Corrupt FCID Chief Cop DIG Ravi Waidyalankara Sacked

Senior DIG Ravi Waidyalankara who heads the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) has been removed from his position a short while ago.

DIG Ravi Waidyalankara

He was accused of corruption and sabotaging of investigations of the most high profile investigations into financial misappropriation by top officials in the Mahinda Rajapaksa administration.

“The main reason behind the removal was his handling of the MiG deal,” an informed source told Colombo Telegraph.

Law enforcement circles were also buzzing with information that DIG Waidyalankara has made several attempts to smuggle crucial documents out of the FCID headquarters in Fort. At least one such attempt was shortly before the top cop boarded a flight to Singapore where several suspects in the highly sensitive MiG-27 deal investigation are known to be in residence.

Why did it take so long?

Finally, but is it just a show? Will the President post him as the New Ambasador to Qatar?

Who is going to sack the President who carried out an illegal and unconstitionsl coup?

        Amarasiri

DIG Ravi Waidyalankara is safe as long as he wears his pirith noola (blessed strings).
Is hopper Sirisena pleased with the sacking of this patriot, ranaviru, protector of Sinhala/Buddhism and chapter II of the constitution, …………… This could be an effort to discredit this super smart patriot.

Ravi Waidyalankara in his defense should claim like the Navy Chief.

The navy chief claimed “that the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) is attempting to arrest him, on allegations levelled by those who are against the Sri Lankan Armed Forces, for defeating terrorists and especially against him as the person who commanded the Sri Lanka Navy which sank many ships containing sophisticated arms of the terrorists, which had been dispatched from abroad.”

There are speculations that there had been no such PURCHACES of MIG planes. But no media or govt obviously make any public statments on the accuracy of the inforamtion. Can anybody from the THREE FOCES please clear this ? Media work together in favour of alleged criminals. What is in the air creates people to stagnate in permanent anxities of high crimes.
      :
We have got one former senior man on CT platform (One Perera), now living in TORONTO, he could know this. Right ? If he is genuine, he can still spill the beans. These are very simple questions. But answers to them remain unanswered why ?.
      .
If purchase was a lie to grab the state funds on the name of arsenal purchases, Rajakashes adminsitration should let alone today, come forward and clear it. That way, we can see it forward. Just letting him amusing the gallery, yet today, meaning after 4 years of Goodgovernance, current authorities have failed to do their job properly. Whom have they been been fooling on and on ?
      .
These questions investigations would not TAKE that long, since these are mostly connected with YES or NO questions. If no such purchases were the case, former SECRETRATY of DEFAENCE should open up it to the nation.
Even general Sarath Fonseka could reveal a lot here. Just to drag on these and that investgations, lying the same audience cant bring us anywhere.
See, how SORIYSENA led groups could repeat their song against before UPCOMING UN HRC sessions ?:
I wonder why yet RAJAKAPAKSHE led racists failed to go for attacks on Minortieis for the year 2019 ?. SORIYSENA revealed it to the letter, that all the riots inflicted on MUSLIM srilankens were carried out by Rajapakshe loyalists under the spearhead of that abusive Sarath Wijeesekara who had been the head of the delegation that took part to express the opinions of society groups before the UNHRC 2018. These vicious men intended to submit premedidated inhuman acts as the unstoppable and continuing clashes between lanken majority and the minority muslims.

      Sir,
Removal from FCID or sacking from rotten Sri Lanka Police is like going to the beach for the weekend. This guy is accused of crimes of the highest order. Basically a cunning GODFATHER. Taking cover behind Sri Lanka’s Police uniform then taking us all for a ride. Playing with our hopes and dreams for our beautiful country and her future.
      Cheers!
PS: May you and your fellow bastards who protected you, benefited from your protection in SLFP, UNP & SLP PEE top crime networks, while our nation and her people bled, ROT IN HELL!

Why do you think Mahindawamsa attempted the OCTOBER failed coup?
First the plotters wanted to clean the evidence room, delete all the computer files, and take all those files for walkies.

Did you think Mahindawamsa wanted to catch more LTTE cadres, secure the country from TAMIL as well as Jihadi terrorism and build a prosperous island?

Now you know how these crooks looted the country for 71 years and killed tens of thousands of innocent people with impunity. In their defense they always blamed the “OTHERS” including Hindia, UNHRC and the west, claimed being patriots than the next one, protectors of Buddhism by securing a place in the constitution, …………………

The crooks are happy and successful because the people are ready to by whatever they sell, including Siri Pada real estate, free return ticket to Mars and back, …..

