Indian police say that a 30-year-old American woman has been gang-raped in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh, the BBC reports.
Police said that the woman had been attacked after she accepted a lift by a group of men in a truck in Manali, a resort town in the state.

I heard that the Immigration Officers tear certain pages of the Passport without the knowledge of the tourists and later demand ‘Santhosam’ or ‘Kappam’ from the tourists, alleging that they will not prosecute them. Sadly it is part of the backward Hindu based culture where women are objectified and sensualized in Bollywood movies. When they see scantily clad women gyrating they get aroused and think women are sexual objects and they want that in real life too.
But Indian society is backward and except in big cities the genders are more segregated than even Sri lanka. It is not a surprise given that 600MILLION still defecate outside and in Bihar women are raped when they go to the bushes to relieve themselves(reported in BBC)

In that case the savages are mostly linked to government politicians. look at the case in Tangalle. A British citizen was murdered and his girlfriend raped. The suspects are still out on bail intimidating witnesses because they are from the ruling party.
