Why restrict to 100 words Max? restrict yourself to zero words. Nobody is forcing you to write a comment here like Rajapakshe bros would force their own citizens. Are you ever going to stop telling people what to do or what not to do?

Deciding about something worth or not worth should be taken by someone else than our Max

Sometimes shutting your mouth brings you more respect.

What does a SLA soldier do if he comes home from Vanni and his wife start fighting for her rights? What does he do if his teenager son or daughter fight for his/her recognition?

You have not fought against Tamils, you have fought against your inner enemy. All these injustice will be brought home.

    You will see!

Dayan believed belonging to this strong save side, Tamara believed, also G.L.Peiris believed. Max Silva, Casie Chetties, Suz and Bodinayakes still believes. It is a matter of time. We have patience.

It’s the easiest thing in the world to dismiss what one doesn’t like to hear as “the usual crazy crap.” But has Max Silva even bothered to listen to Brian Senewiratne’s talk? Mr Senewiratne has a very long record campaigning in the field of human rights. I wonder how long is Mr Silva’s and in what field?! I suggest that Mr Silva bookmark this talk and listen to it in 5 years from now to see how Mr Senewiratne’s prognosis of the future has come about.

    Gowrie,Vasu,Roy,
This article is not about me,you stupid. It seems even you guys don’t know what the article is all about. So instead you bash me.There’s no doubt that all you guys are following me.Otherwise how come you don’t comment on the crap that Ole Doc Brian had supposed to have said?I don’t blame you for not wasting Mbs on some piece of shit.

We all three have the same diagnosis of your state, but we have different opinion about the therapy methods

Perhaps Brian finds some time to tell his opinion for a consensus reading

Were your mother cheated by a jaffna tamil cigar trader? and you were born as the product?
Your first girlfriend went with a colombo tamil short before your engagement?
Or your wife admired a LTTE fighter during yout honeymoon?
We all three are trying to find a reason for your frustration.
Micturition? How often during an hour?

Tell us frankly, we will help you

Vasu,Gowrie,Roy,the “we all three bandwagon”.As said earlier this article or whatever you call it is not about me.I am asking you the same simple question again? What is the content of Ole Doc Brian’s speech?I am not crazy to fortify my precious MBs to hear what a nut has to say.It is to your advantage to download what the Ole Doc has to say. After all you are paid to do a job.So pl download what your own Doc has to say and let me know.Repeat:No wasting my MBs to hear what a nut has to say.

Vasu of “WE three fame”,You want to know what my problem is?Send that MIA flame and i will tell her what my problem is.In the meantime three of you better work on Bomba Gunda of sexual abuse fame. Now that Bomba Gunda’s fiasco is loosing it’s momentum, whats next? Can’t you get Ole Samba to claim that he had been sexually abused?Even those old bags Nimalka and Sunila would do!

I am amazed at the low ‘calibre’ of most these comments and can only refer to this saying, “They are blind who WILL NOT SEE” With two good Buddhist grandmothers and many others in whose name great wrongs have been done is it not time to bury past grievances on all sides and ive in peace and harmony as we once did after independance was granted. We all did.

There are some whose opinions that are not worth bothering about. I’d say the opinion about me talking or writing ‘crap’ is one of these.

If I am to commit to paper, the comments made to me on my phone, day in, day out, the nights included, it will constitute pronography.

I am intersted to know why, in addition to physical barbarism (as seen in the UK Ch 4 Sri Lnaka’s Killing Fields), the ‘patriotic Sinhalese’ seem to be incapable of speaking or, ususally writing, anything but coarse, even obscene, language. It is a worry.

I get a string of abuse for about 72 hours after each talk i give or each article i write. Its not just about me but about my (dead) mother too. If they do to their mothers what they accuse me of doing to my mother, then they clearly have a psychiatric problem and need help.

It will do their cause more good (that is if they have a ’cause’), if these ‘patriotic Sinhalese’ submit a response to the alleged ‘crap’. This they seem to be incapable of doing.

This type of thing no longer bothers me.The ‘son of a bitch’ and “you m….r-f…g Tamil Tiger c…t” etc To these abusive phone calls I respond in the Queens English (rather than the Pettah fish-market variation of ‘english’). I ususally thank them for staying awake for so many hours to call me at 15 min intervels to abuse me. I usually end by saying “Please free to call me again, but can we move away from pornography? Thank you for calling”.

