting in large numbers of people dying from starvation and many of the injured bleeding to death.

“There are currently over 90,000 Tamil war widows. The Tamil women, especially female bread winners & their daughters are subject to sexual abuse by the Sri Lankan security forces.

“In addition to the killings, thousands of Tamils have disappeared, women are abused, large numbers of Tamils are imprisoned without trial and abductions are continuing to this day.

“Due to the shear number of civilian killings by the Sri Lankan Security forces, the UN Human Rights Council passed two resolutions on accountability for these crimes and is continuing the review.

“The Sri Lankan President is desperately trying to stall UN Human Rights Council and actions under UN Article 99 and is using international meetings like UN General Assembly to solicit support to protect him from the War Crimes Investigation.

“We are urging UN Secretary General to not to protect him but to appoint a Commission of Inquiry under UN Article 99.”

“UN leaders should ask Sri Lankan President about the UN Panel report that documented mass killings by his troops and the three documentaries in the “Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields” series produced by UK’s Channel 4 TV.

“Please remind him that mass killing of civilians is a war crime and a crime against humanity and refuse to protect him. If he claims innocence, then urge him to face international investigation to prove just that. Given the ongoing structural genocide we are urging the International Community to establish an International Protection Mechanism.

Tamils were singled out to face these abuses simply and solely on account of their Tamil nationality. Members of the Sri Lankan Security forces are almost exclusively from the Sinhalese ethnic community and the victims are all from the Tamil ethnic community.”  said a TGTE spokesperson.

Amidst such a protest one will surely see the laughable flag of the LTTE – a terrorist organisation, bar none, whose direct assassination of countless democratically elected Tamil politics will leave them one of the most hypocritical as well. The frustration of the Tamil diaspora to the clinical and efficient removal of their hit man on the ground is understandable – and of course, the thought of them leaving their comfortable second homes to take his place would be unthinkable.

Thank you – but at the same time, there is the dangers of the one-sidedness of Sri Lankan politics looms. The main UNP has self-destructed, albeit aided by MR, thanks to a Teflon-coated Ranil who does not have the self-respect acknowledge that buck stops with him. The ludicrous series of defeats, especially now that the election process is clean and transparent, would demand the departure of the so-called leader – not so for him.

I personally blame him to a high degree for the ills and excesses of the present regime who has been allowed to march on – corrupt and reeking of megalomania. The checks and balances must be restored for democracy to work – and there is no possibility of this happening till Ranil is on the woodpile.

I agree with most of you say pal. I dont think it is fair to bash Ranil as well. MR has been very successful in destroying anything he sees as a challenge to him.

yes we need an alternative to mahinda.

You misunderstand me – what I say was that without some opposition, any government will go astray. Whilst there is much to be admired about what the present regime has achieved, they have been given too much of a free hand that has resulted in debacles like Mattala and stadia in the wilderness.

Do not underestimate MR’s popularity – it is in my opinion the highest gained by any politician on a personal basis; and I am talking of Premadasa et al. The Sinhala Buddhist majority of 70% are rock solid behind him and removing such a force will be daunting task for any party, let alone the UNP.

MaRa junta and the security forces responsible for the Genocide of Tamils must be subjected to impartial international investigation.

Only then will the 147,000 innocent men women and children starved, denied of medicine and medical help, and mercilessly killed; and the sexually abused and murdered women will rest in peace.

    War criminals to the Hague!

@Thiru… Problem is NO ONE ELECTED THESE LTTE emigre criminals.. Just like the LTTE who claimed every Tamil loved them.. But they never went for a free and fair election to prove this point.. Rather Kept the Love of the Tamils at the Point of a AK-47…. Money making Criminals of the INT LTTE who represent nobody but their own interest.. Are they still collecting MONEy for the CAUSE???? What other Propaganda and lies are they spinning these days.. We all know the TRUE ‘147,000 innocent men women and children starved, denied of medicine and medical help, and mercilessly killed; and the sexually abused and murdered women will rest in peace.”’ Really last time they said its was 200,000, then its was 300.000.. No one in the world believes these lies any more..just like they wanted tamils to boycott the elections..The dire predictions that the Sri Lanka Army would use its overwhelming presence in the province to influence the outcome of the election proved incorrect.. even the HIGH voter turn out and the Results stunned the TNA..