What I heard, He had talked about Ranil in a YOUTH Assembly. that was the reason to be sacked.
Another hilarious news fro Parliamentary crack pot. People have talked about how one MP restarted the Father’s village building (got from Lalith athulathmudali) concept. Houses flooding when it rained, one layer brick waljs were falling down is some hit it hard. Anyway, this MO (No one calls him Very honourable minister). Anyway, remodelled house have four pillars at four corners and concrete slabs kept in between those. There had been complaints about these and Ranil says, it is the election time and the construction can not be stopped. He says, I have even grand kids now,. I need a promotion.

      .
This is not new to this nation. If parliamentary politicians become cocaine sniffers, so what more you can talk about this nation. Parliamentarians are the ones that were elected to represent the nation. If they are alledged to have been on drugs, not justsimple ones but hard drugs, then no further investigations would be necessary to build an opinion on this pathetic nation.
Soceity ‘ s mirror image is the parliament. JVPrs and others may have been doing a great job, however, in this backdrop, majority of the people in this country are highly abused and corrupted. Basta. I have lost my faith on any leaders since 26 Oct 2018.

Can we all imagine the damage that he has done to all these investigations conducted by all the other hardworking Officers of the FCID? There are Rajapakse MOLES everywhere and I don’t think they can be all ferreted out. CT readers should read how the Former Additional Solicitor General Shavindra Fernando sabotaged the investigations into the abduction and murder of those 11 youngsters. And how architect Muditha Upali Jayakodi revealed astounding details in the pending case about Basil’s villa in Malwana. The Sunday Observer is full of such investigative journalism now! I fear for the editor.

This is Lanka for the beginners/kindergarten kids. A commission is established just for the purpose of investigating high end financial crimes and this shit head is given the responsibility to lead. The purpose for a such commission was because Lankan police is so corrupted they are incapable of doing it. Millions of Rs spend and some useful information gathered (not that difficult because even ordinary citizens are aware of some ) to see this shit head was either destroying or covering it up. All this is done at the expense of hard earned(okay agreed not all are hard earned)tax payers money. And who is enjoying these shows are our own public. They want to bring back the same crooks for more fun??? The president has vowed to shield them all. The PM is as always the silent spectator.(he knows only about covenant house). Now the million $ question. Why in the first place form such commission?????? A truly shit hole country. And please do not make fun at others who are in the same shit hole list because you are the topper and no one can be above you.

This is why Gotabaya says the Mig deal was as clean as he is.

Coming to cocaine mystery. I remember first time I heard was during MR time, the rumor was there was a huge load of shipment and then PM was behind it ( may be MR was trying to frame him and it was for some one else). As usual this was forgotten by the public with in days, which is even shorter compared to cocaine it self which has ultra short half life which makes it potent. Then came Ranjan with his accusations of legislators using and peddling. He dared to give a list of names including Tamil MP,s and businessmen. ( I believe because a shady businessman was involved in money laundering and human trafficking and was briefly in prison., who, s son is now a prominent politician in North). Today news is a large haul of cocaine more than 300 Kg was seized in Colombo 2 ???? If this is true then we know where Lanka is heading. Once labeled as a transit for drug trafficking then there will be more of Geneva/Hague days and US/Trump,s wrath.Just like war crimes this will be (FCID) outsourced to Geneva.

If I am not mistaken, this is a guy, even with the power of a senior police officer, failed to stand up for his own son who was assaulted by the Sirsena brat a few years ago. At that time, I thought how helpless law enforcement was when it comes to political thuggery but now it seems that it was an opportunity for this senior cop to get in to the good graces of the political hierarchy. No doubt it paved the way for advancement in his career & opened up avenues for accumulating vast wealth. Apparently, the rumour is that he has bought his son a luxury apartment only the mega rich could afford, certainly not on a copper’s salary, how senior he maybe. Shouldn’t the Inland Revenue, at least, investigate such wealth, even if this guy has pals in the higher offices of law enforcement who would not cooperate in an investigation into his time in office?

Anyway, I am surprised that this guy was sacked because such things seldom happen in SL unless fallen out of grace. Or is he a sacrificial lamb?

Guys are you not tired of these shit yet ???? I am confused. Please some one help me in explaining how these kind of SHIT could keep continuing with no hindrance what so ever. May be, I had spend a lot of time outside of Lanka that I do not understand the nuances any more like you all do. I think now a days it is easier to discuss about Who is not a SHIT HEAD ??? than looking for one. The President, PM, ministers, MP,s, Government officials, serviceman, religious heads, businessman, judges, attorney general, doctors , teachers —–etc—-etc , there is light at the end of the tunnel BUT IN LANKA THE TUNNEL DOES NOT END. Sorry Guys , there is no good news only bad “you all are royally F—-D

