Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy Named ‘Sri Lankan Of The Year’

The Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy has been named as LMD’s Sri Lankan Of The Year (SLOTY) award for 2016.

Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy - Governor CBSL

Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy – Governor CBSL

We publish below the award citation in full:

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has been the subject of increased scrutiny over the last year and more, to a degree unseen in the decades gone by. One can hardly ignore the fact that while the nation’s monetary authority is expected to act independently, politics and mismanagement have weaselled their way into the bank’s modus operandi, with no less than the former governor of the esteemed institution coming under the spotlight for alleged wrongdoing.

This sorry state of affairs led to calls by sections of civil society and the media for the ex-governor to vacate his seat of authority – appeals that inexplicably fell on deaf ears for too long, even as public confidence in the Central Bank and the coalition government was eroding at every turn of the saga that unfolded.

However, the urgency of a plausible solution to the apparent impasse came to the forefront, when the term of Arjuna Mahendran – who took over from his predecessor Nivard Cabraal in January last year – ended on 30 June.

So in July, following high-level discussions between members of the nation’s political top brass and in the face of growing opposition to the reappointment of the incumbent, Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy was installed as Sri Lanka’s 14th Governor of the Central Bank.

The appointment led to a collective sigh of relief in media circles, and among businesspeople and many of those who call the shots in political circles these days, because it averted a potential leadership vacuum at CBSL.

In addition, the largely unexpected choice of the then advisor to the President was a welcome move in restoring confidence in the monetary authority, whose image had been tarnished by the allegedly heedless acts of not one but two of its immediate predecessors.

It was a matter of utmost consequence for Sri Lanka’s financial system that confidence be restored in the nation’s highest fiscal authority.

Given his impeccable professional credentials – including a 16-year stint at CBSL and a posting at the Commonwealth Secretariat in London – and a perceptibly apolitical persona, Coomaraswamy was considered a natural fit for the arduous job at hand.

At the time of assuming office, he stated: “The Monetary Law Act established some very specific responsibilities for the Central Bank. And it is up to us to fulfil those responsibilities in a very technocratic, objective and free way.”

Coomaraswamy also acknowledged that “the Central Bank of Sri Lanka is one of the great institutions in this country,” adding that he was ‘acutely aware that a primary responsibility, arguably the primary responsibility, of the Governor is to uphold its reputation and credibility.’

And a mere five months into his tenure as CBSL’s Governor, all indications are that Coomaraswamy’s appointment has resulted in a welcome change to Sri Lanka’s country image. And this has proven to be so in finance, banking and economic circles.

In fact, on a recent edition of our twice-monthly TV programme Benchmark, the Managing Director of JB Securities Murtaza Jafferjee expressed his view that in terms of monetary policy stability, with the new Central Bank Governor being instated, “confidence will return and we will see a better market next year.”

And if snippets in the press about a rumoured meeting with the nation’s Commander-in-Chief are even half true, right-minded citizens of our precious land will take their hats off – because apparently, the new CBSL Governor said he has been troubled by “some political sections.”

He was told something along these lines, it has been reported: “You hail from a respectable family. I hope you are quite capable of safeguarding the honour of your illustrious family and that of the institution you are in charge of. We are with you… Take decisions without fear.”

If such a one-on-one took place, the CBSL’s incumbent chief must’ve been relieved – for he has stated his firm belief that independence (presumably to a practicable extent) sans politics is essential for him to fulfil his duties as the head of the nation’s monetary authority.

It is for this reason – and dare we say, in the hope that he will continue to inspire his peers and others in positions of high authority to maintain the sense of professionalism, integrity and stability we’ve witnessed thus far – that Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy is being conferred LMD’s Sri Lankan Of The Year (SLOTY) award for 2016.

He is LMD’s 22nd SLOTY, and joins a line-up of illustrious men and women who have done the country proud over this magazine’s lifetime.

And it goes without saying that Coomaraswamy epitomises the calibre of public servants that Sri Lanka so desperately needs to take the country forward.