Don’t forget the tens of thousands of diaspora Tamils who funded the torment of their brethren in Sri Lanka. They too must be brought to book.

        Negev,

Check with your own Ambassador in the US.

He reassured us all that he is absolutely sure that the LTTE supporters in the Diaspora was less than 1 or 2 percent at most, and that the rest of the Tamil Diaspora was aginst the LTTE and were just being bullied in to donations.

He was sure of this based on all the unending calls he used to receive from the Diaspora on a daily basis.

Did you guys decide to change the story now? Was the Ambassador lying then?

adey pawam! LTTE has forces these fellows to fund. pawam!

I think Rudrakumaran, and that woman who wrote letters here who went on collecting funds for LTTE must be so bad fellows. Forcing our little kumars and his friends to give money. :(

            Ado “sad” sach!

Seems like you have a comprehension problem. Well, what else would one expect from a grunt, unemployable otherwise!

Let me help clarify — you need to ask that question from your Ambassador in the US, because that was his position.

If this is still too tough to understand, I will try and get that translated in suwabasha for your benefit.

I am sure your valient efforts as the grunt is appreciated by the hamus. If only you could comprehend a little bit more of logic and language – but then you possibly would have found a better source of making a living.

first of all i am very contented person.

              1. If a US ambassador ever told anything like that please post a link to such source here. I cant help you if you are unable to come up with an arguement and I cant go and look for evidence for a claim you make. Got it? do u now understand how hollow what you say is?

              2. US banned LTTE monery coolecting groups like in 2007-08.
              3. Majority of the LTTE terrorist funders are not in US but are in countries like Canada, UK and Australia and european countries. US has a ver small Lankan tamil population. So how can a US ambassodors statement is relevant to these countries? :D
              4. Are you really want us to believe Tamils in West didnt fund LTTE :D really i mean really :D

And does US ambassodar knows he said something like that ;)

Between it is only weal sould like you who talk about other ppl’s careers when cornered. Please grow up man!

              “Sad” sach,

1.Here is a link to one of the occasions where he made that statement. It was at George Washington University: Homeland Security Policy Institute: http://www.gwumc.edu/hspi/events/SriLankaART.cfm
“Regarding the role of the Tamil Diaspora, the Ambassador stated that only one percent of that group had supported the LTTE. I guess the proof possibly makes you even ”sadder.”

2.Yes, US Banned Money collecting. That just shows US in fact did not believe the canard! You don’t think they banned it because of the 1% – do you? That was my point.

3.He was talking of “Tamil Diaspora” – you want to limit it to “Tamil Diaspora in the US”, be my guest.

              4. Of course I believe Tamils in the West and East and South and North, all donated funds – only because the Tamil Diaspora was convinced that there was subjugation of the Tamils. And if not for the banning, even a much, much larger proportion of Diaspora would have possibly voluntarily contributed. Isn’t it in fact that fear that led to the banning to start with?

I would hope the US Ambassador is much better read/informed than you are – but I will let you figure out if it is likely or not that the US Ambassador would have heard about Jaliya’s statement.

You re-confirm my impression that there is a comprehension issue here. Let me spell out my concern for your benefit.

You guys keep changing stories like it is no body’s business. And the lies are finally coming to roost.

When you are afraid of the Diaspora’s overwhelming support, you mislead the internationals with chaps like Jaliya making these ridiculous statements. Then at your convenience, when the civilized nation (Pillay for instance) questions the appropriateness of your Governance within the parameters of a civilized world, suddenly it is the whole, massive powerful Diaspora that is funding and generating such misgivings about the country.

As soon as any foreign government takes you to task for alleged “undemocratic” behavior, the Diaspora is portrayed as these mega-buck businessmen buying up all the parliamentarians in the US, Canada, Norway, Australia, where-have-you.
The, at your convenience, the Diaspora becomes nothing more than a gang of janitors. Then, you turn back and send teams from the Commerce secretariat with a begging bowl to the same Diaspora asking for investment funds -just to collect the badly needed foreign currency to import sports cars for the prince-lings!
When will you guys grow up to stop these rotation of convenient canards, and instead help straighten-up the despicable governance – ultimately it is hurting your own country as it is this gullibility that is enabling the kleptocracy to rob the nation left and right, in front of your open-eyes!

