The Supreme Court has ruled that the Divineguma Bill has to be passed with two third majority in Parliament and Clause 8 has to be approved at a referendum and also two third majority in Parliament, Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa announced in Parliament today.

Earlier MR was shown at a Tamil Hindu Kovil bare bodied seeking favours from the Tamil Gods. Now 10% is shown in similar fashion seeking favours from Tamil Gods. There was a demonstration in support of Divinaguma Bill held near the Parliament the other day. The crowd was transported in a large number of Govt. buses that were parked near the ‘Palan thuna’ junction area. The crowd was seen walking towards the Parliament. The photos are displayed in some websites and the papers. The crowd was led by those ‘Poor’ supporters who came in the latest Four Wheel Drives(SUVs). See the photographs and identify the ‘poor’ of this country, who are well dressed Department workers from the nearby Govt, Offices who have been compelled to attend. It appears that the Politicians selling the Poor is not over yet. What a country! What a set of people?