LMD is also acronym for Lankan Madcow Disease suffered by all politicians. It’s contagious and spread to any one who enters the house of parliament. Even those who want to bring good governance.

Well lets hope that Inderjith lives up to this and makes sure that he cleans out the Central Bank and restores ACCOUNTABILITY and the end to the CULTURE of Impunity and immunity for financial crimes that is systemic in Sri Lanka.

IC must ensure that both Mahendran and Nivard Cabraal are held accountable from massive corruption and bond scams and currency manipulation at the CB.

He also needs to ask IMF which is supposed to do global Financial Governance to do its job and track down the funds looted from Sri Lanka in off shore accounts including Panama papers.

These funds from Financial Crimes need to be returned to Sri Lanka pay off the massive debt, rather than borrow more from IMF and China and load taxes onto the poor to pay for the financial crimes of the rich, corrupt politicians and their business cronies.

LMD gave this award so that they can be in good books with Indrajith. Indrajith cant be the Sri Lankan of the Year. He came to the position only in the latter part of the year – in the last few months of the year. He has not done absolutely anything good for the country so far other than hiding an internal Central Bank report that found Arjuna Mahendran guilty of corruption. And, that act of Indrajith amounts to corruption itself. Shame on you LMD for such a poor selection. Shame on you Don Stanley for saying hoorah.

Even before joining to SLCB, he had been a great scholar, being recognized to international banking community. Please about the person before falling to the level of Buruwanse or Gonthadipila to just evasively add your thoughts.

Srinath, if you as a retired person, find no anything better to do, go back to lanka and help Madamulana people with their ground cleaning tasks. It is reported, that their extrementa pits are overflowing by today, with no enough help them with – the areas is becoming poluted AND stinky too.

Current CB Governor of Indrjith Kumarasamy has to relived his duty as soon as possible .

The very reason that Indrjith has unable give full information of CB Bond scam by Previous Ex-CB governs scandal of corruption of which looted the public funds that belongs to the money of Tax payers and the PUBLIC citizens of Sri Lankan.

Until large scale Bond scam an operated by UNP-Ranil W.. leadership that collaborations with Perpetual Primer Trades ,while public money scandal culprits has been NOT yet bring before court of Law, current CB- Indrijith position of CB governor managing is risky job.

We cannot trust his position and managing of CB operation.

I want him leave this position that Indrajith past record of working with LTTE related organization was involved.

Indrajith was consulted to LTTE led organization previously is well known fact. His honesty and credential of credibility been challenges by his own past record.

Our country national interest if priority of survival of People’s system of Democracy and its Economic sovereignty.

We cannot live on an iota of suspension of Financial Market by CB day to day operation.

N .Wimaladasa, anytime a Tamil is elected to a senior position some or other a Sinhala goon will hear some voices in his or her pea brain and come out with some ridiculous stories to back up his or her theories and call it facts. Go and tell these types of stories to your gamaya bandas in the south……..deep south. MR heard some voices like this too, maybe he is a good start for you.

So like the Galle Face X’mas tree. :(

      Ramona Therese, what about the Galle Face Christmas tree? You believe in Buddhism and Lord Buddha? Can you tell me whether;
      1-Buddha ever call himself God?
2-What Godly powers did Buddha have?
      3-What did Buddha give up?
4-For what reasons he gave up whatever (depending on the answer to Q3)?
5-Where did he go, when he gave up whatever he gave up?
      6-What did he hate?
7-Did he ask people to follow him?

Lets see whether you can answer all above truthfully?

Once you answer my questions, I will tell you about the birth of Christ.