I’d suggest that people have another look at the Channel 4 Video.Killing Fields. No, not the murders or the torture, the slicing with a penknife etc. Leave that aside and just listen to the LANGUAGE used by the Sri Lankan military, referring to the raped and murdered Tamil girls, and even the language used between two soldiers. i think it is about 23 minm the start of the video. the language is as worrying as the deeds.

It seems to be a pathological inability to anything other than extremely foul language. i have no medical explanation for this unique phenomenon. mush of it revolves around sex. its a sort of sexual perversion. look at the UK Channel 4 video again and see (or rathe, hear), for yourself.

As for Mr Max Silva, I suggest you leave him alone. There are things you cannot change. For good measure, you might listen to the Hon Mervin Silva, Rajapakss’s Minister of Public Relations. i cannot remeber much Sinhalese any longer, but transalting as best i can, it sounds very crude stuff. You cannot change him either

          Max,
I think you envy Dr.Brian..Sorry! People like you can only dream of becoming someone like him. Even a dream seems very remote. What are you doing here writing comments, I suggested you few weeks ago to have a permanent bed in Angoda hospital. Early treatment is advised. So, are you one of those friendly people dialing Dr brian’s phone number every 15 mins to keep him awake? Well, you are not only with dead brain cells but I think you suffer from insomnia too. Angoda hospital..Pronto Signore!

Dr. Brian Senewiratne – is a brave man.

He is a True Humanitarian !!

Dr. Brian Senewiratne cares deeply for our beautiful island.

He knows that only ugly racism is a true barrier for peace and prosperity in Sri Lanka.

Abusing human rights of our fellow citizens-the Tamils and militarizing their villages will not bring stability.

Let’s not forget, there are 70 million Tamils few miles away and they are buzzing with anger.

Dr Brian Senewiratne always gives us a wise advice.

So, the smart thing to is to treat all citizens with dignity, regardless their ethnicity, creed or color

A most excellent and informative lecture by Dr. Senewiratne. The whole world must be made aware of these atrocities, past and present. Again, I commend the Dr. for his efforts.

If you are the same Rudrakumaran who calls himself the ‘Prime Minister’ of the ‘Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam’ and previously acted as an advising lawyer to the LTTE, what do you have to say about the atrocities Brian Senewiratne mentions (briefly) 52 minutes into this video? Specifically, the killing of rival Tamil leaders, Tamil and Singhalese civilians, the Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, the use of Tamils as human shields and the ‘recruiting’ of Tamil children (actually the abduction of Tamil children to use as ‘cannon fodder’)?

Actually, the atrocities committed by the Tamil Tigers were much worse than this (though they are evil enough). One atrocity that is not mentioned in this speech is the calculated, cynical creation of a suicide cult designed to protect the Tamil Tiger leadership. Perhaps you can help us find out who supplied the cyanide that young Tamil women were garlanded with by the likes of Adele Balasingham, and who developed and orchestrated this murderous strategy of the LTTE? Perhaps you can also advise us as to what punishment those who supported these atrocities from the safety of Western countries should face?

Rory,Gowrie,Vasu,Rudrakumaran(hope these buggers are not the same person)What have you got to say on DR Romesh’s reply? No point beating Max Silva, but clear answers, that is if you have any which i doubt very much.

        Romesh,
Do you really think you can jeopardize your father’s reputation by pouring out your anger and “personal” grievances in a public forum? You are wrong Romesh. You only helped to push up the bar of immense respect we have for this gentleman higher. Please don’t tell me this is not “pouring out” grievance but discussion. Clearly, you are not thinking with right frame of mind. Please put yourself in the rifgt frame of mind and think clearly. I am not going to be able to tell you anything your father hasn’t already. state violence which targeted at the Tamil communities has been persistent and increasingly systematic since independence in 1948. Anti-Tamil pogroms of 1956, 1958, 1961, 1977, 1981 and 1983,..The list is too long, I can’t remember them all.. In 1956, Tamil leaders gathered on Galle Face Green in peaceful protest. They were broken up by violence and thugs. This was attributed to Sinhala chauvinism. Every non-violent protest of Tamils was crushed by force, violently. Thus, young Tamils decided non-violent resistance wouldn’t work and they picked up the arms to protect themselves from the chauvinist attacks and resisted the brutal force of the armed forces.. Young Tamils spoke to the racist government with the language the government understood. When Tamils refused to bow their heads when repeatedly knocked and refused to live as slaves in shame, the terrorist government butchered hundred of thousands of innocent Tamil civilians in the name of eliminating ‘terrorism’..Stealing Tamil’s land through militarization in the name of ‘reconciliation’..Your father seen it all. He seen the injustices meted to Tamils. He knows what he is talking about and you can’t stop him from speaking out the truth. That’s what is expected of a good man. Be assured!. He is not going to be silent over the atrocities committed on Tamils. And you, you talk nothing but crap. No son will ever wish his father’s arrest. Perhaps, that states the state of YOUR mind. Get real! Get a life Romesh!