Now you tell me who needs to grow up!

Glad to be of service educating you – hope your future comments are based on some “knowledge”, rather than mere regurgitation of what was fed from the palace.

Who is going to take the responsibility for the genocide of Singhalese, Muslims and their own Tamils by the LTTE? They are the people who is going to have this protest with the name of Trans National Government …WTF:)

“Pot calling kettle you are black”

They want to revert the emerging peace and reconcillation with their own elected council and all. NP election and the appoinment of Justice Wigneshvaran is like pricking to their eyes. Their luxury lives in Aus, UK and Canada would largely depend on the condition of SL. It is simple as that.

Peace in SL—–> no more luxury for those abroad
Problems (or just showing) in SL——> luxury for them

This is no different to LTTE act of taking their own Tamil people as a human shield. These people take all SL Tamils as a human shield. Don’t be so selfisf…..This dispora regime is more dangerous to tamils than the MARA regime.

Thiru, Who used all the past Ceasefire agreements to Rearm and Regroup, and continue in their attack against the Army, refusing to come to the Conference table? The LTTE wanted to pursue their dream of a Separate State, and did not care for any other solutions. They are responsible for all the Tamil People killed during the War.

The dire predictions that the Sri Lanka Army would use its overwhelming presence in the province to influence the outcome of the election proved incorrect.. even the HIGH voter turn out and the Results stunned the TNA.. and even gave the UPFA a second in the North compared to the more traditional UNP..

IT just EXPOSED THE LIES AND THE PROPAGANDA BY THE INT LTTE EMIGRES AND THEIR GROUPS.. AND NOW THESE INT LTTE EMIGRES DONT REPRESENT THE TAMILS OF THE NORTH ITS THE TNA.. AS NO ONE ELECTED THESE LTTE EMIGRES.. WHO RATHER WANTED TO SEE THE LTTE SAVED BECAUSE THEY LOVED DEMOCRACY SO MUCH.. But the UPFA came second… rather Than the UNP.. so some people voted for the UPFA in the North.. But no one voted for these INT LTTE emigres who only a few months ago shouted to BOYCOTT these elections…. These INT LTTE emigres only care about their Wealth and their Families own benefit.. Their children were kept safe and given the Luxury of the west while they shouted others to send their kids to die.. Money laundering criminals..

Sri Lanka Army would use its overwhelming presence – It did not change the outcome of the election. But the army intimidated the voters and the TNA contestants.

“Sri Lanka’s military harassed and intimidated ethnic minority Tamil voters and candidates during the first ever local elections in the former warzone, foreign observers confirmed on Tuesday.” http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/asiapacific/election-monitors-accuse/824606.html

No need for Tamils to instigate racial hatred, the Sinhala/Buddhists are born with it and they are very proud about it. I would say, they are natural born racists.

I really don’t believe the country’s situation will improve significantly, because the leaders aren’t smarter than the previous leaders. Thirty years ago China wasn’t even in the picture, but it is now. The situation has got complicated more than ever before, but the leaders are not smarter. Therefore, people will continue to suffer in the country. Election does not mean anything, people had elections in the 1970’s and the 1980’s, still the country fell into a brutal civil war. It seems the country and the people are cursed, because the people and the leaders don’t give a damn to the country’s intellectuals. Blessed people value the knowledge and appreciate the people who have the knowledge; but the cursed people and the cursed leaders disregard the knowledge, and ignore the people who have knowledge. The powerful countries make sure that the Sri Lankan leaders stay away from the Intellectuals who can think for the country, in order to use the foolish leaders for their benefits.