      • 3

Extraneous, Tamil from the North. Gigantic Xmas tree on Dirty Brown Soil Galle Face Green would be quite extraneous to green Buddhistic Sri Lanka, where the ancestors used to go for millenia to sit on the rocks and enjoy the cool sea breeze and dream dreams. Coomarasamy too is extraneous to the aspirations of the Lankan majority. The fact that he was involved with Raj Rajaratnam is enough to disqualify him. Ok, lets say that he is a moderate, intent on Lankan unity. But that unity comes with plan D : Unified, but in association with the greater Tamil Nadu Dravidian nation! Hela ancestors must be turning in their graves! Sri Lanka came first before Buddha and Christ. Sri Lanka was there before the 65 other Buddhas. Gautama of course santified the Island as his very own. Time to plant some grass on Galle Face Green.

          ramona therese fernando – you have indeed gone mad. Can you tell me the following;

•If this is your Buddhist land which you love so much and lay claim to this land, then why are you living in the USA (PA)?
•Extraneous? bloody poppycock nonsense. It became extraneous because you could not answer my simple questions. At least now, can you answer my questions in regards to Buddhism and Buddha?

You are just a simpleton who cannot understand the fact that your ancestors and my ancestors came to Ceylon and chased the natives out and grabbed the land. Today you place a false claim to the land since you heard some voices in your head and it goes like this…………..Ramona this is your land and place a claim or else these dirty Tamils will steal your land and the great Mahawamsa will be no more and Buddhists will be pushed into the water. So you decided to be the heroine of the Gamaya bandas from the south and became a great key board warrior. You are nothing but a humbug, who misleads people from a far away land and instigate another war while your children, husband and you lead a peaceful life in the comforts of the USA. You are a Buddhist extremist. Extremists should be exterminated, so that this once beautiful country can be beautiful again. Sometime back, you could not tell the difference between $19,000 and $19,000,000,000. You thought $19,000,000,000 was only $19,000. How can one deduce such a large amount of money to a small amount of money disregarding all the other zeroes in the amount?

Green Buddhistic SL? hahahaha, this is indeed a bloody hoot. How did you come up with this hilarious idea. But it is funny though. I am still laughing. Have you ever tried stand up comedy work anywhere in PA (USA)? You certainly have a wild imagination. Mr. Kumaraswamy’s connection to Raj Rajaratnam is such a crime? Really? Karuna (ex-LTTE murderer) murdered 600 SURRENDERED policemen, if I may add all were Sinhalese from what I heard, can you go down to SL and face the families of those poor policemen and repeat your support for MR? MR gave him a Deputy Minister job. Then MR’s highly educated Economist brother Dr. Basil Rajapaksa (Grade 5, the youngest person in the world to obtain a Phd) through a gamaya banda by the name Tiran Alles and Tamil hoodlum by the name Emil Kanthan dropped off Rs. 180,000,000 in the Vanni jungles to prevent the Tamils from voting for the UNP…………have you conveniently forgotten all these? The way you write I wonder whether you ever even went to school? Are you seriously mad or dumb? There is fantastic treatment in Pennsylvania for you. Maybe you should consult some good doctors for your mental illness and start taking prozac.

Tut, tut, tut, Tamil from the North….no need to go off into the ad hominem rhapsody. Give good argument – I would like to hear legitimate reasoning.

Lots of Lankans live in US and other parts of the world. I say this as I have said many times before : We left because we were poor, and did the country a favor in doing so – quite unlike the many Lankans who take their Lankan money and brains to develop other countries. Hope I can retire in Sri Lanka one day.

Oh no, not my ancestors. My ancestors are mostly Hela. Some came from Europe and some came from South India. But they all assimilated with the Sinhala.

The numbers you mentioned was written as 19 thousand million( or something). Was the thousand, part of the million or an addition to it to make it into the billions …..so was I trying to deduce.

Karuna person repented, saw the error of his ways, and decided that all Lankans whether Tamils or Sinhalese, were all part of the Hela tribe (if anyone else feels they do not have Hela blood, they should go back to India their Mother).

Raj Rajaratnam money was entirely for the Tamils to set up their Tamil realm on Lankan Hela soil.

But nothing wrong with associating with our neighbors, the South Indians (in spite of the 12,000,000 Dalits in Tamil Nadu alone who are not allowed to even dig holes ….I infer that they had wanted to dig holes, but are not allowed to as it was the way to keep them in caste……I mean, 10-thousand years of not being allowed to dig holes, and now it is their chromosomes).