Who comes to the defense of [Edited out]Doc Brian? The long lost son,the nutty Gowrie! Gowrie,pl ask you Pa to post many silly articles as possible so that we will not be short of comedy.

Gowrie, why do you have so little to say about the atrocities committed by the Tamil Tigers AGAINST Tamils? By the way, my comment was directed at Rudrakumaran, of whom I asked some very reasonable questions. It is quite legitimate to ask about the use of cyanide and suicide by the LTTE – your comments appear to be very one-sided…and misdirected.

Atrocities are atrocities whether they were committed by GoSL, JVP, EPDP or LTTE.
A human rights defender never uses the word ” much more than” and “much less than” Here you see the lack of knowledge of human rights.
We protested also against LTTE whenever they committed atrocities.
It has nothing to do with our protest against the sinhalese mobs, like you, Casie Chetty, Sam etc., and your Tamil mercenaries, people like you calling and abusing Brian in 15 min interval.

You can not justify 60.000 civil casualities in “No Fire Zones”
You can not justify Killings of forcely recruited LTTE cadres

HOPEFULLY YOU LEANED SOMETHING FROM UN RESOLUTION
UNTIL MARCH 2013 YOU HAVE TIME TO IMPLEMENT THE PROPOSED STEPS BY UN
YOU SHOULD ALLOW UN SPECIAL RAPPORTEURS

We have enough time, we can wait.

        Max,
You raised a question and I gave you an answér. Again you climb like a devil to a murunga tree and you remain the same creature
We have nothing to do with Prabaharan
We have our own demands, the demands of Tamils and other minorities
This Island belongs to Veddas, Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims, Burghers and to other minorities
Veddas are the one and only indigenous people in Sri Lanka
You believe, according to Mahavamsa, had sex with animals like lions, and were born as sinhalese
Try to do this with your housedog or your cat and rewrite this bloody mahawamsa, this monks are bloody liars, wait and see the results of londons child abusers process of a SL monk, better said a monkey

          Vasu,
How nice to hear that you have nothing to do with Prabakaran. But when the “Sole representative”was on a killing spree you were cheering from all four corners. With the defeat of the barbaric Tamil thugs, you disown the thugs and come up with another trick in the form of human rights. When the LTTE was running the show we never heard of these so called human rights activists. No one is going to believe you defeated Tiger terrorists turned human rights activists.Damned fraudsters!
Then you say that you have your own demands. What demands?Since when did the defeatists had the luxury of demanding? If you are talking about blackmail, better try your luck as the way Prabakaran tried. But be warned that there’s enough space at Nandikadal lagoon for you to swim.We will not stop until the remaining Tamil Tigers are brought down to their knees.Have you heard of the saying that “Beggars can’t be choosies”? That’s what you are.WE will handout what ever we feel at our own convenience.Till then keep on daydreaming. You have been referring to names of animals all the time. What i can say to you the “toothless and hairless Tigers turned Hyenas’,”better stick around the back yard till we throw in a bone or two”.Take it and bugger off!

Thank you for troubling to reply here, Brian. Speaking as a burgher whose family left SL over half a century ago because of the de-stabilising changes caused by the Bandaranaike government and seeing what it has all led to I must voice my appreciation and gratitude that there are still a few honourable Sri Lankans, such as yourself, who have the determination and courage to continue to speak for decent values. I cannot counter the deluge of abuse you must receive but please know that there are those such as myself out there who greatly value your courageous work for Lanka and humanity.