The stupidest thing that the diaspora can do now is to hold the tiger flag and protest. People in the North have voted not for a separate state but for a federal rule within Sri Lanka and not outside. The diaspora which is frozen in time should back out. People in the NOrth no what they want and the politicians there know how to provide it. British Tamil Forum, Trans National Govt of TE, Global Tamil Forum, diaspora all but out. If you are so interested then go to Sri Lanka and fight from there democratically. If you unnecessarily anger Rajapakse its not but the Tamils in the North who are going to suffer.

How stupid can people get? The Tamils have shown the GOSL how they feel.
Basil R has responded. Now let the tamils of Sri Lanka get on with the job. It needs compromise and empathy without interference from outside elements.

Tamils have a legitimate reason to protest. They have thousands missing in the North, no accountability, and they are still treated as second class citizens in some aspects. However, if they want to prove their point, it is better to distance themselves from pro LTTE lobbies. It will always be convenient for this criminal government to dismiss every protest as pro LTTE. This government constantly dismisses any call investigation or criticism regarding the North, by blaming LTTE sympathizers. It is as if neutral Tamils do not exist, and have no right to ask for accountability.

Dhaksha you said “they (Tamils) are still treated as second class citizens in some aspects” Can you please give an example as to why you say this? who treats Tamils as second class citizens? This should be known and solved immediately!

There is a structural genocide done by rajapaksa government and had been proved with perfect evidence . And must punish him.

      0

what is the structural genocide done by MR?
      And proofs?

Are the tamils found in colombo, north and rest of SL some Tamil pretenders that MR has planted? Did sinhala people vote in North?

His bro unofficial Vice President Basil says that as they have won NP, that the Govt will not help the Tamils financially to improve their Province. It is better for this foolish minister to declare North as a separate state for them to look after their own business. MR ,weerawansa, JHU, Gunadasa etc is a real racialist group of Co. They never can bring any solution to ethnic problem. Only UNP or DP can solve the problem in SL.

Don’t write crap what Basil said was that they will work with the TNA. Please stop writing lies!

This will further boost the image of the President at home and damage the efforts in bringing in a Political Resolution to the problem. The President for whatever reason enjoys a clear mandate and his popularity rate is ever increasing among the majority. If this type of “protest rallies” are held abroad against a leader of such popularity, just imagine the reactions of the people of the country. This type of ill-advised and politically disastrous actions will not bring any type of solutions to a problem.

When will this “Diaspora” learn and act in a responsible manner? Isn’t it time they learn and desist from furthering brutality.

Douglas sadly you live in fools paradise or you are one of rajapassa’s asslickers. In MR’s own words the west does not invite him but like Sudan he just attends UN, China, Belarus. Either MR and his goons relinquish power or the whole country will slide- it just moves slowly but surely.

Ask Dayan what he thinks of MR now, after six-years of relentless boot-licking just so as to sip unending glasses of Champaign at the Government’s expense.

Now that the Champagne fiesta is denied, Dayan’s recent description is that MR is an impotent, pathetic excuse for a leader, no more than an “industrial strength vacuum cleaner of votes, totally powerless puppet on a string even within his own Government that has been thrust into a totalitarian, ruthless, militaristic rule — I am sure you can guess who Dayan thinks is controlling the puppet strings, although Dayan is too “bashful” to name him!

UN Panel of Experts alleged both the government and LTTE of committing war crimes though the former drew harsh criticism for starving and killing civilians including the babies. Hoisting Tiger flags with some explanations will not pull wool over the eyes of the world. By all means do protest aganst alleged war crimes and violation of human rights. What really happened was genocide against ethnic Tamils but UN and international community focus on lesser crime as otherwise the perpetrators will be taken to International Criminal Court in Hague.

      “Hoisting Tiger flags”
If it was a tiger flag only then the western police does not need your input to arrest them immediately. The west and its media is not SL.
The point here is where is the money to run the Northern Province- the army is sitting on it for the benefit of themselves and familial.
In Rajaporkistans own words the west is not inviting him for a good reason- not accountable and transparent.

How is MR going to account for Navi Pillai’s comments on erosion of democracy. Moreover, how is he going to account for the attack on journalist and a prominent TNA candidate in Jaffna?

