Scotland Yard has launched an investigation into new claims that Diana, Princess of Wales was murdered by a member of the British military.
Reports in several British Sunday newspapers suggest there are allegations the military was involved and that information had been passed to the police by an Army source, the BBC reports.
The Telegraph UK said; “The claims were given to the force by the Royal Military Police, after surfacing during the trial of Sgt Danny Nightingale, the SAS sniper convicted of illegal weapons possession. The dossier is said to include a claim that the SAS “was behind Princess Diana’s death”. Scotland Yard declined to confirm the content or origin of the material.”

A Met Police spokesman said that the force would “not discuss the source of the information” it was assessing.
A royal spokeswoman also said there would be no comment on the matter from Prince William or Prince Harry, or from Clarence House.
A spokesman for Dodi’s father Mohamed Al Fayed said he had no comment to make, but said he would be “interested in seeing the outcome”, adding that he trusted the Met to investigate the information “with vigour”.

UK is perhaps not what we think it is.
We think it is the last bastion of freedom, democracy and transparency. It obviously is not.
Julian Assange is effectively under an inhumane house arrest at Equador’s Embassy in London.
Yesterday UK detained a journalist reporing on the Snowden affair.
Princess Diana’s death is highly suspicious.
Who runs UK? A deep state? Intelligence services?
They should quit advising Sri Lanka. Though it may be music to the ears of Rajapassa dictatorship.