“Sacked” and “Removed” are two different things. Whether, it is “Sacked” or “Removed” this “Top Cop” has already done the “Damage” in relation to the “Avan Guard” case. When this case was taken up yesterday (26th) in Magistrate Courts, the case was “Postponed” to April 29th. Why? The Eight Accused have gone before the Appeal Courts, preventing the Magistrate Court inquiry. The Appeal Court case is still “Pending” and “When” it would be taken up is “Anybody’s Guess”. This is how these “High Profile” cases are moving. The latest, ex Chief of Navy has gone before courts, seeking to prevent CID arresting him over the disappearance of that “11” persons. That “Hearing” will take another “Spell”. In the meantime, main stream “Media” a Sinhala print publication is writing day after day “Dignifying” this “Accomplice” as a “War Hero”, and adds that this arrest is to comply with UNHRC resolution. See what is going on in the “Special Courts” set up to hear cases on a “Continuous” basis. Is that happening there? What has happened to the case where, the Chief of Staff of President and the Chairman of the Timber Corporation were caught “red handed” while counting 20 million, (a part of a 540 million) bribe in a car park of a hotel complex? Only yesterday, the court was informed that the inquiries are over. When will AG or the Bribery Commission decide to file the proper case? Once again when are “Sajin Vas Gunawardene’s cases” coming up? You will see all these “High Profile” cases have been “MUDDLED” with a “PURPOSE” and by “INVOLVEMENTS” of again by all the “HIGH PROFILE” authoritative figures in Governance and Executive. As time passes, the “Authorities” are “Confident” that the PEOPLE will “FORGET” and that is what the “GOAL” is.

How will the Freemasons react? They look after members of their ‘brotherhood’ at all costs, especially those in law enforcement and judiciary. There will be a ‘return’ to this and the Sri Lankan government and Sri Lankans will not know what hit them!

They will have to ring Halgolla to find out.

Waidyalankaara went to Singapore during President’s visit.
Put two two together – Bingo.
The removal of Waidyalankara could be one condition of the deal recently cut among Maithri + Ranil + Mahinda + Basil + Gotabhaya.
This is the “Big-5” in Sri Lanka who think that they can control the future politics and even distort future election results with the help of the Chairman of the Elections Company who is a twister.
They have agreed to abolish Executive Presidency and transfer the power to Parliament WITHOUT the consent of people.
Their other aim is to crush nationalist political parties and keep the power ONLY within themselves and their kith and kin.
They will even pre-plan election results.. Meaning, they won’t care what people think. Even if people cast their votes against parties represented by the “Big-5,” the final results will be a pre-determined distribution of seats among themselves in the Parliament.
Moreover, I won’t be surprised if Maithri, Chathurika and Dudley come to Parliament.
The way it goes, the coup masters may have agreed to form a national government in the next Parliament consists of all three parties, the treacherous UNP + Ranil, the treacherous SLFP + Maithri + the treacherous SLPP + Mahinda.
This is the BIGGEST EVER COUP to ROB people’s democratic rights to elect a President and Representatives OF THEIR CHOICE.
And this is the biggest betrayal one can do to their citizens.
What lies behind the abolition of Executive Presidency is the DEMISE OF DEMOCRACY, FREEDOM AND CIVIL & POLITICAL RIGHTS.
    Wake up, guys!!!!!!
Irrespective of party, colour, religion, race or caste, Sri Lankan citizens should rise AS ONE to thwart this “Coup d’état of the Big-5.”

        Analyst
Even Rajapaksa supporters didn’t approve October 26 coup.
It is the lack of people’s support that made the coup a flop.
Without lifting a finger, people controlled them. However, they never learn lessons. That is why knowing fully well Sinhalese don’t support the abolition of Executive Presidency, they still go ahead, this time even cutting a deal with a political enemy not so long ago. This is the dirtiest ever politics.

Long overdue when all these crooked “අල්ලං හුටං ගජිගතං” drunkards who share a drink from the same pitcher with the criminals, and then sway from side to side by holding the criminal’s shoulder to balance themselves. Most of these officers have bee seen in pubic operating and abetting crimes by toasting and partaking in a binge by socializing with gangsters, criminals, drug and wheeler dealers. This incident is no surprise when we all saw how these officers salute thugs, money launders and murderers with hail Hitler salutes in public. I was informed that most of the incriminating evidence has been destroyed. The long overdue action has paved the way for the FCID to now dust the footprints of collusion with the master robbers and gang up with another corrupt division at the Attorney General’s office. The FCID was even bribed to leak information of key witnesses in order to bribe them in advance to maintain their silence. Few of them were paid not to testify in future cases. Some were intimidated. I suspect the file drawers emptied from the FCID with already investigated evidence to have found a new safe deposit box in a safe house of Dudley’s and at PC Romesh deSilva’s abode. At least these jokers made PC Romesh’s defense job easier to defend his criminal clients.

Stay put and don’t panick! I have a spy in there too!!” is what King Percy Magodis informed Johnston over several shots of Whiskey at Madamulana after getting Johnston off the hook. Whether this reference was made for RaviW at FCID or someone at the AG’s office is unclear.
