The Homagama Magistrate has ordered the arrest of Bodu Bala Sena Secretary General, Galagoda Atte Gnanasara, over charges of contempt of court and the disruption of court proceedings.
During the proceedings in the Prageeth Ekneligoda case today Gnasara has allegedly insulted the court. Buddhist monk Gnanasara has allegedly threatened Ekneligoda’s wife Sandya in the premises of the court.

During Rajapaksha regime many monks took law in to their hands. Sabotage government family planning clinic. Invaded ministries and did threatening. Same thing happening now. Why police cannot take simple actions for disturbing the government service.
Untill police has guts to take these action Sri Lanka will never over come.

Here I feel if we had the laws of the kind sharia to stone this man and the mess he has created all along; this bugger would have bee no longer there to this date. People in the country still respect human dignity.
I wonder why the law and order stayed mum sofar. Innocient cattle are being often attacked, but not this animal why ? All rubbish comes from this man s mouth pieces can only hurt any respect loving people. So how can he be a monk ? Buddhism is non-violence respecting philosphy, butthe acts of the uncivlized monks like Ghaansara – not knowing the very basics of a life can end up with promotion of crimes rather than the peace in mind. Just because god allowed him a healthy life means not that he has to abuse it unncessarily. Those stupid masses must not go after the bugger thinking that he could fight against destruction buddhism, he himself is a monk of the kind that gradually causes destruction of lanken buddhist respect and dignity. Ai yako aru mu tho are the derogatory terms in sinhala lanague, not even street fish mongers of the day would use them anymore. Even wild animals can be easily trained and tamed but Gnanasara and his group and RavanaBalaya( Supporters of Buruwansa) can not be trained and tamed.
They are not genuine disciples of the Buddha.
Government must send them to Thailand Prisons where criminals incarcerate with severe punishments.

I thought srilanka produce enough Vet. scientists/surgeons, that could help in taming Ghanasara et al.
The manner they behaved themselves – was like in a kindergarten.
I thought heard that the lanken SANGAYA of the day are very uncilivzed, but never thought that their nature is as got to see in the TV screen today.
They have to learn respect laws and order.
Premier is dead right. EvERY right thinking would have to support him regardless of the party belong to. This has nothing to do with poltiics but disipline.
Law should be equal to President, Premier, Ministers, MPs and all others. That should be given as an exmaple then only people of the country can see that there are good examples to follow.

Srilankens are filled with uncivlized majority. Politicians abuse them for their political survivial as the westerners do it with migrant communities. Anyways, not many in the cabinet of ruling are aware of the real problem of the day. Law and order must be strenghthened so rigorous manner, giving police to control the nation. Police should be given better salaries. No matter anyone would call lanka a police state, what matters is bring the nation back in to tracks. Not even so called law makers are able to see good and bad – the basics.
Just talk yoruself to your neigbour, you will get to know what he or she think about the good governance. For them good governance means reduction of price, allow anyone to do whatever they think is right…. they none of them woujld talk about safeguarding justice and law and order.
All these western countries, being in one of them, I feel, the basics of their development is – law and order equal to everyone. Be them state leaders or others, law will have to function equal.
These men in safron robes should be warned. I agree with PM s speech … that they are lay people but in robes. The manner they behaved themselves yesterday were comparable to those of katharagama rilaw. They took the law to their hands, very same monks went on parades asking justice in the days of jarapakshe … Today, them to behave this way, should be explained by Mahanayakaes. This is a serious issue.