These TGTE fellows are donkeys who dont know reality

in the 1st place all those deaths could have been prevented if LTTE didnt break away from peace talks in 2003 under Ranil, didnt prevent the North from voting in the 2005 election and didnt block the water to Mavil-aru area where were these idiots when those events took place

LTTE was no better than the Govt they accuse of many things

To douglas: Anybody who believes that the protest will further boost up the President`s image should be a joker. What he already has is an image bloated up by imbeciles like you . Its inside is hollow. He is not that popular as you imagine. Most of the educated people entrapped in this hellhole – evidently even some of his own Ministers – hate him for ruining this country in every way imaginable.

Life is so dull for these TGTE mutes, they take this occasion to party.
OK Rudra, have a good party & shout untill hoarse but nothing will move.
    Enjoy the party.

Gota, basil, army, navy, air force.ambassadors as well as the supporters abroad gave Mahinda a rosy picture. They were lying.

The support at home was through the gun, money, kicking, murdering,
    threats and kidnapping.
Well, the Tamils have shown their courage.Let the singhala south show their mettle that is if they are not satsfied with Mahinda’s govt.

Did weliveriya and surrounding villages vote for UPFA?If they did here lies the answer.

Independent of what tamils srilankens share here, we the dissidents to this regime know that MR has now proved the other way around. We the nation have no functioning judiciary under his administration to go on saying that we could investigate war crimes locally. As tamils and all other opposition groups reiterated – he has now reached to the point that there is no other way than allowing international courts to investigate the war crimes in the country. This as many believe will be the first step reconciliation to become a reality.

      “Defeating LTTE was a crime”

No but bribing LTTE to win presidential election was crime.

Killing innocent unarmed civilians is also crime better known as war crime and crime against humanity.

I believe I have explained this issue most satisfactorily and hope you will not ask the same stupid question again.

Killing innocent civilians …. both LTTE and Sri Lankan government are equally to be blamed. LTTE used them as a shield and the government did not care about its citizens. 50-50 both parties.

Velupillai Prabhakaran and his family got their Fair share at Nanthikandal for Genocide of Innocent Sinhala and Tamil people.

Other White flag crooks are awaiting for their fair share but hoodwinking and evading arrest.

“Other White flag crooks are awaiting for their fair share but hoodwinking and evading arrest.”

How true, most of war criminals are hiding behind diplomatic postings.

            “For how long…”

Not for long, until natural justice catch up them or just after changes have taken place in geopolitics.

However, it would be interesting to note, in Bangladesh war criminals are being charged, found guilty and sentenced to life or death. The prosecution is taking place after 42 years. Can you believe it?

            Heard of Bangladesh before?

Dear Javi: You saw and experienced the “Fools Paradise” that the Diaspora and the LTTE created. For your information, they were more responsible for bringing MR to power with a massive mandate to eradicate the “Tiger Terror” than any other party. If you or anyone else do not realize that reality, I would still say you live in that Fools Paradise. In my opinion, if this reality is not realized and change the course of action and behavior, you are still going to suffer and give this regime much more strength and backing of the ultra nationalist factions. This is what I wanted to impress upon you “diaspora”. The recently concluded Provincial Councils election results pointed towards a marked division between the tow factions viz Sinhalese and the Tamils. Fortunately the Tamil Political Party Leadership, now energized by a new comer, Mr.Vigneswaran has realized that danger and made a statement virtually extending “olive branch” to the MR Government. Please read the statements of both the leaders; Messrs Sambandan and Vigneswaran.

You can brand me in anyway you like. That is your right. But if you have read my comments as far as this Regime’s behavior is concerned, you would realize that I am no “boot or back lick” of anyone. I simply study certain situations and express my opinion. Perhaps, if you reason it out differently and in an acceptable manner, I would change my opinion. But please note name calling will not act as a baffle on me.

I don’t belong to any dia- mora or pora neither am I going to suffer if RM stays in power or not. So it’s the Sinhalese who voted him and now they cannot get him or family out for another 30 years with the ballot unless something takes place in the world. The point is TG carries out protest almost monthly with placards reading “don’t buy SL garments” yet almost all the buyers (biggest garment buyers are Jews) are buying because money is the root cause of all good. In short it does not matter if they protest but when the 2 sides get into a brawl like at the cricket match it speaks volumes. What olive branch they need the money to run the show which no Sinhalese government would offer and that’s where the IC comes in if they are prepared to. BTW don’t change your opinion because I or anyone said it but see for self.