But the association can’t be forced. Former LTTE money should be used to build up the North in relation to the South, and not in relation to South India (though a bit of it is ok).

1-Buddha ever call himself God? No

2-What Godly powers did Buddha have? None

3-What did Buddha give up? Everything unnecessary

4-For what reasons he gave up whatever (depending on the answer to Q3)? They were unnecessary

5-Where did he go, when he gave up whatever he gave up? Everywhere

            6-What did he hate? Nothing

7-Did he ask people to follow him? No

              ramona therese fernando (rtf)

              Tamil from the north (TFN)

rtf: Tut, tut, tut, Tamil from the North….no need to go off into the ad hominem rhapsody. Give good argument – I would like to hear legitimate reasoning.

TFN: nothing I say will sound like a good argument because you are one low class racist. Once you believe in your little mind that Tamils have no place in Ceylon, nothing I say will sound like a reasonable argument. You are a dumb woman. Ad hominem? Yes, what you wrote above is your personal opinion, not facts. So you become a target for your stupidity.

rtf: Lots of Lankans live in US and other parts of the world. I say this as I have said many times before : We left because we were poor, and did the country a favor in doing so – quite unlike the many Lankans who take their Lankan money and brains to develop other countries. Hope I can retire in Sri Lanka one day.

TFN: we left because we could not live with the hoodlums from the armed forces and all the Tamil militants, which was a creation of the racist Sinhala Buddhist hegemony. By the way we were bloody well off in SL. Now I understand why you are a downright low class racist…..you had nothing and you saw majority of the Tamils around you were flourishing though they were the minority. Ok, I now understand your problem. Lankan money? Are you mad? We Tamils did not go to develop other countries but ran away as we were being killed in SL, where the killing was being managed by a Sinhala thug named JR Jayawardene who was a racist old fox. Remember the 1957/58/77/83 racial riots where innocent Tamil civilians were massacred? or you memory only spans out 2 days?

rtf: The numbers you mentioned was written as 19 thousand million( or something). Was the thousand, part of the million or an addition to it to make it into the billions …..so was I trying to deduce.

TFN: you were trying to deduce? Just accept that you could not bloody read.

rtf: Karuna person repented, saw the error of his ways, and decided that all Lankans whether Tamils or Sinhalese, were all part of the Hela tribe (if anyone else feels they do not have Hela blood, they should go back to India their Mother).

TFN: bloody fool like you will never understand your roots. Your ancestors came to Ceylon from India. If part of you came from Europe them get yourself back to Europe before you tell the Tamils to go back. Idiot Karuna murdered 600 surrendered Policemen. He repented? Bull sh&t. He did not repent, he jumped sides as VP asked him to come to the Vanni area for a meeting due to theft and he was a threat to VP’s supremacy. Karuna was about to get a dot in his forehead from VP and he knew his time was up. So he switched sides to save his black ar$e.

rtf: Raj Rajaratnam money was entirely for the Tamils to set up their Tamil realm on Lankan Hela soil.

TFN: did your long lost cousin Mahinda Rajapaksa tell you this fairy tale? He has told you many tall stories I see. Raj Rajaratnam robbed the USA just like every financial crook there. He did not rob the country or manipulate the securities because he purely wanted to help the Tamil race. Are you hearing voices again rtf? I suggested you should get some treatment, why have you not done that yet?

rtf: about the dalits in India.

TFN: I am not even going to touch this subject as you have completely gone off topic as you generally do.

rtf: But the association can’t be forced. Former LTTE money should be used to build up the North in relation to the South, and not in relation to South India (though a bit of it is ok).

TFN: why don’t you ask the former fat cow Shiranthi Rajapaksa who is sitting on bars and bars of LTTE gold?

rtf: the 7 questions about Buddha.