Rory, I can not reveal myself for reasons best known as I will not be living to tell the tale, as the saying goes. I am a pure Sinhalese not a descendant of the Portuguese. I can assure the majority Sinhalese have no problems with Tamils as Sinhalese we have derived inspiration for both Language and Religion from Indian influence. Unfortunately the majority of the Sinhalese are not organised, where as the minority who oppose the Tamils are organised like the JVP, where the base is around a two hundred and fifty thousand in a society of 20 million. Thus they have a strong voice without numbers. Doctor Brian Seneviratne’s efforts are valued by the real Sinhalese and trust we will be able to overcome these obstacles we face to live as human beings on this planet.

    Dear Dr Seneviratne,
I listened to all you had to say with interest as I was thinking of retiring to our once lovely island!! However , I was told of the white vans that arrive and disappearances that follow, also of bodies floating down rivers and of the oily men( I first heard of these in India when in a convent there)I cannot imagine how things have changed as we were so lucky to enjoy peace and harmony ,yes even during the years of the ‘dreadful British’ who gave us all those wonderful schools, hospitals, roads and even incorrupt Civil servants all to our benefit. As one Sinhalese man told me in Kandy about 2 years ago.” At least the British enabled us to eventually get the vote otherwise we would have had Rajakariya still under a Tamil despot”. He had worked for the Agricultural dept. Having lived in India, I couldnt help noticing that even after 50 odd years so many are denied free education there. In Lanka this is not the case so why do these commentators hysterically use the language of the gutter when in disagreement?. Such fits of apoplexy, just because some of us have seen evidence and care about our country? It reflects so badly on Lankans worlwide.I hope none reading all of this imagines that all Lankans share such characteristics so please let me say that there are many gentle, caring, kind and hospitable folk still left in Lanka //You have raised your head above the parapet in defence of human rights in the country of your birth and I admire you for it. The world must know that there are Lankans AND Lankans.I for one am glad to be both British and Lankan respecting greatly the culture and history of both lands. My ancestor sailed from one lovely island to another. My English grandfather, fair and a blue eyed was born and bred in the south and took to wife a local lady from Gintota, (my other grandma was an Udarate Menike) He considered himself a Ceylonese for that was what our island was then known as and considered it his ONLY country. Like you , I am neither Buddhist nor Christian but a dyed in the wool agnostic and firstly and foremost an environmentalist. Relegions, I find are the cause of so much trauma. So note with horror the new census results. With a population of 21 million it will not be Moslems or Tamils v Sinhalese but Sinhala against Sinhala whether Buddhist or not as we saw when the JVP caused such horrors which never surprised me. In Lanka, a Sinhala Taxi driver told me that I was looking at Lanka thru’ rose coloured glasses when I spoke of the kindest folk I knew and loved in my childhood who I still meet. He told me, now neighbour would kill neighbour for his house and he had to take his tea in a flask for he couldnt afford to buy it in a boutique!!! As you described , I have savoured the delights of the Colombo Hilton (just a cup of tea tho’), stepped outside to see a bundle of rags that was human and hoped it wasnt the belief in birth and rebirth that seemed to make him invisible. I wonder what would transpire if Salvation Army personnel in uniform had taken him in or do they dress in ‘civvies’ now to avoid attack?’ I feel weary from hearing over and over again of this paradise isle for if it is and from what I see at first hand, I wouldnt want to be there when I ‘pop my clogs’!!!. I just hope that it will not become a paradise lost forever.Hope springs eternal so lets hope that Lanka will not become a Chinese colony in all but name. I do remember SWRD saying that he hoped Lanka would become the Switzerland of the East. Once upon a time it seemed to be when I had so many pals of all religions and races happy under our P.M the truly honourable. D.S Senanayake. Once, I looked out of our Ford Prefect, while lying in my mother’s warm lap, saw the stars shining in the heavens above Rattota and thought this must be truly what Paradise is!!! How fortunate were we.

      Sorry Vanga,

I am a Tamil and not a Tamilian and not an insult for all Tamils. Hopefully you are not a rudiment of EPDP and write this to shut my mouth

I went to schools and universities and have still the relationship with some SL diplomats in “machang” basis. I am not proud of this

I don´t know how many years you are involved in SL politics, me the last 30 years and I have seen people coming and going.

But we have principles and we fight for this for more than 35 years

There are no Tamilians to make a good impression for chauvenistic sinhalese, then this is OUT. You can do and shut your mouth until they rape your daughters

Dr Romesh, hope his dis was not about human rights.

If you are a passive Tamil, keep quiet, do your business, earn some money, build your house and be happy

But do not support people like Max and admire Romesh.
