When a Buddhist monk is accused of abusing boys the people in the village insult and chase away the authorities who come to investigate the claims. So it is no surprise that when the President of Sri Lanka is accused of war crimes, people like Vibhushana wants to accuse or insult those who make the claim.
Come to think of it, this behavior is not such a bad thing. As an example, if someone were to claim that Vibhushana’s wife is having an affair, I’m sure he’d accuse that person of being loyal to his enemies instead of looking the veracity of that claim. If he is shown videos of the affair, he seems to be of the type who’d claim the videos are fabricated.
The result is a happy married life, right? Any woman of flawed character can lead a happy married life with a man like Vibhushana. Does the world look down upon a character like Vibhushana?
As K said, “Don’t ask questions you don’t want to know the answer to.” So, I guess we’re not going to ask question about war crimes, right?

2) How do you know tthe Channel 4 team was even informed about payment; the driver could have said payment was not required or it was taken care of only to later file a police report.