TFN: you provided answers I was looking for. Buddha is not God, he hated nothing and gave up everything. Exactly, Buddha was a wonderful human. He was just that, nothing else. So what are you worshiping him for? What can he provide you? If he hated nothing, then why do you hate the minorities? Also if he gave up everything and you follow him, then why are you in the USA looking for money?

TFN: rtf, you are dumb, jealous, hateful, racist and a waste. Go and keep dreaming of a Buddhist only country. Nothing wrong in dreaming and I will assure you that will never happen!!

Jeezzz……typical of too many of you Tamils : Shout and scream and then throw bombs. No logical analysis and reasoning behind what you say whatsoever. Boils down to nothing but abject selfishness. Total disrespect for the needs and aspirations of the struggling Lankan majority. BTW I was talking about the Sinhalese who come out of the country with their brains and country money to show off. One good thing I will say about you Tamils is that you would have made sure you stayed and developed the country (although it would have meant a forced Tamil conversion for the Sinhalese).

Hey ramona therese fernando, it must be hurting you so badly that a Tamil could slap you so hard and live to tell the story the next day? This is because I live in Canada. Canada is a country, which does not tolerate bigotry. Beautiful Ceylon was destroyed by hoodlums you are related to.

Idiot you mentioned the following: Jeezzz……typical of too many of you Tamils : Shout and scream and then throw bombs.

We threw bombs? the entire Tamil community? Dimwit, did you even go to school beyond grade 2? Are you that dumb? Tamils were the victims for a very long time until VP rose up to thrash your racist scum from the south. I am glad Tamils fought back. Racists like you should be destroyed.

You also wrote: Total disrespect for the needs and aspirations of the struggling Lankan majority.

Hahahaha……….struggling? from what fool? Yes, you were struggling because you sat on a straw mat and did not do a damn thing with your life until you married a poor soul and moved to the USA. I pity your children and your husband. I am not sure how your husband deals with your stupidity. You are one vile jealousy hateful, racist bigot.

Yes, we Tamils would have stayed back and converted Sinhalese to Tamils. For sure that would have happened, keep hearing these voices in your vacuum head.

Always remember you are a person who could not tell the difference between a small number and a very large number. That tells a lot about your intelligence.

                    TFN,

                    Noooooo, not me at all.

But you Tamils in the South started big business in the south, did not employ Sinhalese and give them honorable pay, but employed your “low-caste” workers from TN to work for pittance. In the absence of proper labor laws at the time, you Tamils made pucks of our financial and social systems. It won’t happen this time around.

ramona therese Fernando,[Edited out], Tamils employed dalits for pittance and the Sinhalese employed highly qualified individuals for high pays. Oh yes, now you have become an economist too? How did you transform yourself from stupidity to a highly educated position (Economist)? Did you go store to store and do a study and ask the workers for their resumes? See I told you that you sat on a straw mat and did nothing with your life. Stop letting go of brain farts. You are dumb and extremely uneducated. Grow up you stupid woman. Look around you, for a change why don’t you ask your politicians for their resumes. They are so qualified they don’t even have one. Hahahahaha…..thank God for the USA. Otherwise you will still be sitting in a gutter.

Ewww TFN, my brain is so very obviously not like your brain…..never heard of such things, but it sure goes in line with not digging holes – language also begins to sound similar.

Your “low-castes” wore their resumes on their sleeves. They were not allowed to do anything less, and it was mandatory for them to show the world their caste status. If ever they tried to hide it, they were killed. They naturally began to accept their low status as a badge of honor. Anyone that dares to think otherwise, is killed immediately.

Sinhalese race on the other hand, has the pride of egalitarianism. It is innate in their blood as per the one million years of Buddhistic evolution.

As per our politicians, our Rajapaksas are a family of lawyers. Furthermore, they have great prowess on the Rugby field. And I am supposed to be related to them? Hmmm, nice thought.