    Perfect Timing …

Will Rev Emmanuel the Deputy and the Leader of the TGTE British Chapter be next to PM Rudrakumaran on stage?.

Will Vaiko give the key note speech?.

Have Sambandan and Sumanathiran persuaded their new CM to at least send a card on behalf of the Canadian Chapter, who contributed big time to win the Election?.

Our Prez should point to the Kenyan delegation and remind the rest that supporting Terrorism and financing Terrorists can’t be all that bad.

The country in its present parlous state of the economy cannot afford this tamasha visit of Mr & Mrs MR and cohorts to the UN. What can he achieve either for the country or the UN in his few minutes of prepared
speech – whereas it will be dominated by Iran, the USA, Syria, Egyt, India and others. As someone said it is when these nondescript speakers take the podium others go for a smoke, a pee or a telephone call. The best he can hope for is a few seconds of a photo-op with Manmohan Singh, Ban Ki Moon or the Iranian leader. On his return these photos will be handed over to drum-beaters Rajpal, Malinda, Thadi Prema and other catchers in the Sinhala press to lie to the country the entire UN and visiting world leaders were spell-bound by his speech and walking behind our man.

RJdeS is right. Its already done. A photograph of Mr/Mrs MR with
Barak and Mrs. Obama is being pushed already to be splashed in the
front pages. The yakkos are expected to get them framed and placed
in their drawing rooms. That is the purpose of the entire visit
      to the UN.

Surely, this entire could have been done by someone who can read
English well in our Embassy in Washington. Or even Dr. Palitha Kohona.
This would have saved so much money for us.

The day will come when the Sinhala war criminals like mahinda rajafuckse and his co accused Gota rajafuckse will join the other big war criminals who committed crimes against humanity like Osama, ghadafi and sadam in hell courtesy of the international war crimes tribunal followed by their firing squads or hangmen. I like to see the day when these two rajafuckses with their military commanders face the firing squds for committing crimes against humanity. LTTE
Or the Tamil diaspora has nothing to do with this as it is their karma that they should pay with their lives to offset their evil deeds at mulliwaikkal. My dear Sinhala brothers and sisters mark my prophetic words that these war criminals days are numbered.I say this on behalf of a number of innocent Tamils whom I had known personally who lost their lives as a result of these war criminals’ actions during the last days of the war in 2009. Some of these victims were old and infirm and couldn’t survive the war because they didn’t have food or drink. By no stretch of imagination they were LTTE members or had anything to do with them. They were killed simply because they happened to be ethnic Tamils the captors logic was pure and simple ethnically cleanse the Tamil homeland before the outside world could find out.
Sathyame jayade. Truth only must triumph.

you say “They were killed simply because they happened to be ethnic Tamils the captors logic was pure and simple ethnically cleanse the Tamil homeland before the outside world could find out” The military captured over 11,000 LTTE carders rehabilitated them and were released! can you explain your statement? If your statement is true why didn’t they kill the 11,000?

      • 0
        0

You appear to be a Sinhalese who seemed not be able to accept what I have written about-the war crimes committed by the Sinhala Army. I believe
the so-called Tigers who surrendered whom the Sinhalese army subsequently rehabilitated are men and women who were perhaps forcibly recruited by the tigers who happened to surrender to the Sinhalese army with or with out their weapons. Amongst them many Tamil girls were raped before the so-called rehabilitation. Some of these so-called rehabilitated ( brain washed) tigers then married their captors the so – called liberators and rehabilitators.so much for rehabilitation. How, do you expect me to respect a race that desecrates war memorials( maveerar thyilum Illam), defile dead bodies of the enemy soldiers and kill non -combatants in the war zone? These are some of the well founded allegations Tamils have made against the Sinhala army .
        .

There is nothing wrong in protesting against anyone. Its a democratic right. But its wrong to protest with the tiger flag.
