British Tamils Forum Wants Labour To Pressure Cameron On Sri Lanka’s War Crimes Investigation

British Tamils Forum members met the leader of the Opposition Labour Party Edward Miliband MP yesterday at Parliament in an effort to foster closer ties between the Party and the Tamil Community in the UK.

Ahead of the United Nation Human Rights Council (UNHRC) session that is to take place in March, the Labour leader has been calling for an international independent investigation into war crimes and crimes against humanity since 2011. Yesterday, the Tamil Community asked Ed Miliband to reassert pressure on the British Government to deliver what Prime Minister David Cameron promised during his visit to Sri Lanka last year – an independent and international investigation. The delegation also briefed Mr Miliband on the current situation for Tamils in Sri Lanka.

Issuing a statement the BTF says; “Miliband promised he would do everything he could to get the UK government to use its position in the UNHRC to establish an international independent investigation.British Tamils Forum thanks Ed Miliband and the UK Labour Party for a productive meeting and look forward to further collaboration between the two organisations in future.”

Both David Cameron and Ed Miliband are good “politicians” with smiles in their faces. Little the BTF understands that both USA and UK intelligence agencies are collecting info on front organizations of terrorist organizations. Now the poor fellows will start selling copies of the photograph to extort funds. Sri Lankans in UK are well aware that after 2009, the BTF and other front organizations have lost control over small businesses started with funds extorted before May 2009 and registered in the names of individuals to avoid being discovered by intelligence officers.

This is definite proof that BTF has completely crippled the GTF by pulling out. Looking at this picture showing the huge exodus of BTF members who quit the GTF and went to see Miliband, it is a no-brainer that the future of Tamils is in their hands.

BTF & GTF may have some issues but both are working on a common ground to bring the Genocide of Tamils in SriLanka to light. The issues within both organisations happening for nearly 3 years but within the last 3 years you should know how much works both done against Government of SriLanka WarCrimes & Genocide. Somehow they are united when it comes against SriLanka.

VV Instead of bringing “the Genocide of Tamils in SriLanka to light” the BTF and GTF should do something positive for the Tamils still living in Sri Lanka.

Why waste energy on things that happened 4 years ago? What are you hoping to achieve? Only blow up further your massive Tamil Ego?

Look to the future, and you may end up being happy to come back to Sri Lanka, your Motherland.

They never will. This is just their pathetic attempt at revenge after losing the war that they funded. They know they will never get Eelam.

There are two separate groups. The first is the many Sri Lankans who dislike the MR government and its dictatorial actions and want to get rid of it. The second is the Tamil terror fundraisers who have now become human rights activists. The second are trying to use the first to further their goals.

If they love Tamilians so much why not bring all Tamilians to UK.

Only 800,000 Tamil men in SL. If they are killed it is carnival time in SL.

What is the big thing about war crime investigations? Sri Lanka only had a Humanitarian Operation with Zero Civilian Casualties?

We set No Fire Zones to protect them.

This must be a conspiracy by the LTTE rump diaspora and their henchmen.

We will defeat them, genocide or no genocide, Jaya Sickrui!

Where is that fellow David Miliband? He came with Bernaud Kouchner to SL during last days of the war to rescue Prabhakarn? Fortunately MR had balls to chase them away. If not we still have the LTTE cancer.

“Fortunately MR had balls to chase them away.”

Unfortunately MR has already lost his balls to chase David Cameron away while the British Prime minister was clanging his in the North.

Next time around please lend yours to MR.

All these GTF crooks were LTTE henchmen before. Now they don’t have the same privilege as in war times because they cannot collect money as before. They formed these rump organizations to show world that they are saviours of tamils.