              >Raj Rajaratnam money was entirely for the Tamils
              >to set up their Tamil realm on Lankan Hela soil.

to be one of 100 recipients of homes built by the Galleon Tsunami Relief Fund at the Monrovia Estate, Rathgama. Monrovia is earmarked to be a 1000-unit housing scheme constructed by various companies and donor agencies. The Galleon project at Monrovia was coordinated by John Keells Holdings Limited on behalf of the Galleon Tsunami Relief Fund – established by Raj Rajaratnam for the purpose of rebuilding houses for the victims of the tsunami. Rajaratnam was in Sri Lanka when the tsunami struck and witnessed the widespread devastation. He has made a personal contribution of US $ five million to the fund. The fund is being administered in Sri Lanka by Hemas Holdings Limited, Singer (Sri Lanka) Limited and John Keells Holdings Limited.

In November 2009, Rajaratnam pledged to donate $1 million to help with the rehabilitation of the LTTE combatants. He has donated generously to clear land mines in the war-affected areas in Sri Lanka. He recalled his visits to the mine-impacted areas of Sri Lanka and underscored the humanitarian toll that mines have taken. Recalling his encounter with a young child in Kilinochchi who had lost both legs to a land mine, Rajaratnam stated that this particular image that is etched in his memory “made it an easy decision to write the check

So Rajaratnam gave 0.08% of his 7-billion for Lankan charity. All was a charitable formality in anticipation of the bigger scheme of things.

                  >Raj Rajaratnam money was entirely for the Tamils
                  >to set up their Tamil realm on Lankan Hela soil.

The reply was to prove Rajaratnam gave more money
to the South (Rathgama, Hikkaduwa area) than to
                  Tamils.

Also not for “setting up Tamil realm”

$5 million for Tsunami Housing in Hikkaduwa/Rathgama area
$1 million for rehabilitation of LTTE ex soldiers and to clear land mines.

The story goes that he did not provide a cut to the
powers that be. That started the smear campaign in SL.

The powers that be couldn’t be bought. And certainly not with the billions RR stole from the American people.

Dr Coomaraswamy has been appointed to the post of Governor of the Central Bank approximately five months ago. He walked into a “nest” which had been tainted by his two predecessors for well nigh five years and more. The Country and its people had lost every iota of respect and belief in the Central Bank during that period, and the Country was like a headless chicken running around in its Economic and Financial policies let alone corruption in all the high places of the Financial sectors of the Country. There was panic in the Government circles and the Banking sector as to who could lead the Country’s foremost Bank and implement sound financial policies, and take us out of the financial morass that we had got into after the Govt’s initial nominee was involved in a scam of the highest order playing out billions.

The Prime minister and the President were at loggerheads as to who could do this job for the Country after Mahendra had to leave the post under a cloud of shame. There was talk amongst the ruling party of a split in the Govt due this disagreement and the people waited with abated breath to see the outcome of this tug of war. It was then that the President, under sound advise, came up with the name of Dr Coomaraswamy a distinguished and reputable Economist with a brilliant Financial track record and a history of being an honest upstanding personality, which even the Prime Minister could not refute.

Dr Coomaraswamy in his inimitable style, surely and steadily began cleaning up the CB, introducing a culture of ” cleanliness” into a place of “darkness”; where there had been backbiting, dishonesty, uncertainty, and mistrust amongst all cadres, he has brought in a sense of togetherness, objectivity, and functional responsibility so much so that the CB is now bent on restructuring and resurrecting our Economic prospects from the depths that we had sunk into.

The CB cannot solve all the Countries problems, that is the Govt’s responsibility. What they can do is to give honest direction and advise on the Economic path the Country needs to move ahead on, and where they have to, implement those policies.

Dr Coomaraswamy has got his “Bank” in order, now he needs to get the Country’s Financial house in order, which he can do if the POLITICIANS DO NOT MESS it up.He has stepped out in the right direction but has a long way to go. He richly deserves this accolade from LMD both for the fresh air he has brought into the CB and the Financial environment and as a bouquet for what he has achieved in such a short time.Let it be the first of many such awards for what he will do in the future. Knowing him for what he is he will shun these awards for now, until he believes he has done the job entrusted to him to the satisfaction of his peers.

We know he can do the job just like he did on the sports field as Sri Lanka’s rugby Captain, and we wish him the very best as the Governor of the Central Bank, for his success will be eventually ours.

Many recommendation has been floated for safeguard vested interest of Indarjith K… from North Tamils and other names by given that credentials of his honesty is irrelevant for us.

The issue is Not he is Tamil or not. The very inception Indrajith .K…has intentionally omitted address most sensitive issues rise by Public after 5 months in power of Central Bank?

My point of approach is that CB under big mess-up after Bond Scam by ex-CB governor Billions of Rupees which that belongs to Public Funds Looted by ex-CB governor is which that not belongs Tamils, Muslims or Sinhalese are immaterial to the Public!

The pool & team work of Looted public fund by UNP leadership of Ranil W.. Milk s.. Kabir Hussan and Ravi R.. is most paramount crime against People of Sri Lankan. After five months in seat of CB governor Indrajith K… has not taken any single step to redress situation until now as current Governor of CB?

He was unable to deliver that what has to be promptly redress by that is key duty and accountability of to the public?

Where is that honesty come from ?

Do you want Politics to address this remedy? OR by Leaders of UNP Ranil W.. or MS or CBK?

My question is that are we expected for the Mathematical Treatment from CB governor in power ?

What we are seek the current CB governor to redressed corruptions by UNP leaders? ? Put the system in order of CB by current governor ? What action has taken by CB governor?

The crux of matter is CB funds are Public ownership that belongs to whole nation.
The way of Tamils line of thinking that Indrajith K…is Tamil, that is why we an opposed his appointment as CB governor ?

This is every issues call by Tamil chavnanist by North or South of Tamil Nadu Tamils of mindset of TNA and LTTE !

If there is “Tamil ethnicity ” having any excuses on that ground that escape from punishment of Looters by public funds @@@@@@@.in Sri lanak?

By and large Tamils are making Mark system for their Racist benefits of Maximization of cause of Tamil demand of so-called Eelam that puppet regime in North by the myth of Tamil dream of measure of value of discrimination Tamils by Sinhalese race.

This is political nonsense . Political has No relationship with Financial scandal has been occurred after 1948 Post-Independent era of male practices -rule by UNP leadership in 2015 and 2016.

This has created by the Market equation of Tamil theory of behaviours will not apply for Bond Scam of CB by Arjuna Mahadanran and Aylosie of Perpetual Primer Dealers are Tamil origin?

This mode of logic cannot apply for the cause of corruptions of Tamils that of discrimination by Sinhalese many parts of Island.

I have nothing do with issues of Tamils roots, there was naked corruptions by Arjuna Mahadaran and his son-in-law of Aylosis both are Tamils -origin in born.

They were involved by because there of not they are Tamils by the way both are typically looters of Sri Lankan national wealth by adding and abating of UNP leadership that Primer is core leader of behind scam of CB Bond .

When they Looted Public Funds of CB Bonds there was not any differences that they belongs to Tamils or Sinhalese or Muslim?
The current CB Governor has NOT address issues of Bond scam after five months passed.

What he is accountability to the Public ?

Analyst, you asked that where the looted money gone. It has gone back to the country who donated it. They know very well that most of us are Modias, and those who are looting the money also know majority of us are modias and will never catch them (even the present government is not catching)- the miracle of Asia – Perl in a heap of shit.

What has he done for this? Did he buy it? Or, just a new form of bribe?

Looks like all one needs is to replace the corrupt one and become Sri Lankan of the year.

Dr. Coomaraswamy is a brilliant man of impeccable character and integrity . Apart from being a brilliant economist , he captained the Sri Lanka rugby team with distinction , and was a pretty good cricketer. How he manages to cope with corrupt , devious politicians though , is another matter !

He must remove all exchange control rules and allow people to sell their assets and remit where ever they want to settle just as we can bring money from abroad and invest in the island. That is if SL want to be miracle for all but not for thieving politicians.
